Owners Matt and Karen have had years of experience in running community pubs and have built a great trade here at The Old Bush with scrumy home prepared and cooked food and a great range of beer. All aspects of the pub are important to Matt and Karen. So whether you are just popping in for a quick pint or for a special dinner with a group of friends, they and their staff give you a warm welcome. We booked a table to have lunch after having a walk in the nearby countryside. Our booking changed several times in terms of numbers and pre- booked food. We were accommodated each time with courtesy and friendliness. When we arrived for lunch a table was ready and the food came out quickly. It was delicious. We would really recommend this pub for service, friendliness and the quality of food
We had starter & main and I can say it was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere good old pub. Will go again. Thank you very much.
Ordered a steak (top of menu) When it arrived it was 50% grissle and fat. I put up with it, but mentioned it to the waiter who just said sorry and walked away as fast as possible. It was proberly the cheapest cut of meat and i expected more for £20 ,I didnt expect Mitchlin quality being a food serving pub but wouldn`t of put this in a bun let alone serve it up as a main course. Will not be eating there again.
