Callum was amazing helped me with a chairs and sofa amazing personality ex army as well my husband loved his stories got alone like he was his grandad honestly couldn’t find a better person too hep us and the company thank you oak tree and thank you Callum can’t wait for our Parker knoll chairs and sofa

Awful company, they sold my mother, a vulnerable, 85 year old great grandmother, a bed costing £2500. From day one, my mother has struggled to get in or out of the bed, this has resulted in slips off the edge of the bed, falls, ambulance call outs and pain for my mum.
My mum was 5ft tall in her younger days, unfortunately her height was not checked by Oak Tree when the sale was agreed. They mentioned they had a bed in the warehouse which someone had not wanted and funnily enough, they happened to be in her area the very next day!
Of course, the information led my mum to believe that not only was she getting a bargain, but also, this was company who were helpful and accommodating.
If Oak Tree had carried out a very basic check when selling her the bed, they would have been aware the bed is far too high for her to get in and out safely and comfortably. Their records state she's 5ft 4" which is absolutely laughable, she isn’t 5 ft 4 even if she wears stilettos!

Basically they've exploited an elderly lady who wanted to be comfortable in her old age.
Their 'Mission' states:
Bringing happiness through helping people. The mission is close to all our hearts at Oak Tree. You’ve seen it in our service already, and should you need us again after the delivery of your chair, bed or bath lift we’ll be there for you then.

What it should actually say is "Our Mission is to rinse you of as much money as possible. Our brochures don't have any prices which allows us to quote silly prices and if you don't buy we can sort a bargain at a slightly cheaper silly price.

My mum now is having to sleep in a single bed in her spare room as it is no longer safe for her to attempt to clamber into the bed.
She is a proud lady and has spent the last few months struggling so unfortunately we appear to have missed the opportunity for a replacement or refund.

Do not waste your money, my advice is go to a reputable supplier.

Michael was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, no pressure in any way.
Important for us is the history and quality of the company.

The sales representive Chaz was such a professional, he showed me the chair and explained the benefits in detail. He was so polite and friendly, because of his manner I brought a chair.x̌x

With reference to the reply from Oak Tree Mobility - they are lying - they have no idea who my Mum is - I have given them no information to identify her

I could absolutely cry after my experience today. My mum had arranged for a home visit, and I made sure I was with her for the appointment. Both my husband and I had told her NOT to buy anything on the day and have a think about it. The man said that he did not work on commission and he was only there for the visit. My mum did like the chair, although I thought it was not right for her. The man then went in for the hard sell, heated seats/massage/head rest/arm covers, which mum wanted. He was pressurising her to sign today and he could do it £100 cheaper et etc. so despite my advise she agreed to buy it, at that point I walked out. The whole experience was awful. I feel the man lied to us and that he was working on commission, the way he kept on about ‘let’s get it done today’ etc etc and I feel he took advantage of the situation

Rod Mason came to see me and demonstrated the Oak Tree chair, which seems to fit all my requirements. He has left me a quote I am comfortable with, and there was no pressure to buy on the day.

Nick was very professional and explained everything really well and I had lots of questions to ask. He was very patient and paid attention to detail. He didn’t try to hard sell me anything which was good. He was also very handsome!!

My mum had a recent visit from Oak Tree mobility, we found the representative very helpful, polite, caring and helpful. Mr Chaz was honest and good enough to do a demonstration of an adjustable chair and bed. Great customer service!

Ted medherst came today very obliging with no pressure put on me at all and given me time to think about the cost

Mark the sales man was right on time his manner was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything in detail. He measured me so that the chair would be the perfect size. He was with us for around 90 min. And in that time we order 2 chairs. We are now looking forward to the delivery. Thank you Mark it was a pleasure to meet you. Trevor and Cynthia.

Chair needed new motor and handset after 18months had to pay £65 to get engineer to call to diagnose it been waiting 3 weeks for new motor to be delivered.Very dissapointing

Our expert, Changez, patiently explained and demonstrated options to my parents, as my dad needs a specialist chair. He had a lovely manner, which they appreciated as well as the time given to consider the purchase with no pressure to purchase immediately, though I think they will as its clearly a great product.
