Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 159 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently complained about extremely frustrating login processes and overly complicated security verification procedures that made account access nearly impossible for many users. Reviewers also reported that the digital platform frequently crashed without warning, failed to load correctly, or completely lacked essential medical records and appointment details. However, some people mentioned that when the application actually worked properly, it offered a reasonable, useful, and improving way to contact healthcare providers. Consumers noted that managing online appointments and communicating directly with medical staff was beneficial once initial technical hurdles were successfully overcome.

NHS is useless

This is the message from the NHS
you have not chosen your clinic please login and choose as you have been referred by Dr Etc

So login check my referral page and it says you have not chosen your clinic
So next page you only have one option the clinics name. Okay I’ll choose that one then… but there is no option to choose the only clinic I can have.

Then call the surgery to see if they can help and I’m number one in the queue for 45 minutes and no one answers
Useless app and a waste of a morning

Shame you can't give no stars

Shame you can't give no stars. An app that is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. It is total garbage and just like large swathes of the NHS is a total busted flush. Doesn't work. You go through endless reams of security and still can't access what information need to or book the appointment you need. Mind you if you actually do get an appointment the chances of getting any meaningful help are so small it's not worth trying.

Its almost like the NHS does not want…

Its almost like the NHS does not want you to access your own information. All i wanted to do was check my next appointment for my blood test result and i get asked to do annoying things like provide photo ID etc when signing up to the NHS app, which was kinda shocking.I know this is all for patient security but is still flaming frustrating, especially if you do not have a lot of free time.
They will be asking for finger print and retina verification as the next step for security lol.

Worra load a shite

I really wish it would allow me to leave no stars
Every week for months now I get a text saying get in touch with the surgery,
I arrive at the surgery and no body in the whole practice has a clue what I am talking about
It is really scary especially if you have recently had test for cancer diabetes ulcers seizures
It is terrifying, the practice doesn't care
No money in it
I've uninstalled the app I would rather die of ignorance than total panic thanks for nothing NHS and bousefield

Problem with accepting photo ID

Downloaded the app and got to the point where you have to provide photo ID to go any further. Despite taking a pinpoint clear photo of a driving licence, it came up with the error message saying there was a problem with the photo. Tried five times with the same result. As such I can not use the app to get prescriptions so will tell my Doctors to carry on using paper copies. A complete waste of time and effort.

WORST APP BY FAR

I use hundreds of applications. The NHS app is the worst, by far.
Wrong information, no Information, repeated login problems. Given the importance of the information delivered by this app, it is not only incompetent and frustrating, but it is also dangerous
Just look at Amazon, for example. It's a vast, hugely complicated organisation, the app works like a dream, silky smooth and a doddle to navigate
Be like Amazon NHS

NHS app lets carers down

I am a carer for my parents. I dont live with them and have a different GP surgery. Although I added them to my NHS app I cant use it to see their test results or makeappointments for them. WHY THE HELL NOT??????? Took one parent to an urgent hospital appointment this week and got told off by the consultant because I could not see their blood test results on the app. Even NHS staff dont understand the limitations of the app. You can only connect accounts of people at the same GP surgery.

Missing annd incomplete/incorrect…

Missing annd incomplete/incorrect information and a completely pointless waste of money that could have been spent elsewhere.
When I get my degree in website analysis I’ll come back and have another go but God help anyone a bit doddery or unable to use a computer/phone.

NHS app😩

Having registered an NHS app, I tried to get in only to be told my password is wrong when it is written down in front of me! Carried on to have to put new password in which I did, it then tells me that after all my details that I have an account so I continue with all my details again with my new password, to which I was told again I already have an account, that after being told that my details were wrong when put them in at first! What a run around to get nowhere, once again I abandoned this silly app, can visit Drs quicker than doing this.

Registering for an NHS Login is Virtually Impossible!

During her pregnancy 6 years ago, my wife developed gestational diabetes. Whilst this appeared to have gone away once our daughter was born, she is still required to have blood tests to check that the diabetes has not returned.
Yesterday she received a text requesting that she make an appointment for a blood test.
However, in order to have the appointment confirmed, she needed to register for an NHS Login.
Despite providing details such as NHS number; copy of British passport (only issued 3 years ago) and a picture of her face on their app, her application has been rejected.
Either the app is not fit for purpose, or the process is designed tp prevent British Taxpayers from accessing NHS Services.
She can get a new passport, but she can't get a blood test appointment confirmed.
ABSOLUTELY DIABOLICAL!

I had the original GP app on my mobile…

I had the original GP app on my mobile i went to reorder my prescription and the experienced being run around, I have tried numerous times to gain access to the new system with total failure. So today i presented a paper prescription at reception, I told the receptionist my problem and she then gave me a fistful of papers to fill out I have to confirm who i am but i am already in the system this is crazy ? My experience so far has not been a good one, no doubt i will be going backwards and forward to see the receptionist trying to gain access, Why change a system that worked into a Frankenstein that doesn't ? those nerds have so much to answer for.
