Would not recommend

I am writing this review with genuine sadness and disappointment following my recent experience with this clinic.

Having previously undergone IVF treatment elsewhere, I understand the level of care, sensitivity, and communication required when supporting patients through infertility. I approached this clinic with realistic expectations — not of perfection, but of empathy, clarity, and patient-centred care.

Unfortunately, from my very first interaction, that expectation was not met. After arranging an appointment, it was cancelled within 48 hours due to non-payment, despite me clearly explaining that I was about to go on holiday and would settle the invoice on my return. Given the deeply personal nature of fertility treatment, this immediate focus on payment felt transactional rather than compassionate, which was both unsettling and disheartening.

The initial appointment itself lacked warmth and emotional awareness, and this continued throughout the consultation. Very little was explained in meaningful detail, and we were not asked about our journey, our medical history, or how we were coping emotionally. Instead, assumptions appeared to be made about our situation. I left feeling unheard, unsupported, and no clearer or reassured than when I had arrived.

The following day, we received an outstanding invoice requesting payment for treatment, with no follow-up communication to check whether we had questions, needed clarification, or required time to process what had been discussed. Once again, the contact felt purely financial. At no point did we feel guided, supported, or cared for — only processed.

Infertility is not a service people casually purchase; it is deeply personal, painful, and life-changing. In this field, compassion, communication, and emotional intelligence are just as important as clinical expertise. Sadly, our experience felt impersonal and transactional, leaving us with nothing gained other than emotional disappointment.

This experience has left us questioning whether patient wellbeing is truly the priority, or whether financial considerations come first. No one navigating infertility should be left with that doubt.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and reflected upon, as the impact of such experiences extends far beyond a single appointment.

TFP nurture, Up to date review 5 stars from me!

If you’re coming here looking for reviews to decide which clinic is best for you I urge you check the dates of the reviews below as they are very outdated. I’ve had 2 rounds of ivf with nurture and going into my FET in January. Compared to other clinics in Nottingham I think my experience here has been fab! Communication is always great I never struggle to get a hold of a nurse when needed. They’re very empathetic when things go wrong and I love how detailed all the appts are. I know how many follicles I have, what size, what’s going on with my lining etc etc at every scan, I could go on!! Even down to transfer the doctor is talking/showing us through every step of what they are doing it’s great. My protocol has been changed on both rounds of ivf to try and get the best outcome which I think is brilliant they aren’t just blanketing every woman with unexplained infertility with the same cycle it’s personalised to your body and you.

Bad communication and promotion if…

Bad communication and promotion if you’ve been there a long time, no real management structure and no customer support,
I Left from working there due to:
There are no boundaries around work. ...
People treat each other with contempt. ...
The interpersonal relationships aren't healthy. ...

Lack of recognition, favoritism, unhealthy communication, gossiping, and high turnover that cause a burnout work culture. Toxicity in the workplace was by bad leadership, poor management skills, loosened code of conduct, and lack of communication. And the department has this in spadefuls.
Avoid applying.

Bad communication

I aimed to have IVF here based on a recommendation, but felt that there were clear communication issues and lack of follow up. The initial scan and consultation with a doctor was positive, but when I came back with questions I was passed between receptionist and nurse, and feel the online portal was not the best mode of reaching anyone. Feeling dejected and ghosted I gave up chasing the team and went elsewhere. Since reaching out to a clinic in Spain, I experienced excellent customer service, with a personal patient liaison. I was anticipating several month wait with Nurture, but in the Spanish clinic I began treatment within the month and I am now pregnant. It was a shame that I had such a bad experience, but it was for the best in the long run (and cheaper all round)

This is our 4th time using Nuture and…

This is our 4th time using Nuture and we definitely regret our decision this time round. They hide behind an online portal and make absolutely no actual communication. Our clinic was meant to be Burton but because of staff illness for almost 2 weeks have made us go to Stoke. And medication is due to run out to be told need to go to Nottingham to collect even though they work out the amount the be prescribed. Avoid! IVF is not a time to be stressed and you will be nothing but stressed if you go with this clinic! Please avoid I never write reviews but I don’t want another person to go through the same stresses we have!

Extremely poor service - look elsewhere if you want to save yourself stress and hassle!

I contacted Nurture Fertility to book some private fertility investigations and the booking process was poor from start to finish. When I initially asked for a price for the tests and to book an appointment, I was told that to do this I would need to fill in an online contact form and that someone would then phone me promptly to answer my queries. Instead, I received an email the next day that did not answer the questions I had asked on the form. After calling them again, they gave me a price for the tests and said that I needed to fill in further forms through an online portal before someone would contact me to book me in for the tests. Following this, I had to phone them on 6 further occasions over several days. I was repeatedly promised that someone would call me back to book the appointment shortly but they kept failing to get back to me. When I did eventually manage to book the appointment, a nurse then phoned me to confirm the price of the tests and quoted significantly more than I had been told originally. At this point, I decided just to cancel the appointment and book the tests elsewhere. I called another fertility clinic who confirmed a cheaper price to me and booked an appointment within the space of 5 minutes (more than Nurture Fertility had managed to do in nearly a week of chasing them!). Arranging fertility investigations is a stressful enough process and the poor customer service and communication from Nurture Fertility only added to this stress. Given the issues they had with booking some basic tests I would never now consider arranging any IVF treatment through them if needed.

Egg Donor

I was an egg Donor through Nurture and during treatment they were great, constant contact and answered any questions or worries you had, but once donation was through you get left to deal with any problems that may happen. Ovarian Hyperstimulation can be a very serious side effect from donating and due to no aftercare i was left very poorly.
Donors are told all expenses are also paid which turned out not to be case when sorting out final payment and expenses.
