I left a one star review because they ripped me off, then they leave a reply saying they have never heard of me lol quick enough to Steel my deposit

The worst experiance ever ripped me off with my holding deposit even after telling them every thing

Took my deposit after I explained about a ccj then rejected my application because of a ccj and refused to refund deposit!
Disgusting

The worst agency I’ve had to deal with in my life, they tell you one thing over the phone and once you see them in person they act deaf and dumb. Very poor management and the worst customer service ever! They are here to rip you off and to stand with slum landlords! Avoid at all costs!!!!!

I would NOT recommend using Newton King estate agents as prospective tenants. Not once, but TWICE did they give a property away that we either had placed a holding deposit down on, or one that we had 'first refusal' on. Aside from it being down to the landlord's discretion as to who they choose as their tenants, the way in which they worded their emails made it sound as though we were the only option. And I quote:

'This will be available from the end of the month to the start of next so I thought I would mention it with you both having first refusal before listing'

Little did we know 3 other applicants had been in the process as well, so we lost out on that property when they already had the deposit in their posession, we had accepted the tenancy conditions, and had NOT refused the property. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
