O’Briens Wine Off-Licence Group is Ireland's largest family owned drinks retailer. We import directly and exclusively from over 100 wineries worldwide. We have a strong relationship with each of our suppliers which enables us to offer our customers a range of excellent quality wines at the very best value. We also work with local suppliers to deliver a complete range of over 1,000 wines, more than 500 world and craft beers and a constantly growing spirits range from Ireland and around the world. In visiting any of our 33 stores, you will enjoy a unique shopping experience thanks to our modern, contemporary layout, daily in-store tastings, monthly promotions and excellent service from our knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our staff are passionate about wines, beers and spirits and most of them have completed WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) exams. Our online offering is also brought to you by the same innovative team of staff, who provide excellent descriptions of the wines and winemakers, useful serving suggestions & handpicked mixed cases of their personally recommended favorites.

Wine delivered as ordered but delay due to damage

Wine delivered as ordered by DPD which provide a text with timed delivery window.
Not 5 star this time as my order was damaged in transit at couriers. No one there was proactive to either inform me or O’Briens. I called the couriers at approx 4pm wondering why I was not given a delivery time & check it was on its way. Then I had to ring O’Briens to tell them what had happened and arrange a re-issue of the order.
All ended well. 🍷

Great choice and easy to order

Easy to use website and great choice of wines and spirits. Found the lillet blanc at a good price and chose some wine as well to reach the €65 free delivery threshold. The only reason I haven;t given 5 stars is that I received 3 delivery dates...the box arriving on the third date given.

DISGUSTING STAFF IN THE HEAD…

DISGUSTING STAFF IN THE HEAD OFFICE!!!...LIARS LIARS LIARS!!!!....THE SERVICE SAYS 2-3 DAYS FREE DELIVERY FOR PURCHASE OF €60, BUT THEY DID NOT DELIVER THE GOODS!!!...I ENDED UP COLLECTING THE GOODS FROM ONE OF THEIR SHOP!!!!HOPEFULLY BAD KARMA WILL BEFALL YOUR COMPANY!!!

Some great recommendations made for an excellent wedding

I had trouble ordering the quantities I needed for my wedding via the website, and so got in touch with O'Briens to see if they could help out. James A was a big help, sourcing the Malbec we wanted, and recommending a lovely New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which went down a treat with guests. Payment and delivery options were pain free, and the wine was delivered in good time ready for the celebrations to begin. I'd happily recommend O'Briens for anyone looking to cater for a big party/wedding etc.

The delivery is fast and prices are…

The delivery is fast and prices are great but what I really feel makes O’Brien’s so good is the websites filters. They have thought of everything when it comes to choosing wine and my favourite is being able to filter by alcohol content!
