Been using the System 2 | Natural Hair, Progressed Thinning 3-step treatment system for over a month. Haven't noticed any changes in hair strength and hair continues to fall out. This stuff hasn't improved anything and I've tried to be patient. But with continuous hairs falling out and scalp has been irritated past few days, I am going to stop using this.

These products are extremely harsh on both hair and skin, containing a range of aggressive chemicals and potential irritants. I recently discovered that Nioxin products were triggering my eczema. Since discontinuing use, my skin has completely cleared. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Nioxin products.

Use it once and my hair fell out I got bald spots and my scalp is burning and dry! Don’t use this crap!! I so upset. My hair looks like crap ! This crap should be off the market

I have been using Nioxin 3 shampoo and conditioner for many years and had no problem at all. I only use the shampoo once a week because it’s a detoxifier. I’ve noticed that the newly packaged conditioner texture is different. It’s not as creamy, smells stronger and it’s making my head itch. Why do they change things that work for people. I ordered the old version from Amazon and received the new one which was disappointing. So I have non of the original and will have to try new shampoos and conditioners which is a mine field and very expensive. Come on Nioxin sort it!

I bought the starter pack a few months ago and whilst the shampoo really does cleanse your scalp and hair, it also completely dries it out. Almost instantly when I put the shampoo on I could feel my hair dry, even when it was wet! Safe to say when I dried my hair it was a frizz ball and it had completely snapped and burned my hair and I had to get most of it chopped of because of the damage it done. Since then I've continued to use the conditioner only but I'm now planning to grow my hair out and get rid of the blonde to try and repair my hair from the awful state that it has been left in by shampoo!

Nioxin initially helped the bald spots I had. However, I got more bald spots while using it, and my hair continued to fall out throughout the time I used it. My hair became so dry even though I only used the shampoo and left the conditioner on for 5 minutes, not using heat on my hair. My hair has been breaking and falling out. My scalp itches terribly because of the Nioxin. I am changing shampoos because I can't take it anymore!

My hairdresser recommended Nioxin 3 - Coloured Light-Thinning hair. I administered as per instructions. I noticed no change to thickness or hair loss. My hairdresser suggested I keep going with it. Still no change weeks later. I contacted Wella Global Consumer Relations about the money back claim; they apparently chased the Wella Professional Team, to no avail. Eventually, I was provided with the free hotline number +44 (0) 2039011163. I was informed the, 'money back guarantee' ended last October ... I suggested it might be a good idea if Wella notify all stockists. (The operative assured me that Wella would get in touch with my particular salon about the claim.) I added it might be helpful to take a more global approach to retract this sales statement, as it is now untrue, and therefore, misleading to the consumer.

I bought the new ultimate power anti-loss shampoo. Been trying to grow my hair into a short bob, for my daughters wedding, It can be used daily, after just 2-3 weeks, my already very fine hair has broken everywhere, especially at my hairline and fringe, it is worse than ever and as my hair doesn,t grow fast it will take forever to regrow, I am worried it may have caused irreversible damage, time will tell. I'm surprised, as I trusted Nioxin products and have used them before, but this has been horrific. I may need to get my hair cut short. Would not recommend this shampoo.

I have experienced a severe allergic reaction due to the SLS in the shampoo- I’ve emailed Wella but had no response. My hands and scalp were covered in sores which are still healing. I’ve changed to another brand and slowly getting better. It’s strange as I used the small bottles first but when I bought the larger I experienced this bad reaction- be careful please

Bought on Amazon so a lot cheaper than the price I originally saw this product at. Used a bottle and a half, over twelve months, my is now scalp is so dry and sore and no hair growth to speak of at all. Just poured rest of bottle down the sink

So glad I didn’t spend the full $90 on the Nioxin 4 shampoo, conditioner, and ‘treatment’ pack. Even paying $35 wasn’t worth it. My hair had never felt so dry after using this shampoo. The conditioner is watery (I ended up washing it out and applying an alternative), and the treatment.. well what a sad excuse for a hair treatment. It’s like a scentless, watered down foaming hand soap. Had to use alternative hair treatments to restore my hair after these products. Giving it a two star because at least my hair didn’t fall out, or give me an allergic reaction

Disgusted! I purchased the nioxin diaboost product due to thinning hair. Gave it a good go but noticed it was not making a difference at all! I then contacted Wella/Nioxin regarding the so called money back guarantee, I filled in all the forms and went down the correct route only to be ignored for months now and have never been given a call or email back when promised! I even wrote to wella to say I wanted to put in a formal complaint but again, yet to recieve a reply! The customer service is awful!

Been using nioxin 4 for about a month and a bit. Hair fallout was substantial but new growth is coming in now still with a good amount of fall out. This past week though I've been feeling strange cold and numb feelings in my face and arms, with periods of flushing and redness in my face and torso accompanied by the occasional dizzy spell and nausea. I did a bit of digging and these are all side effects of over absorption of the medication. I am going to have to limit my use of the product as it does seem to be working, but at a cost. Be careful using this product. This week has been a doozy feeling generally unwell.

Spent a fortune on this stuff
Kept persistent with it for 8 months because I was desperately wanting a solution for my menapause thinning hair
But after initial shedding which apparently is normal I waited for a change but it’s gotten worse and worse
And now my hair is thinner and dry and
I have to get it cut short to maybe help it get some strength to it which is not what I wanted
Please don’t waste your money or time waiting for lush locks because it won’t happen !!

Made the hair fall worse. Bought the big bottle and despite using them for months it actually made the hair fall worse and never noted this excessive hair in the shower before. Also makes the scalp tender.

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for over a year. My hair fell out in clumps and broke off! My drain trap was FULL. All my hairs are now a different length, dry and frizzy. Not sure why I kept using it. I ran out and used an old shampoo I had on hand and could not believe how many fewer strands of hair fell out.

I have been using the shampoo, conditioner and hair foam leave in and I have noticed a major difference in my hair. I had been losing my hair on both sides of my head from wearing it up all the time, and I can honestly say the left side of my head looks like majority of hair started growing back and the right side still is not as full as I'd like, bit can notice a big difference.. hair feels and looks thicker and shine and body is great. Recommend this to everyone I know. Yes jts alittle costly, but last long and works great!!!

Used Nioxin system 2 for non treated hair and now after 2 months seeing results. Less breakage and slightly thicker hair. Scalp is less itchy and hair soft. Nature hair colour is amazing!!!! Doing everything to keep my long hair in good condition even after lve hit 70! Definitely recommend and will continue to use.

I would tell people to stay away from this product. My hair fell out like mad and has never been so thin.
I believe it is dangerous. Full of chemicals and should not be on the market. Beware!
