Disgraceful customer service. I have had the alarm system with Octagon for over 25 years. Have had problems over the last few years with costly call outs and surveys to fix. Finally cancelled the service. They would not come out to dismantle- wanted to charge 300+VAT to do that. Asked for assistance to disarm over the phone so that we can dismantle and insisted that there has to be a call out.....and of course a charge. Forget customer service , (25 years customer!!) only priority seems to be to make money out of what was an archaic system. Future customers need to be aware of this financial trap

A engineer visited on the 13th April 2023 from Octagon limited ( alarms and security in Watford, Ickenham and Uxbridge area) and was abusive and was about to hit me and which point I shut the door and he started smashing the door not once but several times.
The engineer visited only for 2 minutes , did no checking , said the alarm needed replacing , when I questioned the £180 money taken for doing no work , he said he would recommend a refund. I asked for him to get the owner of Octagon on his phone , which he did but at which point he changed his story to the owner , I asked the engineer why he changed the story and he came to my face and was about to hit me and which point I shut the door and he started smashing the door not once but several times. As you can appreciate I have kids and wife in the house as this was much of an ordeal for them as it was for me of a frightening and terrifying experience. I wonder is this what your company does to all its customers to extract initial money and do no work and then to extract more money ( and how can I trust your company Octagon after the this terrifying ordeal I faced) from those who are trying to just get by in the cost of living crisis and hard earned money of vulnerable people.
Beware , do not pay any money upfront and do not use them at all
