Absolutely Amazing Service!

From start to finish Sam has kept me updated and advised throughout the whole process. Yesterday we collected our vehicle and we were talked through everything and advised on how to keep the engine in tip top condition.

After meeting Sam and some of the team I honestly can’t thank them enough for the standard of work they have done.

Yes, replacing an engine is an expensive thing, but after driving the car over 250 miles back home you can tell the standard of workmanship that they put into the vehicles.

I honestly can’t recommend and thank them enough for the service provided.

Team NWS and SAM can’t thank you enough when my RR L405 went bang and no one in Scotland would take the job NWS stepped up to the plate. From the first phone call Sam made me feel at home and that I was in good hands. Engine/both turbos/rocker cover etc later I got her back today in time for Christmas! Awesome Job

If you have a Landrover, don’t bother going anywhere else. These guys are fantastic! Been looking after our Discovery 4 for 2 years now, excellent service, clear communication. Prices are very reasonable and always quoted before the work.

I contacted NWS via their website as I needed a new engine in my Discovery Sport. From the time the form was submitted the communication was brilliant, the quote was broken down and there were no hidden extras. I was given a 5 week window and it was completed in 3. The running in process was explained and there were no oil changes needed at 500 and 1000 miles were fitted in without any issues. Great service all round from Sam and team. Will definitely recommend

This is an update from my July 2023 rave review. Guess what? This is another rave review. I’ve covered nearly 20,000 miles with the rebuilt 5 litre supercharged engine and it’s simply… BRILLIANT! I really can’t fault it in any way… so I repeat what I said two years ago: this engine is better than the one that was in the car when I bought it new. It’s quieter, more fuel-efficient and more powerful. From being a car that I thought I’d have to scrap, it’s now a magnificent one that looks set to serve well for maybe another decade. Well done all at NWS and MANY THANKS.

These guys are genuine specialists and one you can trust with your Jaguar/Land Rover. An engine rebuild is not a cheap option on a car of this quality and it’s a folly to spend less with a budget engineer thinking you will get more. You don’t because parts alone plus the labour and after service tell you that. Which is why I went to NWS after doing the homework on comparisons and recommendations. NWS did a fantastic job on my Vogue 5 L petrol engine. Sam and Ashley are the guys to speak to. They keep you in the picture on progress which I appreciated and they certainly know their JLR engines.

My LR Discovery Sport engine & turbo ‘blew’ so I contacted NWS, who I had read about very positively in various Land Rover magazines.
I have now completed 500 miles on their replacement engine which I am extremely pleased with.
Sam and Josh kept me informed of the repair process and I am reassured that NWS are leaders in this specialist field.
I can recommend NWS wholeheartedly as having given my LR a new lease of life.

I have had many recent dealings with NWS for my Range Rover. I am very pleased to complement them in Every way, from their politeness to their willingness to bend over backwards to get my vehicle seen to as quickly as possible . Sam and Ashley are to be commended on customer service. It was really refreshing to be treated respectfully by them which is unusual in the motor world for a single woman. Well done buys!!

Gave me a price on job. intake manifolds and other items to fix fault job completed and to the price given vehicle was valeted inside and out great service and experience on this common jaguar fault would not hesitate to go back again with a complex fault again

What a breath of fresh air. After years of tolerating woeful customer service and horrendous prices at main JLR dealerships, was able to book my car in at NWS very easily and with a courtesy car readily provided (at no cost). Work all carried out exactly as promised. No hesitation in recommending this company, superb experience !

Fitted a new engine to my discovery 4 nothing was too much trouble all my questions were answered everything was catered for even picked myself and the wife up from the station when we went to collect my vehicle would recommended them anytime .

A very positive end to the repair of my LR RRS by NWS Motor Services.

1. My RRS which at the time had completed only 36,560 miles had sudden major loss of power and disturbing rattling noise when started with the engine idling over.

2. In my general research, I soon realised from several very experienced ex-LR mechanics who all had major experiences of LR’s, that there was a serious problem that was way beyond their remit and to be honest, I was not willing to commit what was going to be ‘apparently’ more than £10,000+ to rectify.

3. This avenue of initial researched included LR Christchurch, Dorset whose immediate answer was either a ‘reconditioned engine’ at £18-20000 or a ‘new engine’ at £24,000, this notwithstanding that the car had been regularly serviced by them for the initial five (5) years and thereafter, a very respected local LR outlet closer to home and with realistic service/repair prices….so all in all, a full-service history.

4. At this point I started to conduct more detailed research on specialized companies who had the experience, background and trusted reviews in order get my RRS back on the road.

5. It seemed at the time that there were several capable companies and via initial telephone calls I settled for three (3) possibles. I then visited each individual company which, I would strongly recommend to any person who may experience similar symptoms to their LR. I was disappointed with the my initial two (2) visited; for me, anyway, failed to maintain what they freely advertised online; the caveat being here, whilst I am sure they are excellent mechanics etc, my initial impressions of their premises/workshop/inter-customer care were to say the very least, very poor.

Note; (reception room not operational; poorly briefed on repair procedures and costings, briefed outside in the rain and whilst I totally understand H&S procedures and it is a vehicle workshop, from the outside looking in it looked total mess & disorganised….as I saw it, not a good first impressions that they as a company surely want to advertise!!)

6. My last visit was to NWS Motor Services; on arrival from the outside, it was clear that NWS had their s..t together; impressive and exactly as per advertised on their website.

7. On entry to their reception area which was immaculate I was greeted by Ashley who as per our recent Telcom, again explained to me in detail with the help of several engine blocks (for briefing purposes) the possible problems of my RRS with approximate costings at each stage. Further, the seller/customer interaction was excellent, I was afforded all the time needed to answer all my questions/queries & concerns. From this professional interaction, I confidently booked my RRS into NWS’s doctor surgery.

8. The RRS was picked on the agreed date/time. Kudos must also go the driver who treated my RRS as his own; no stone unturned to ensure safe passage to NWS. My RRS was with NWS for nearly six (6) weeks with a couple ‘of Telecoms’ updates from Josh/Ashley on findings, costings and progress of the repair. On completion of the repair which amounted to the following.

a. A Range Rover Sport Fully Reconditioned Engine,

b. New Cast Crankshaft,

c. New Oil Cooler &

d. DPS Cleaned and Checked.

9. On arrival at Whitchurch railway station, I was met by Josh in my RRS. We drove back to NWS workshop where I was briefed on the above repair in detail, cost and the cause; they highlighted that the engine failure would not have been identified by any servicing mechanic; it was very much an internal failure. (probably a Monday or Friday built RRS!!)

10. I was also shown around their workshop/staff and the documented stages of the repair that my RRS went through …..impressed and a sincere thanks to all concerned. To date the RRS is running smoothly while religiously maintaining the warranty requirement set out by NWS.

I have no hesitation in recommending NWS for any LR repair or servicing; if they were closer to me, unfortunately I live in Dorset, this is where my LR’s would be serviced/repaired. Once again, a sincere thanks to Josh, Ashley and team, so appreciated, thank you.

It’s never a good day when you need a new engine for your Jaguar. But when you do you want to know that those supplying and fitting your new engine are experts, reliable and trustworthy.
NWS have been so helpful on every step in the process and have provided confidence in the replacement engine . I’m so pleased I chose NWS for my engine as I think there is a broad range of recon engine providers , with NWS being first rate providers

Me and the Landy were well looked after again by Ashley and Josh at NWS. Really appreciated their time and friendly approach to fit me in so quick and sort out some essential work and a service followed up with an MOT to take the pressure off me trying to find somewhere to book it in.

Ok I would first of all thank Josh and Ashley at NWS.for their complete honest work and attitude regarding my issues with my range rover sport 49000 miles old with a snapped crank .
I first went to my main dealer who sold me the car and was advised that it's a one off and said it's a big job to do and cannot even look at it for 2 months and had serviced it from new .
Right so I started to look online for help and found a company in London who said they could pick the car I
Free of charge and repair it for £5000 wow that's a deal until they turned up with a knackerd.old range rover and a trailer.....alarm bells started ringing and
if they took the car thought i would never see it again so I declined .......ok on to the good.news.I again did a.log of research and found NWS. Read all the reviews and was satisfied to hand over my beloved car to them and arrange for collection the driver could not have been better the car had stood for 2 months on my drive way and not easy to load ....no problem for him job sorted.

So I left to NWS.to do their there job .....had a few calls each way regarding the engine problems and was always updated in a very professional manner and no nasty surprises of extra costings etc.
Ok picked my car up today and was greeted by Josh and Ashley who escorted me around their factory and I witnessed the attention to detail and the professional people working with them ( like me some old boys who you can tell love their job and have pride in their work)

So to sum it all up I drove away with a genuine 30000 mile warranty my car valetted and a big smile on my face .

And to complete this after seeing all the cars they have in with the same issues some with only 16000 miles just out of warranty who JLR. Will say it's a one off I will be setting up a web site in the next few weeks.

Range rover cracked cranks for no gains but to bring JLR. to admit that it's not a one off

My wife's car had an issue with the headlight.
NWS fixed it very quickly and for much less than the price Land Rover would charge to simply diagnose the issue.
