I ordered a netball net with next-day delivery, which I paid a significant amount for. However, only part of the item arrived. After calling customer service, I was informed that the rest of the item was on its way and should arrive today. Unfortunately, no additional items were delivered. I will not be buying from this company again.

★☆☆☆☆ Appalling customer service – missing goods and repeated messages ignored

Absolutely dreadful customer service from Net World Sports.

I placed an order on 8 August for a football goal and a ball pump. The goal arrived, but the pump I paid for was missing.

Mistakes happen, and initially this would have been a very minor issue. What is completely unacceptable is how the company has dealt with it since.

I emailed them on 17 August to report the missing item. No response.

I then contacted them through Facebook Messenger on 18, 19, 20, 23 and 26 August, repeatedly explaining that the item had never arrived and eventually asking for my money back.

Ignored. No item. No refund.

It is now 1 September. They have had my money since 8 August for goods they haven’t supplied, despite being given numerous opportunities to put it right.

The pump itself was only £4.99, which almost makes their behaviour worse. A reputable company could have resolved this in minutes. Instead, I have had to chase them six separate times simply to obtain a refund for something they never delivered.

Customer service isn’t demonstrated when an order goes perfectly; it’s demonstrated by how a company behaves when something goes wrong. On my experience, Net World Sports’ response has been abysmal.

I’ve now had to make a formal complaint and invoke my consumer rights simply to try to recover £4.99.

Would I order from Net World Sports again? Absolutely not.

If you’re considering ordering, my experience is simple: the problem wasn’t that an item went missing — the problem was being repeatedly ignored when I tried to get it resolved.

Absolutely terrible!!!! Ordered and paid for next day delivery - payment taken but product not received. I had to phone 5 days later and was told product not in stock and would need to arrange to cancel order. This was for my son’s birthday- I am outraged and would not order again.

Delivery was poor, item was left on door step. claimed i signed for it, I did not. DHL telling lies again.

Really happy with the FORZA 8 x 6 PVC goal. It’s an excellent size, feels sturdy and was generally very easy to put together.

The only issue I had was that a few of the holes didn’t quite line up/reach properly for the clips to attach. I had to file a small amount of the PVC away around a couple of the holes to get the clips to fit correctly. It wasn’t a major job and once done, everything fitted together well.

Overall, it’s a really good goal and I’m happy with the purchase. It would definitely have been 5 stars if I hadn’t needed to make those small adjustments myself.
