Minus 5 stars absolutely impossible to use

As a first time pregnant woman who is seeking information and help in finding local classes this is the worst website possible, not only is it impossible to navigate or understand what’s going on it bombards you with a ton of adds and pop ups, there is no possible way of booking a class or finding the information of how it where to book the class. This website has caused me so much stress trying to navigate I have given up hope, again to feel lost and confused. The worst part is that every link on the NHS website for antenatal classes ends up leading to this nightmare of a site.

Their website listing function does not work. I've tried several times to list details of my classes and to update outdated information that the NHS uses and I cannot create new listings, as the 'Create Listing' button does not work, nor can I update the information.

Wouldn't even give it ONE STAR

Wouldn't even give it ONE STAR!
Diabolical, firstly I tried to register 5x and it just went straight back to the start... but I guarantee I'll be receiving spam emails. Secondly you literally can't touch anything on the page without it taking you to an advert etc.
So I have read it has people running the page for free whilst the "owners" benefit from profits?
If this was my website lol I wouldn't admit it or tell anyone to take a look.. it's fing horrendous. It's like a secondary school child git shown the basic of setting a website up. It's embarrassing such a shame.. I think actually a child could do better and be more helpful in this case! They have set it up Purley to profit from the advertising, they are advertising everything and anything lol.. there much better out there

WORST NEWS SORCE EVER

Its just spam at this point. They repost the same stuff over and over again only with different titles. And they are always behind on all the news. Just useless and a waste of time reading anything they post.

Spam Spam and more Spam

Rubbish! Full of adverts and they send 10 emails a day. It's impossible to delete your accounts and they refuse to remove previous posts you have made. I'm sure this goes against my privacy rights!

I'm a long term advertiser

I'm a long term advertiser. Years ago it was fab but they got greedy.

As well as all the usual paid listing they started using an external feed of popups which now swamp the site. The result is it's unusable - especially on a desktop.

I also find the site one of the most ugliest web experiences ever. Obviously as a user it bothers me but more so as an advertiser because I want to be sure customers are getting a good experience if I'm paying to advertise on a website.

The update in March is the straw that broke the camels back. They updated the way local listings are shown so that the search is now based on postcode rather than local area. Advertising hasn't been the same since. I monitor how much work I get from Netmums and the stats show a huge decrease since the changes. One of the main issues is that the box to type your post code isn't big enough so customers aren't using it how it's supposed to be used.

I've been over all this with customer service many times over the last year but the bunch in head office are standoffish and unhelpful.

Most of my colleagues have stopped advertising with Netmums because of the detrimental changes, the bombardment of banner ads and the attitude of the staff. They simply do not care.

I'm completely done with Netmums and if they carry on the way they're going they'll lose advertisers as well as site visitors.

Peddling consumerism & harmful views

It’s just peddling consumerism & sensationalised stigmatisated tabloid media hype. e.g; look what they are wearing, you can dress your kids like this too! this is the latest must have toy...
The forums are unregulated and largely perpetuate very harmful views, e.g; “how do I get domestic abuse charges dropped, rape culture doesnt exist, is calling people gay homophobic, what does LGBT mean, Golly wogs are not racist, do we need sex education, am I pregnant, where can I buy prescription fertility drugs online, I found illegal drugs in the babies changing bag, my child only eats chicken nuggets, is my partner cheating, What do you think of this drama at the school gates.

It’s where you go if you want to have these conversations ..... it’s Jeremy Kyle meets the stooges.

Don't trust their reviews

recently reviewed a handful of mother and toddlers groups. There were two particular classes that I didn't enjoy parts of abd stated so, I think from memory I gave the class a 3 star as it wasn't all bad.

I was stunned this evening to receive an email saying my review was removed as the class owner had challenged. My review was fair, honest and factual. I explained the content of the class trust and what aspects I enjoyed. I now know why all the reviews are 5 stars for the class. Netmums doesn't print reviews that don't gloat about classes. Do not trust this site for reviews!!!!!
