Customers also encountered significant issues with the website, which was often described as frustrating and unreliable, with unclear pricing information. The overall service experience was frequently disappointing, leading many to state they would not return. It is very hard to contact anyone from this company. Purchased a prepaid Limitless plus membership but error code comes up. Tried to live chat and they have taken away the waiting list and the AI asks the same questions even when asking to speak to a team member. Tried to phone odeon and because it isn’t anything to to with disabled assistance, your are told to go to live chat and the circle of life is repeated over and over again

Can't speak to Guest Services

I am trying to amend some Odeon tickets that were purchased with vouchers. The website says that this is possible and is asking me to speak to Guest Services to do this. I have tried the online chat service, get an estimated wait time of 3-5 minutes and waiting hours with no answer. I really need to speak to somebody about switching these tickets ASAP.

NEVER PURCHASE MYLIMITLESS

Would happily give 0 stars!! ***NEVER PURCHASE MYLIMITLESS*** These reviews match the exact experience I am having. Emailed Odeon a month ago and heard absolutely nothing! Raised a complaint and again, nothing! Oh and the only other contactable way is by a live chat which you will sit in for hours to never be put through to an advisor! I’ve had to contact my bank to block payments as i’m getting absolutely nothing from Odeon. The whole experience has put me off from ever using your cinema’s again! Truly the worst company I have ever experienced for customer service.

The Odeon Milton Keynes was freezing…

The Odeon Milton Keynes was freezing cold, everyone was putting their coats back on again in an attempt to get warm. This is not a one off experience, it seems that in Autumn and Winter they don’t feel the paying customers warrant a warm auditorium, despite them having paid to go watch a movie at their venue! In addition, they really need to inspect the lack of cleaning, no wonder they don’t leave the lighting on before or after the movie, as the state of the seats and surrounding floor areas would frighten the members of the paying public off!

Appalling layout and tolerated ignorance

The experience was marred by the lack of space and proximity to nauseating, ill-behaved children.
It seems you allow rudeness, shouting and abuse of other clients as you did nothing to support my complaint.
Essentially I had to compromise...outrageous.

The theatre itself was cramped and dirty. Seating, although well positioned, was in desperate need of an overhaul.

Sloping in the theatre assumes everyone is of average height...I am massive and block views for people...you need to accommodate for people who are muscle bound and 6 ft 7 tall!

I hope you consider these views

It is absolutely unacceptable that a…

It is absolutely unacceptable that a Turkish film is screened not in a modern, high-quality auditorium, but instead in the type of screens usually reserved for low-priority or niche immigrant movies. Thousands of Turks live here, yet we barely get any Turkish films. And when we finally do, we fill the entire cinema — but still, we don’t receive the respect or the quality we deserve.

I live in the UK(Manchester), but before my movie I was forced to watch extremely poor-quality Indian film trailers. There were four trailers in total, all of them with terrible visuals and storylines that looked like they were written in a bathroom. The volume was unbearably loud and the visuals were genuinely painful to watch. It was a very unpleasant experience.

I have watched films at ODEON before and I know they have much better screens. This is why I strongly believe there is a form of discrimination or marginalisation against Turkish audiences. Because of this awful auditorium and the disturbing trailers shown beforehand, I will not be returning to ODEON, and I will be sharing this experience with everyone around me.

Exceptional Staff.

Went to Odeon Dundee to see new wicked movie, screen 2 heating was not working so i spoke to Sarah a manager, i explained i have heart failure and other disabilities and she could not have been more kind and professional.
They brought me a coffee and blanket to my seat which was much appreciated.
I will definently come back here.

Avoid bad business practices

As others have noted, canceling the subscription is exceedingly difficult. I have been unable to do so personally, and I am currently unable to attend due to an injury and awaiting surgery. The process to cancel is excessively complicated, and even after identifying the procedure, there is a mandatory 30-day waiting period. This approach reflects poor business practice. When companies behave in this manner, I tend to avoid them. While it is instantaneous to join and make a payment, the cancellation process inexplicably requires 30 days. I will not be returning to such unscrupulous practices.

Great place and rooftop is great. food is excellent and good to eat old traditional french dishes. However no wine and with French cuisine it is absurd.

The food is great and products were amazing (oysters, escargot, etc...) My only comment is related to lack of information about the fact they dont serve wine and for French meal this is a bit strange. I dont question the regulation but the lack of information and I think it is a key info. Their alcohol-free wines are crap (neither wine nor juices). I booked the place for my marriage anniversary and could not have a glass of champagne. Just disappointing. Anyway food experience is great though.

Cancelling our Odeon subscription is impossibl

Cancelling our Odeon subscription has proved to be impossible.

There’s no way to cancel via app, even though that’s how you sign up for the subscription. Then when you call the number on the website it says to email Odeon, and when you send an email you get an automated response that says they’ll get back to you in 10 days. Then, they don’t bother responding in 10 days, and instead send yet another automated response saying it’s taking longer than 10 days!

Not only that, but they’ve gone ahead and charged me for yet another month of a subscription I’m not using, when I’ve followed their obstructive cancellation process 😡.

In the UK, businesses have an obligation to make it easy for users to cancel subscriptions “Businesses should make it as easy to cancel a contract as it was to sign up for it” and Odeon is not complying with that law.

Please cancel my subscription and refund me ASAP.

Odeon Luxed in Acton is a real treat

5/5 - it’s private it’s cinematic and also incredibly spacious. Black leather reclined seats - what else could you want!

Maybe one extra thing I would recommend is more security throughout the movie. It’s impossible to stop kids sometimes talking through the movie :)

No respect for customer integrity

UPDATE to original review below:
Having referred my concerns to management as a complaint I have since received several emails in response to what became a debate.
Basically each time they responded it was with an excuse eg ranging from voucher providers T & C’s having been amended (my bank confirmed not), to my identifying via two random test bookings (2 different films) that pricing and seat categories differed between them despite being in same screen (for one film this included adding a completely revised and even additional category of seats within the seating plan): their excuse: right to use dynamic pricing!!!!! Funny how each time I challenged their excuses, a new one just kept popping up. Unprofessional service with little integrity demonstrated for customers intelligence.

Previous review below:

I’m sharing this review for awareness related to a recent booking experience.
I’ve used the IMAX screen at their Cardiff cinema for many years and have always been happy with it.
When booking online or via the app I have always used my vouchers which I receive from my bank having had no issues previously until now.
I noticed that the seating plans are now (and this must be a recent change as wasn’t the case for my last and recent booking) coloured per area.
When querying why my voucher didn’t work basically it was implied that they would work fine for the bottom three rows but not the fourth which I wanted. After complaining that this goes against the voucher T & C’s and asking my bank who are now exploring my query as they have not been told about any changes by Odeon, Odeon's response was basically them just indicating they’re trying to offer a better guide for when choosing your seats. My response was why would the third row be deemed less better than the fourth, especially when all seats (apart from the premier ones) are of the same standard and quality? I don’t think it’s appropriate to suggest a range of differences between various rows when some seats in even the claimed better rows don’t have an improved viewing point.
So basically, just be aware that for some un notified reason, Odeon have chosen to make changes that go against some vouchers entitlement.

Unacceptable conditions in a cinema

I choose 1 star as no option to choose lower. This is the cinema I generally go to when going to a cinema in waterford. It's the worst experience I've had in a long time in a cinema. It was so cold I wanted to leave a half hour into the movie but my girlfriend wanted to see the movie so we stayed in there. My girlfriend has a low immune system and she will be lucky if she is not sick due to it been so cold. What made it worse is the cinema staff were aware they had no heating for a number of the cinemas in there but declined to make there customers aware of it, and then after asking to speak with the manager marianne instead of offering a full refund, we were offered a couple of free passes. Apparently it's an ongoing issue the hearing in there and Odeon are not listening to there manager who has made many complaints to try get it fixed. The manager was lovely but should of offer as full refund, and again as a customer I should of been informed as a paying customer of the issue and at least that way I could of choose a movie in a cinema with the hearing working.

Excellent for disabled and great staff.

Visited the Odeon at Lea Valley on the 1st of November to see the 10am screening of Gabbies Doll House. The gentleman there was so attentive, handing out stickers and crosswords to the children,he was really helpful when we had a few queries, nothing was too much for him,was so lovely.
I was also very pleasantly surprised by the disabled toilet, with working radar key entry and cord fully to the floor, such a rare find nowadays, even in healthcare settings.
I really think this venue and their staff need a big shout out, can’t wait to go again.

Cinema with. no salted popcorn

Horrible experience. Paid for a large popcorn and drink voucher but arrived and was told Northampton Luxe has no salted popcorn. When I asked if we can change for anything else, the manager (Sangela) said no, I even offered to pay extra money in to upgrade to something else but she had no intention of helping and said no to that offer as well. Horrible experience, go somewhere that will actually make an effort to help their customers. It's like you're being punished because their machine broke
