Positive experience across two orders

I've had nothing but a positive experience with them. I've placed two orders and both arrived within a reasonable timeframe.

I did have to chase one of the orders and followed up with a phone call. As it turned out, the item was temporarily out of stock, which actually worked out quite well for me as it gave me the opportunity to upgrade the kit to a MultiPlus II 5000VA and a Cerbo GX MK2.

In terms of getting in touch with them, I personally didn’t find it that difficult, despite what some other reviewers have mentioned.

Overall, I ordered quite a few items from them and everything arrived promptly.

Not Nice AT ALL.

We got a Thetford toilet from them. Great delivery time. But in the box we found 4 water Expansion units that were sent to us in error. I doubt that Jenny knew they were even there. So I emailed her and told her. She thanked me for my honesty (it goes against the grain to keep the stuff when it's not mine to keep) and asked me to package them up and either take them to the post office to return them (2 miles away) or wait in possibly all day for the PO to pick them up from me. Then I thought I'd actually like to fit one into my van. So Jenny said, "They are normally £31 but you can have one for £28, a discount of £3 for my honesty and all the effort of returning the others. No thanks. Knowing now what tight fisted and unappreciative people they are I will never shop there again. I've told her she can have them all back. Right now I'd rather throw them in the bin, but I'm not like them.I don't expect to be paid for honesty but I expect some reward for getting cardboard to wrap them in, sticky tape to seal it, faff about cutting the cardboard and wrapping it all in bubble wrap to protect it. Some reward would have been appreciated, but £3 discount. Come on. Avoid shopkeepers like this.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I paid in full, the main item was never delivered, and after chasing for weeks I was accused of fraud instead of getting help. This was stressful, unnecessary and entirely avoidable.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience — multiple mistakes and poor communication

I ordered around £370 worth of plumbing items on a Saturday. I noticed the company was closed over the weekend, which was understandable, but by Wednesday I still hadn’t heard anything about my order. I called to chase it up and was told they didn’t actually have the white water tank I’d ordered — despite it showing as in stock on the website. I agreed to swap it for a black one so the order could finally be sent.

The delivery arrived on Thursday, but the expansion tank was missing. When I called again, they said they had noticed and were sending it out that day — which would have been fine if they’d let me know proactively.

Then, when I unpacked everything else, I found the hose pipe was missing too. So despite waiting nearly a week, I couldn’t even start the job.

I appreciate it’s a small family business, but it’s still a business — and missing items, stock errors, and lack of communication are just basic things that need to be right. Really disappointing overall, and I wouldn’t feel confident ordering again.

I guess the Trust Pilot reviews make sense now.

I’ve bought multiple Victron products and have no hesitation recommending them!

I’ve bought multiple Victron products from these guys, both directly from their web site and also through Amazon. My latest purchase was the Victron 12v 3000va Multiplus ii which arrived very quickly and at a great price.

6 months later I needed to make a warranty claim. Whilst I share some people’s frustration with emails, Richard & Jenny have been setting up new premises and now do have a landline contact number and emails are replying to emails normally. And honestly, Richard could not have been more helpful. My warranty issue is now resolved.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for both their keen pricing, knowledge of products and their after sales service.

Items clearly not in stock after…

Items clearly not in stock after waiting 2 weeks and chasing for updates rather than being kept informed. Tracking sent after chasing for delivery but delivery was never sent to parcel force so refund eventually requested. Not a great experience and has made me have to rebook holiday time with work and rearrange an urgent trip so I would advise going elsewhere.

Not a scam

So firstly, this is a real company, not a scam as other reviews on here imply. I placed an order on Saturday and received it. Unfortunately, we realized after ordering that it was the blue range of controller not the smart-solar with built in bluetooth for monitoring, you can get a dongle but we wanted it integrated. We therefore canceled on the Sunday 24 hours after ordering but they sent it anyway on the Monday (apparently they don't work weekends). So now I have to return it which is a pain and costs money but that's life. I put the payments on hold via Klarna and they have replied to my email with a return address which is a fishing lake. Will update if there are any issues with the return but not expecting any. If you have ordered from N.L. you should get what you ordered.

Dealt with this company sporadically…

Dealt with this company sporadically over last 4 years ordering initially a large Victron MPPT controller then a 12/3000 Victron Inverter for my off grid caravan. The advice they gave was brilliant and I experienced no fault or delays. Recently ordered a Victron MPPT 75/15 to top up secondary battery from new caravan separate solar system. There was a slight delay due to stock issue but I was kept informed by Jenny @ Nomadic of this reason and new anticipated delivery date. I can’t fault the company and read some bad reviews which I believe are certainly not justified.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company unless you want to pay for goods and receive nothing. They ignore numerous emails and have no contact phone number. I will have to open a claim for refund from Klarna for goods not received and report this company as a scam.

Give this company a wide birth if you want to order something.

An absolutely terrible company to deal with as you cannot get hold of them in any other manner than email, which takes days for them to reply. I wish I had come on here and checked the reviews before I even placed my order as they held me up unnecessarily with lack of communication. They were however very happy to quickly refund my order... funny that!

How you expect to run a business without a contact telephone number is beyond me and the response when I asked why they don't have one was that they have so many requests and emails that they couldn't possibly answer a phone as well. Maybe they need to stop and think that the reason they have so many emails is because they don't have a contact telephone number!! I will give this company and extremely wide birth in future!

I appreciate I required my item in a short timeframe, however no one answered me as to the chances of that order being fulfilled. A simple phone call could have clarified this within minutes rather than days via email!

DO NOT USE

Placed an order, a few days later I attempted to contact the company to ask for an update on delivery eta.
No answer on the phone, no answer via emails, no answer via Facebook messenger, WhatsApp they replied after several hours, parcel not even sent out yet, asked for a refund as alarm bells are starting to clang. no response.
Shocking customer service, is this a scam?

Total waste of time company to deal…

Total waste of time company to deal with, never answers phone does not respond to any form of communication but bleats on about how great there customer service is. Save your hard earned money and go with a reputable seller.
