Information provided by various external sources
Novadown, New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of European inspired duvets and pillows, was founded in the 1980’s in Auckland, New Zealand. From the beginning, Novadown made it its mission to offer down and feather bedding products of the highest quality. In 2001 Novadown was purchased by Ellis Fibre, one of New Zealand’s most innovative bedding companies and the founder of the famous Ellis Fibre Original Lavender pillow, and was relocated to Dunedin on New Zealand’s beautiful South Island. The company’s focus on luxury and comfort was emphasized even more when Novadown introduced the most luxurious of all downs – the Hungarian goose down - to the New Zealand market. Encouraged by the success of its Hungarian goose down pillows and duvets, Novadown went out to find other unique and exceptional materials that would offer their customers the ultimate sleeping experience. As a result, Novadown now also offers bedding products made from Alpaca, Bamboo, as well as Down Alternative for especially sensitive people. The care and pride Novadown puts into the creation of its products ensures you have a great sleep – night after night!

Novadown made me a special fill weight duvet inner after consulting by phone.
Clear answers to my questions and a quote were received on the day of my initial enquiry.
Delivery was slightly delayed - not their fault - and I was kept informed of progress.
The product perfectly fills my needs.
Service and attention to detail rarely seen these days.

I purchased the Hungarian 95% goosedown …
I purchased the Hungarian 95% goosedown pillow which is very flat and soft and gives no neck support. Paid a lot of money for it and now Lucas wants me to send it back and pay more money for it. Never buying a pillow online again because you can't try before you buy and not happy with the after sale response. I read another review where they arranged to return the pillow and increase the fill free of charge but they won't do it in this case. Be aware before spending so much money.

Reply from Novadown
Hi Shaenaz, thanks for your review. Sorry that you are not pleased with your order, or the response you received. As mentioned in my follow up email, we have information on the website about our pillows that includes what firmness they are. We try to give our customers as much information as possible on our items to make the online shopping experience easier, including information on choosing what is the right pillow for you and it is there so we can try to do as much as possible to avoid situations like this. Sending the pillow back to us so we could increase the fill level for you was only a suggestion to help you with your problem, which unfortunately comes with extra cost due to more down being required. Kind regards, Lucas Mills, Novadown.
Service very good and prompt.

Very impressed with service
Very impressed with service. My bamboo pillow arrived by courier The packaging was water damaged. After quickly opening the packaging I presumed the pillows would be ok cause they were zipped in plastic bags. They weren't ok they were water marked. When I phoned customer service even though I took full responsibility they immediately sent out two replacement pillows!!!!
You can't get better service than that.

Four Seasons down and feather duvet inner
I am very impressed with both the product and service from Novadown.
The reason I specifically bought from this company is because they do NOT use the down and feathers from live geese and ducks.
The four seasons down and feather duvet I purchased is wonderfully light and warm.
This is the fourth duvet inner I have bought from Novadown, so obviously I am very, very happy with their products, great communication and excellent service.
