Also, during christmas they sent me a northern parrot pen.
Sadly while working i broke it, so I wrote in to ask for a new one. They sent me 2 completely free!

Poor experience from faulty UV light unit Purchased a UV light in Dec/Jan
Purchased a UV light in Dec/Jan and the unit’s bulb smashed and I was blamed for not installing it correctly (it wouldn’t fit on my parrot’s cage despite the product is versatile and fits most cages!)z I purchased another official branded bulb (the same item) from another pet supplier but for £10 cheaper. Then the middle plastic overheated and changed from dark grey to burnt orange where it had burnt. I contacted them with numerous photos and videos and asked for a replacement but they wouldn’t entertain this despite my protests of it being a faulty item. This www because I’d bought a bulb from somebody else but at £10 more and delivery it’s ridiculous.
I had an extremely poor experience and upon reflection recall what a massive waste of time and effort emailing back and forth. As a result of this experience I wouldn’t buy a high value from NP again. I’ve hardly ordered from them since and only during offers for something small. I’ve actually moved across to another large reputable online bird retailer), whichI believed NP was prior) because of this disappointing experience.
Also from seeing some reviews here, I can see customers have reported receiving scratched and used cages and I suspect the same happened with me, just an electrical item in this case!
8th July 2026: I contacted Northern Parrots and essentially received a reiterated reply of their original decision.
I feel these replies to messages like ‘we will look into this’ are maybe ann anttempt to improve a bean’s reputation. What a shame :(
