The watch is perfect and exactly as described. It's my first Nite watch. I removed two links from the metal bracelet, and it fits my 20.5 cm wrist perfectly. I'm thrilled. The service is also... See more

We are an independent British brand with a mission to create classically designed watches that can endure any outdoor passion. In 2003, our founder Roger Green pioneered the UK’s first privately owned British watch brand to feature Tritium illumination. Recognising this highly specialised technology as a key benefit for outdoor activities he set about creating a collection of classically designed watches made with the finest materials and Swiss-made movements. This passion to produce truly outstanding watches owned by a community of independently minded customers lives on today.

WASTED MY MONEY/LOOKING AT VAER C4 SERIES
Disappointed. I gave this 5 stars so my comments wont get buried...
After buying a MX10 advertised as a super strong and rugged watch worn by our special forces. I was surprised when the strap disintegrated within 8 months of normal use (not even daily wear as I have other watches and change my watches to suit)
The company didn't support me at all apart from offering me 10% off having to purchase a new strap, which I felt forced to do or else end up with a pocket watch.
Their get out clause was that a watch strap is subject to wear and tear and they didn't know how hard I had been with my watch, even although the watch is advertised as super rugged and I had explained that I only had fair use of the watch (no sas missions going on here) It's a shame as I love the watch and paid good money for it.
I also had to pay for the tool to enable me to fit the new strap I had to purchase.
I wonder if there is a problem with the straps on the MX10 as even the new strap pops off from time to time if I flex my wrist or catch the watch where the strap pins are weak or do not seat properly, making wearing the watch a cause of anxiety as I could loose the watch if it falls off my wrist and I don't notice.
Perhaps mine is a one off dud and I would hope so however I do remember reading a review which says that the straps are made of "Swiss cheese"
Come on guys I love the whole ethos of the company and supported you on the back of what you represent the best of BRITISH. I now feel I have to look elsewhere outside of the U.K. like America which make a great competitive alternative such as the VAER C4 TACTICAL FIELD WATCH SERIES. similarly priced. Of course I'd like to stay BRITISH but why would I now?
Are you going to make this right? (Exchange my watch) Or do I just put this experience down as a loss due to a great marketing campaign.
I wonder if any other customers have experience anything similar?
I would love to be able to leave this company a great review based on after sales customer service, owning and fixing a genuine problem. At the moment I will continue to shine a light on my DISAPPOINTING experience/loss...
MY REPLY TO NITE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPLY.
Thanks for the prompt reply which has earned you this 1 star, I believe your reply is an attempt at damage control. You never answer the phone allowing the customer to speak to a person, the living man/woman.
Again, in keeping, your M.O. is to double down, justifying your failings rather than honest resolutions to faulty products, unless of course the customer is forced/ willing to put their hand in their pocket and pay again for a repair to said item, which they have already paid good money for expecting a quality item fit for purpose as advertised.
Whilst waiting for your reply I had a good read through the 1 star reviews which has solidified my position.
Judging on the amount of complaints you have received due to faulty straps especially on the MX10 it is clear that you HAVE sold us a sub standard product which is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE AS ADVERTISED. It is also apparent that you double down and hide behind the clause "not covered" where most of the components of the watches you sell ARE NOT COVERED BY YOUR SO CALLED 5 YEAR GUARANTEE (perhaps you should clarify which components of the watch are actually covered on your website to avoid disappointment to the customers and save us the cost and time of sending back the watch for repair only to be told it's not covered)
This is in no way a personal attack and I truly believe you can be a great BRITISH company, fantastic products with hi demand which sell themselves. Perhaps you have factored in the fail rates into your business model, who knows.
You say you want resolution and satisfied customers, then stand on your word. I in good faith paid what you asked for my MX10. It clearly has a common fault and is not fit for purpose as advertised. Why should I have to pay more for repair or replacement parts (which I have done but still have issues).
Resolution for me would be to send you back the faulty watch and receive a new one which works as advertised. I won't hold my breath to that because reading the 1 star comments this IS a common fault which you can't put right and a replacement would probably fail in the same way.
I appreciate your attempt to do damage control perhaps you should have sent me a free replacement strap for the one that crumbled, I would of been more understanding.
That being said, I'm done, no faith in the brand now a lost lifetime customer.
It is with a sad heart I can not recommend this BRITISH BRAND.

If you want to waste your hard earned money buy a NITE watch it's that simple. Too many other better products out here to choose from.

This is the second night watch I've owned and the reason I bought the second one is my other one is more than 10 years old

Nite’s support was extremely helpful providing requested information to FedEx to clear through US customs. The response to my request for assistance was prompt and the watch was released immediately after.

I know have two Nite Hawk watches and they don't disappoint. Recently received the Nite Hawk Polar and it's definitely a statement piece. With the bracelet strap it sits well on the wrist and it's solid. Takes a knock or two without any signs of this. Would like to see certain pieces made for certain military groups (Navy Veteran) with the Navy flag etc. I know these pieces can be specially made but looking for just off the shelf. No negatives at all towards Nite. Just stunning.

Nice watch (NITE SURF), I'm really pleased with it. Not heavy, really comfortable. I'm not a diver so I suppose it's a posers watch. I have a NITE ICON which has superior luminosity, so that is the only negative comment that I have as I wear the watch fo sleeping.

I'm 72 and long sighted and I wanted a watch that I could see without glasses when I woke up in the small hours. Seiko (and Lorus) lume is impressive at first but doesn't last through long, winter nights in the north of England. Timex Lumibrite is good but with night-adjusted eyes the face was so bright it obscured the hands. The MX10 Storm, however, is perfect. The hour markers and the hands light up brightly but they're clear and well differentiated from the background, and of course they don't lose their brightness at all. I'm not a collector who can spend thousands of pounds on a watch. I'm a pensioner so I have to be careful with the pennies, but I don't begrudge paying for something that does what I need and this watch does just that.

As usual, outstanding service from the team and really quick turn around on my watch service. Amazed that the watch is still going strong after ten years of rugged use, probably even abuse.
Nice to chat with Roger in the office and even he commented on the "rugged" look of my aging Hawk.
I'd recommend the watches if you need a no frills, bombproof timepiece that you can rely on through thick and thin.

I messaged Nitewatches with my question and I was directed to what I needed straight away (rubber strap). It was a bonus that it was also reduced. In a few days from order it arrived and is exactly what I wanted.
