Beautiful Redina Tili Paintings

As a customer of Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art for several years, I wanted to let you know about two beautiful paintings by renowned artist Redina Tili. 'Redscape' and 'Blue Mountain' pair wonderfully together and are available at Newport Brushstrokes.

Thank You for the Dynamic Artwork

I couldn't be happier with my masterful and striking Marine Corps War Memorial by Blend Cota. The bright dynamic colors carry with it in a unique work of art that signifies the nation's gratitude to Marines and those that fought beside them. My collection also includes the unique artistry shown in NYC Taxi by Blend Cota. Both pieces look great in my home. Everyone should consider adding a piece by this extraordinary artist.
Thank you Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc for making it happen.

Great Memories

I spent some of the happiest years of my life living on the side of a mountain with the man I loved. Two years ago he suddenly past away. his daughter was not a very nice person and gave me two months to move out of what I had considered my forever home. I had some great photos of the property and decided to have one of them painted on canvas so I could forever enjoy the memories. I call it "My View From the Back Deck". We would sit for hours watching so many different varieties of wild ie. The painting is a beautiful rendition of the photo. I|will cherish it forever. Great job Newport Brushstrokes.

I am exhilarated about my recent…

I am exhilarated about my recent purchases as a client of Newport Brushstrokes Inc of 2 paintings by the extremely talented, passionate and gracious artist Blend Cota of Assassins Creed characters “Yasuke the Warrior” and “Conner Kenway”. Each piece is stunning as well as beautifully and uniquely framed maximizing their presentation and appeal. My whole family appreciates the paintings because they are vibrant, colorful and detailed depictions of each character. I am not familiar with the Assassins Creed game but can appreciate each painting as much as my son and granddaughter who have played the game because of the passion reflected in each piece. Since I have obtained these my son has become interested in Blend Cota and follows him on Instagram. I feel that I received first class treatment from Nigel Goddard and Drew Carrett during the purchase of these pieces as demonstrated by the fact they persuaded Blend Cota to provide me the ultimate joy of personal video messages explaining each character and spontaneously sketching an image on the reverse side of each painting. This is indicative of Nigel’s, Drew’s and Newport Brushstrokes’ commitment to and professional relationships with both artists and clients. I would not hesitate to recommend Newport Brushstrokes and their staff to anyone interested in enriching their lives through art!!!!

Beware of 'promises' from this company!!!

The company made me sign up for a substantial enough fee and promised me they would sell at least 5 of my paintings within 2-3 weeks. It is now 3+ months later and NOT ONE painting was sold. They told me I need to lower my prices!!!
Well, they already were lowered. And I managed to sell 4 other of my paintings on my own at a more fair price. BUT THEY STILL KEPT ON CHARGING ME THE MONTHLY FEE!

This Company Scams Older Individuals

BUYER BE AWARE!! My dad has been a victim of fraud from this company in Canada. He has purchased art since the early 2000s from Newport Brushstrokes in the plan that they would resell them on their marketplace platform for much more and it would be a profitable investment for his retirement.

He currently has 20 paintings and they have only helped him sell THREE! The last one they helped him sell was in 2003. The salesmen keep calling and talking him into buying more because "You can sell them for more as a set," and that he could easily resell them and use them as a good investment.

My dad’s hope was to be able to resell this art to help cover his retirement. He retired over 5 years ago and hasn’t been able to recoup even 1/4 of what he put into them.

I called the company asking questions as a potential customer and they are very secretive. I asked questions about how quickly is their artwork sold on the marketplace for a return on investment and they wouldn't tell me. Then they refused to tell me who the owner of the business was.

Newport Brushstrokes is a shady company. I would never suggest anyone does business with them.

After an earlier review, the salesman was quick to call me. However, they wanted my dad to buy 'another' painting to make a set. Then they could sell a group of them. Same game as before. I told him that my dad doesn't have the funds to buy another but we would gladly sell all the others. They said they would call me back and didn't. Not surprisingly Charles Barr told me he didn't call me back to follow up because he knew I wouldn't be happy with what he needed to say. What in the world?! Then he blamed another salesman, Jonathon Wells, who still hasn't done a thing to help us sell the art. Who does business like that? They are totally unprofessional and it is a SCAM through and through!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Let everyone know what crooks they are.

I have been clear with every salesman there that they are to only contact me with any future correspondence. Last week Andrew/Drew called my dad saying he 'knows he has ground to make up, but he thinks he can.' This is Andrew's way of trying to get my dad to buy more and get scammed again!

UPDATE: Newport, if you read my review you would see I clearly stated my dad was a customer, not me. I am assisting him with finances as he is older and needing more assistance in this area. Your response holds zero value, the same as your paintings. You continue to hide with your reply behind a curtain of lies and deceit.

I was able to contact a real art dealer in my area who appraised the paintings and checked verifiable art auctions and found they are only worth a couple of hundred dollars.

As I have been told by previous salesmen when I have talked to them, Newport did buy or merge with another company who started the scam in the early 2000’s. You became Newport Brushstrokes in and around 2011-2013 sometime, clearly showing that he purchased 12 of the 20 paintings from you. Since the name change, NONE of which have been sold. The company under a previous name at least sold 3 of the 20. You guys haven’t done anything in over 10 years, but continue to call him trying to get him to purchase more paintings.

I have been in contact with other customers who have been scammed and we are gaining traction to stop your corrupt company. We will continue to fight this and are working to take legal action. I will not back down and allow you to scam others out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

MARISSA ROBINSON HAS NEVER PURCHASED ANY ART FROM NEWPORT BRUSHSTROKES FINE ART. OUR RECORDS DO NOT SHOW ANY ORDER HAING BEEN PLACED GOING BACK TO 2013. THIS IS A MISLEADING REVIEW THAT SHOULD NOT BE USED AS A BUYING GUIDE.
We at Newport Brushstrokes became SUSPICIOUS OF THIS REVIEW because Marissa Robinson states that 20 paintings were purchased from Newport Brushstrokes, claiming that we sold the last one in 2003, eleven years before we existed. This is a CLEAR EXAMPLE OF MISINFORMATION as Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc. has existed since 2013. Marissa Robinson mentions that Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc has sold 3 paintings of the 20 that have been purchased. Why we say this is misleading is due to the verifiable fact that Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc did not exist in 2003. FURTHERMORE, ANOTHER REVIEW HAS FAILED TO SHOW ANY ART PURCHASES. IF SOMEBODY HAD CONTACTED MARISSA ROBINSON, IT WAS NOT FROM NEWPORT BRUSHSTROKES FINE ART. THIS REVIEW IS AN OBVIOUS AND ATTEMPT AT BRAND SABOTAGE.

This post will be flagged for its litany of misleading and error laden statements.

To those who are interested in learning about the good service that Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc. provides, simply become a client.

What we do know is that competitors, or disgruntled ex-independent contractors, who are seeking to damage a brand, often populate online social media with negative reviews on various platforms.

VERY Shady Business

(6/3/24 I had to rewrite my review and exclude names.)
Matt Skaret on Sep 6, 2023 wrote a one star review on Trustpilot, and his story is a parallel of mine. A few minor details is the only difference. There are lots of promises by the owner (I cannot put his name in this review), who also goes by another name, if it suits him, and Charles Barr for of lots of money to be made, but none of it every comes to be. There is the same excuses- COVID, divorces, the wrong amount was paid in British Pounds instead of USD....etc.
Tariff's were charged for sales of paintings that never got sold and the tariff was not returned after repeatedly asking for it. I finally contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge, but they won't honor the fact that I never sold the paintings.
Buyer Beware!

Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc has learned that Mr. French and Mr. Barr collaborated with each other on an arrangement. Apparently, Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc was kept out of the loop. It seems clear that Mr. French has an issue with Mr. Barr's management of his art collection that Mr. French willingly aquired. What these two gentlemen agreed to, in the absence of council from Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc, means that Mr. French and Mr. Barr are the only parties responsible of the risks both gentlemen willingly agreed to take.

NEWPORT BRUSHSTROKES FINE ART CAN PROVIDE RELATED SERVICES . ANY OUTCOME OF EXOTIC, HIGLY COMPLEX, OR HIGH RISK LADEN ARRANGEMENTS BETWEEN MR. FRENCH AND MR. BARR WAS BETWEEN THEM ONLY. ANY QUARREL OVER OUTCOME OF AN AGREED UPON VENTURE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MR. FRENCH AND MR. BARR ONLY. NEWPORT BRUSHSTROKES FINE ART PROVIDED 4 STAR SERVICE. IF MR. FRENCH IS NOT SATISFIED WITH MR. BARR'S MANAGEMENT OF ART ASSETS, THE ONE STAR RATING SHOULD GO TO MR. BARR, AND NOT NEWPORT BRUSHSTROKES.

Newport Brushstrokes is willing to allocate time to help Mr. French manage his art collection in a manner that is sure to give him satisfaction, and rebuild trust over time. Mr. French should avail himself of our new team of employees. Mr. French, call us anytime. Working together benefit's us all. As owner of the art, Mr. French is free to work with any one at any firm of his choosing.

This appears to be a VERY SHADY…

This appears to be a VERY SHADY company! We have had two dealings with them, both times left high and dry. The second time the salesman, Charles Barr, guaranteed in writing that my folks would be reimbursed for the full cost of their investment if in any way the deal did not come to fruition.

Charles guaranteed the "deal" would be completed in 60-90 days. However, after 18 months the "deal" still has not come to fruition and it appears we are no closer to a resolution. This second go around with this company they even went through the motions like there was a deal such as making my parents pay tariffs for the shipping of the art to the new owners. At least 3 schedules for payment and shipping were made. All have been broken. There was always an excuse that was never Newport's fault-having trouble lining up shipping, the bank converted the currency into pounds instead of dollars, etc. They even tried to scam my parents out of an additional $5,000 in extra tariffs, but fortunately they didn't fall for that one.

More recently, the excuses have been the crypto currency crash and paintings held up at customs in France due to the Ukraine War. We were also informed that the "deal" referenced above never existed. They said the brokers got "giddy", "greedy", and "ahead of themselves." The claim of "free refunds any time" is also bogus because they will not refund us on the paintings we bought.

The scheme this company uses is they entice people to buy a painting(s) and promises to sell the painting(s) as a set for a big and quick return on the investment. The problem is the "deal" never happens and the buyer is stuck with a overpriced painting(s) and an empty bank account.

We have learned of other people who have also been victims of this company and been in communication with some of them. All have similar stories.

We have continued to learn more about this company. It is clear that few, if any, of their deals ever go through. It is also clear that they prey on retired or soon to be retired Americans.

They are great talkers though. The exception was when Charles Barr yelled and cussed me out on the phone and then hung up. Drew, the customer service agent promptly called me back to apologize as he and the secretary heard him yelling and swearing at me in the other room. Drew seems like a fine man though, always returns calls and calls when he says he will. That is all nice, but it still hasn't gotten us any closer to resolving this matter. Moreover, he appears to just be stringing us along and spinning for Newport Brushstrokes. There is always a "big day" or "big announcement" coming, but nothing ever happens and its only talk.

We remain hopeful that this matter can be resolved, but after 18 months of broken promises and shenanigans it is hard to be optimistic. I will update though if it is.

These people are very smooth in their sales pitch. It is too bad they can't put their time and talents into something legitimate and positive.

JUST SAY "NO" TO THIS COMPANY!
