The entire team took all the stress away. The mechanics ensured my bike was in working order post landing. The pre course tour was excellent and the post race bike retrieval and packing saved me so much stress. Mike and everyone were wonderful.

Simply Fantastic!
Hard to express just how grateful we were to have booked with Nirvana, with regards to everything arranged by Nirvana it was flawless from start to finish, perfect & stress free, KLM’s luggage handling and the Italian Airport..not so great.
Arrived with one suitcase missing, containing everything from Tri Suit, wetsuit, trainers, cycling shoes etc, trying to get this delivered was to be honest like speaking to a brick wall with regards to the airport. Thankfully Nirvana stepped in, without their intervention (Rob) i don't believe we would have received the luggage, he went well beyond what i believe anyone else would have done, without him we would have had to have spent literally thousands on new kit & this would probably have meant no race.
The mechanics were simply outstanding as was the the support received from Mathew the Nirvana rep. If your looking to get to an event I would look no further, delighted with the service we received.

Perfect service
Perfect service. Many companies should take lessons from Nirvana. It was my first time to participate at IM and Nirvana took out all the anxieties that comes with accommodations, transportation, and trchnical support. They were always available to communicate, always proffesional, allways on time, always polite, ajf always available to answers questions. I recommend to use them.

The usual excellent service
The usual excellent service from Nirvana. When things go wrong (as they sometimes can when you're traveling to race) the Nirvana team are always there for you: whether it's fixing a broken bike, sorting things if you're ill or injured, getting you where you need to be when flights are delayed, or retrieving the luggage that you accidentally left in your hotel room.

Bike mechanic Mike was outstanding
Bike mechanic Mike was outstanding! Efficient, kind, patient, hardworking, diligent, polite, and overall wonderful.
The only drawback was that pre-trip UPS tried to pick up my bike at my home instead of the bike shop where it was disassembled - not sure how that got mixed up but fortunately my husband was home to deal with it.

I had an excellent experience with Nirvana Europe for the 2024 Ironman Wales. First off, I have never traveled overseas with my bike. Without knowing that I would have the mechanical support available in Tenby, I never would have attempted the trip. A few weeks prior to the trip, I sent a message to Nirvana Europe asking about the bike rebuild after shipping, and my contact person Callum Dyer got back to me right away and arranged a time for me at the beginning of registration. On site, Nirvana had a tent directly outside the Ironman registration tent, and Callum was there with mechanic Richard. From that point on they took care of all my needs. I was late for my bike rebuild (having difficulties sleeping) and they were flexible and got my bike taken care of in the next slot. My bike was perfect for the ride, even in better shape than it left home in. Callum was very personable and accommodating. They arranged for a pre-race talk and walk through with an experienced Ironman and announcer at the event, who was intimately familiar with Ironman Wales. The course and race advice there was invaluable, especially for helping to calm the nerves. Callum offered additional supports throughout the trip, most of which I ended up not needing, but I felt well supported and attended to. I recommend them highly. Please understand once you sign up, they are there, and once you initiate contact with your representative, they will be all about helping you.

Saviors
Matthew and his team saved my race at Ironman Italy. Their efforts at working with the race staff to get me a delayed check in and to help me get my bike assembled after it had been lost in transit allowed me to toe the line on target and on time. The lodging at Club Hotel Dante was ideal for it’s proximity to the venue and the Nirvana staff and Dante staff did a bang up job.

Sad and disappointed
After years traveling all around the world and hiring different companies to help with the travel related to IRONMAN events, Nirvana has been the worst by far.
The Nirvana Experience didn’t exist at all. They just send me a few emails before the event and during the whole week that I started in Kalmar, I hadn’t any contact from the Nirvana Staff.
They did not care at all about any needs I may have and did not reach out or contact me to ask if I might need anything.
I went, payed for my accommodation and had the same in return as if I had organized my trip by myself.
No information from them, no contact from them and no interest from them means no Nirvana Experience at all.
I feel very sad and disappointed.

Great North Run. Poor organisation.
I've used Nirvana Europe 4 times to get to/from The Great North Run. The first two were fine. Last year was poor. The first problem was that the pick-up point was outside a hotel that had been demolished! Fine if you're a local who knows the area but for most of us, this was hard to find. The worst problem however, was taking 6 hours to get out of the car park on the return journey. I put this down to unfavourable weather mainly but the truth was that we left 2 hours later than scheduled because we were waiting for people who were sat in the pub. The selfish people even brought takeaways to eat on the bus when they finally turned up. Whilst this wasn't Nirvana's fault, they had no process for contacting missing people nor leaving after a specified time. Had we left on time, we would not have been stuck in traffic.
I foolishly used Nirvana Europe again for this year's Great North Run and find a repeat performance. Aside from the bus smelling of urine, they have not learned from previous years errors and its just approaching 2 hours after scheduled departure and again we've not left the car park. There is no sign of us doing so.
There are better options for the Great North Run. I'm guessing the same is true for other events too. I won't be using them again.
Ironman Frankfurt
Every triathlete invests a lot of time and money in preparing for an Ironman race. When the race weekend finally arrives, the nerves of many are skyrocketing... Moreover, I always had the feeling that something was missing. Recently I discovered that missing link... Nirvana... Granted, there's a price to pay but it is value for money. Knowing that you can rely on the Nirvana professionals, not only relieves you of your nerves but takes your race to a completely different experience level. Thank you Matt & Sam for taking care of me! Hope to see you again!

I agree with some of the comments that the IM website is a bit deceptive and makes you think you have to book through Nirvana. However, I think the entire value was realized during several key points where I needed help and everything was handled so well by Chris in Zell am See. Some things I would suggest for the company that would encourage me to use them again in the future: Make all of the value add and package breakdowns more clear, don't bury details in the emails around what has/has not been selected (we get inundated with information and are training/tired/busy, top line in bold i.e. "you don't have a bike rented/transport/etc), and *please* make the hotel block all the athletes together - being next to families with young children running in the halls late at night and smokers next door having that come in through the balcony door was pretty crummy and I think could have been avoided if the group was more consolidated in our own section.

Nirvana is expensive?
My triathlon friends think that using Nirvana is expensive. In my view you get what you pay for. For my trip to IM Copenhagen I couldn’t be happier with the support provided by Harvey, Rob and Callum. They were responsive, supportive and extremely enthusiastic. They also looked after my support crew (Mrs Gibbs) very well and went above and beyond. I have used Nirvana 4 times for overseas races and never had less than a 5 star service so I would highly recommend them.

Never racing without Nirvana again
I will never do an Ironman race without Nirvana again. They took all the stress out of the process - all the way from scheduling my trip, to bike logistics, to even meeting me at the finish line to give me my gear bag so that I could catch my appointment to leave town. Absolutely incredible experience and worth the money!

The entire Nirvana Team - on this occasion led by Steph at the Newcastle Office for the booking, Harvey for the coordination in Copenhagen and Nick for the technical work on the bike - were first class throughout.
This is an organisation that cares deeply about service and it's reflected in the sensibility of all of it's Team. I chair a business that is one of the largest private sector employers in the North East so I am reasonably attuned to make a judgement on an organisation. My view is that Nirvana is first class.
I'm looking forward to travelling with them again to IRONMAN Portugal in October.
