Used their services few years ago-
Initially -lots of promises made by manager.???
Once initial payment done -constant issues with never getting things right the 1st time-& constantly having to hold their hands every step of the way. Resulted in spoonfeeding these ‘specialised technicians.’
I basically had to provide everything myself and was charged exorbitant fees -however continued as kept hoping for improvement.Nothing!

After eventually finishing the webpage & a cost of around £3000-£4000 -There was continuous glitches which they ‘were unable to explain or fix ‘unless a fee was paid.

Following this -I was unable to use and left the country-1year but kept in touch re-sorting issues.
On return tried to re-establish website -they 1st quoted another fee to re-establish then said that were unable to ‘find’the web site they initially made & the fee would be double initial cost.

Never use them -shoddy work & shoddy behaviour.

Lots of false promises with constant waste of time trying to get management to fix /resolve as there never appears to be one person dealing with the webpage or being held accountable.

.Please Please Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHAT SO EVER. NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE, DO NOT USE THEM. I regret so much using THEM. This company has taken £5000 to build my website. from OCTOBER 2016 to AUGUST 2017 when the website was delivered.
Do the Math. This is a record breaking. They should appear on Guinness book of record for the less reliable developer ever.

• It took neotericuk almost 1 YEAR to finish the site and still, the website looked very bad. At the end, I have added another £2000 to have someone else repair the damages.

• My experience was like going to a plastic surgeon. I entered with minor defections and I came out looking like a gorilla, Or another example, I gave money to a car builder asking to build me a Rolls Royce and I end up with a Corsa.
• The down side and upsetting part is that I paid for a Rolls Royce car. Do not take me wrong, I like Corsa cars, my first car was a Corsa.

• The worst part is that they do not communicate with each other. No one knows what the other does. they do not have a central emails facility where everybody can login and view a project. If they were sharing information, it would have been okay.

• The sale agent who generate the price for the project left neotericuk 2 months after sending me the invoice.
• I had a project manager who took over the project. from November 16 to April 2017 he resigned.
• When I asked to speak to my project manager, the company kept telling me that he had an emergency and had to go back to his country. Every time I asked when he was due back, they kept lying to me. Note that during that entire time, my project was on standby. At the end i figured out that he was gone.

• A second new project manager was appointed. i asked to have my last project manager emails exchanged with me reviewed, so that the new project manager could see what was said or planned for my project.
• I was told that the emails of my last project manager were considered missing or lost, because no one knew his password.
• At that, I asked neotericuk: Are you suggesting that all work done and projects he was working on, during his time at neotericuk are lost or will not go ahead?
• They refused to give me an answer. They knew that it did not make sense. Rubbish all lies and lies

• After a tough time, I tried to push for my website to be looked into. I gathered some information and gave them to the new project manage to keep the project going. I was happy because we got the project under way.
• Unfortunately, true to their reputation, things started to go wrong again. I was forced to hire a lawyer to get the project moving. Yes, a lawyer in addition to the £5000 I already spent. I will love to challenge anyone who will say that they will stay composed and will not lose their sanity going through what I went through.
• This is how they drove me to madness. They kept giving me excuses or did not respond to my calls.
• I though at the end i was going to be send to a mental institute. I was that close.
• After all the effort I made to have the project back on track, guess what happened. 2 months into the project, the second project manager left. At one point I thought i was the reason why they were leaving. But I learnt that they were not satisfy with the company and how things inside neotericuk. were dis-functional. No, it wasn’t me and I was relieved.
• When I threaten to expose them and wrote a review on Trustpilot, they bullied me and asked me to remove my review. If I did not comply, they will stop developing my site. I had to re-draw my review in fear of losing my site.
• As soon as the website was deemed finished, i took it away from them. At that time, i still had 1-year free hosting contract. I could not wait to remove my website from their platform.

• Today I have decided to take them to court for assorted reasons.
• missing features, overpricing work which have not been done and many more things that happened.

• I will welcome anyone who want to support me in my quest to take these people to court. They need to be exposed and they need to be stopped. I wish i have read past reviews before hiring them. But i hope that people will read this before hiring neotericuk.

• If despite my experience anyone out there still want to hire them, please do the follow things.
• Look for a stress-free insurance in case you think that you are going insane. If there is such thing, please let me know
• Prepare to take pain killer pills before calling them. Trust me you will definitely need them when dealing with neotericuk developers, and their customer services agents.
• Be prepared to wait for an undermined time for your website to be completed or handed to you. (No time limit)
• With neoteric you will soon realise that they do not have the notion of time. Maybe they do not know that there is something called calendar, or they rely on the sun and moon like our ancestors to move forward day by day.

• Be prepared to accept that you can have several projects managers to work on your project and be aware that it does not guaranty quality.
• Be prepared to hire a lawyer when things go wrong
• Most off all READ CAREFULLY YOUR CONTRACT NO MATTER HOW LONG IT IS and HOW LONG IT TAKES.
• Make sure that you understand what is written on the invoice, BECAUSE the invoice list OR shows what they will do in term of what will be in your website.
• Do not rely on the project overview and business language attached to the invoice.
• Concentrate or focus on the Invoice list of website specifications. Anything listed there is what you will get. So, READ IT CAREFULLY. You will come to regret it if you don’t
• Ask question if you do not understand what the features means, or if there are missing features you want which are not listed. They will charge you in addition if you sign without mentioning what is missing
• Do not sign unless you understand, and you are happy with what they will provide. If possible hire a lawyer to investigate the contract before end. It is recommended specially with neotericuk.
• Make sure that you are not ripped off. You can always shop around. They are honest and good developers out there.
• It is too late for me. But, you can always learn from everyone who gave them 1 Start on Trustpilot. I do think that they do not deserve this 1 start. reviews have been very generous. they should have an option for null.

• DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID. I BEG OF YOU

Very professional company to deal with, they understood our vision and we liked the design that they created for us, the support was great from start to finish and the magento training given to us.

Absolute Disgrace of a Company. One of the worse companies I have ever dealt with. AVOID USING THEM AT ANY COST! They robbed me of £1500 and nearly 2 years later the website isnt complete. Everytime i request a revision, they mess up 10 other parts of the website. They dont do the work themselves, they send the work to some incompetent Indians in India. They take no responsibility for their work and I followed every possible way to reason and complain about the probles and they didnt care the slightest. They brushed off my legal action proposition, now i am teaming up with other companies Neoteric robbed and hopefully wipe this company of the face of the earth and if we can send some reckless directors to jail, that would put a smile in many peoples face.

Dont take my word for it, read other reviews, such as Google review etc..

Use Fiverr for your web design at a fraction of the cost

Started the job in December 2015 took 50% of the payment told us 8 to 12 weeks to complete (Something they said could not be guaranteed when asked in court) when I asked about all the poor reviews i had read online and was told all delays were down to clients not responding to requests on things like designs and that leads to delays. We responded to every email or telephone call within minutes over a weekend once was the longest delay yet they just managed to design two logos in 3 months that a 3 year old could've done in 20 minutes so we provided our own old ones as 3 months had now passed. Then tried to say they no longer imported from eBay which was why we went with them. They then agreed to do it. We paid the surcharge doing everything as quick as possible as time was now pushing 9 months. Then they were not really confident on how to link the eBay and website and we were worried about losing years of sales history on eBay. M2Epro whose software they use were more than happy to assist them but they kept saying they were happy and did not need assistance were were then warned by M2Epro that the history would be lost as they were doing it incorrectly. I asked one of their chaps could do it for them and then continue as it was now 11 months passed. They said yes and would not then grant access to the back office so he could not do it. I then called time on the whole project and asked for a refund for the money paid. They refused so i said in that case i was going to court. They then offered me access to the back office but it was too late.
The company then demanded the final payment and refused the refund issuing a counter claim.
We went to court in march 2017 Neoteric have a legal department who feel they can do as they please they requested the hearing to be in lancashire due to ill health making travel very difficult. Yet i found the gentlemens Linkedin page saying he was available for talks about human rights and racial matters up and down the country. (so it looks as though he can travel for a price). Fortunately i highlighted this in my court papers and the hearing was local to us.
They then showed their contempt again by submitting evidence the night before the case to us and the courts. The judge was not impressed as they had not even signed their statements and brought the wrong contract.
The judge allowed them to proceed unfortunately yet had to adjourn at the end of 2 gruelling hours as he could not make a decision.
I offered a settlement to them at the end which they refused.

Round 2 was in May 2017 and the night before the hearing they telephoned me to offer the settlement amount i asked for in court so as i had done lots more paperwork and time off booked i refused as it was too last minute.

We went to court another judge and again they try to make many false claims such as i had not made hundreds of emails and calls to them well it was actually 189 emails and 107 telephone calls through out the 12 months. I had 4 account managers from the start as it seems most of them keep leaving.
I was awarded a settlement of the sum i had previously asked for but going back to court for it it made them travel all the way over here to court as i felt if they they wanted to mess with me that we can all do that.So i got my justice in the end and never wish to hear their name again.
All my stuff is here if anyone ever wishes to see any of it or ask for info please feel free.
If you are silly enough to go with them make sure your contract gets a timescale that you are happy with as their standard contract is very loose and all in their favour. So write a bit of your own with your parts in it.
You will then see how confident they are at producing the goods on time when your contract is set to help you.

Between court hearings their London office rang me touting for business and stated they could do it in 12 to 20 weeks so still offering deadlines which they could not meet and gave it in writing but the judge said unfortunately they were nothing to do with this case. But it shows they still make wild claims even though they were in a dispute over that same sort of stuff

Another firm has since taken it on and did in 4 weeks what they could not finish in 12 months.

Just leave well alone i wish i had.

We use this company for SEO, we have gained good results with them for the last 4 months and our account manager and SEO manager have been very helpful and kept us up to date with everything. Would certainly recommend them for this service as they have been very efficient and responsive.

Just what you need when trying to enter the online world, and running a business at the same time.

My experience with neoteric was one that had many highlights.
Firstly, the head of design an excellent and efficient designer, who has a massive amount of skill and knowledge that really helped to make what I wanted a reality. He really understood the brief, our brand and the way we wanted our website to work and created something really good looking, modern and user friendly. It was a pleasure to work with someone who really understood both our needs and the needs of our customers, and his communication was second to none.

The development stage, although it took longer than originally hoped, was only extended because of the head of development's knowledge being recognised for a number of projects at one time. Whenever he had the time to focus on our project, changes were made very swiftly, and he made sure that everything we had asked for was done to the best of his ability.

A few tips for your project with neoteric:

Know exactly what you want - although all parties in the company will be more than happy to input on both creative and technical developments, and have excellent ideas on how to make your website work for you, it is important to know exactly what you want and how you want to achieve it. This will help the project move along smoothly in a timely manner.

Have a specific list of requirements – It is important to tell the technical team exactly how you expect everything to work, and exactly what you want them to do (to the best of your knowledge) to ensure that your website runs exactly how you want it to and avoid unnecessary assumptions that can potentially delay deployment.

All in all, the launch was slightly delayed but the end result was that we had an amazing looking website that was 100% customized and tailored to our requirements. We've launched for a month now and development is providing continual support, reacting to our questions/requests in a timely manner.

Helpful and increased the number of enquires we've received

Having had wed sites designed in the past by so called web developers I always felt short changed with the finished site. But after contacting Neoteric I found them a breath of fresh air. With professional & friendly staff who can't do enough to ensure I received a site that exceeded my expectations . Their customer service is second to none with any query dealt with in a timely manner. I can't praise them enough & will be using them for all my requirements in the future. Thank you Neoteric for an amazing site.

Made me feel really upset and stressed. Emptied my savings account to start a business however now its all bust as the website took 6 months to develop for an ecommerce site and my products had expiry dates. Unfortunately was difficult to get through to customer service and was mostly told to leave a message but was never really called back.
When at the point of the go live process, the website went live with many glitches and I was not given a full working site until 2 weeks after the site had gone live

Disappointed

Bought into integration package months ago now Paid over £2k - lots of basic templates no real work done - no ebay amazon integration - misleading advertising claims especially on going costs. - have no confidence with them and would not trust them to carry on any more work.
Another example of all frills and no knickers - BUYERS beware!!!

Adding the lenght words in frontsite of website and prices is full of errors and many glitches. Took almost 10 month to build a straightforward Ecommerce Website. Be very careful about the sales team. They promised everything on paper and phone which they might not keep it. Many of those good reviews might be not true so do not trust it. I checked the bad Trustpilot reviews and should have gone with the advice already given by other businesses-clients that have got bad experience with Neoteric. I spoke with the Sales Manager about this and was given some story and that the client made a mistake. I wished I had taken the bad review advice from Trustpilot.
I had to choice another web develop company and started from beginning. Overall,the website was too expensive. There are free website templates from wix which will provide with the same functionality and without errors. Or just choice a web develop company from India. They are at least 5 times cheaper, motivated and even better. I might ask for a refund.

We got in contact with Neoteric because of the problems we were having listing the same items on multi-channels. It was taking all our time listing on them all and there was no stock control.

Neoteric solved this for us by designing a stylish new website and not only that we are able to send all our items to eBay and amazon in no time at all with stock control covering all 3 platforms .

Wayne and Colin at Neoteric were brilliant and understood exactly what i wanted, without them i would of been lost there knowledge and understanding guided me through all aspects of the site and are always there to help at the other end of the line.

Our site has now been running for 2 months with great feedback and sales coming in everyday.

One bit of advise though. Make sure you have good structure. MPNs Barcodes & SKUs. If you got all of theses in place your be off to a great start.

Overall an excellent service. Would recommend neoteric to anyone.

We can't stress enough, please under NO circumstances, touch this company with a barge pole !!!!

After 2 years (yes March 2014) for a contract to build our website which had a project timeline of 8 weeks, is still far from complete.

Our website has now finally gone live, however, after taking 3 weeks for their "go live team" to make all their final checks so that the site is “stable and working correctly” there are still quite a number of fundamental errors/glitches, sections not completed.

In that time, I have sent this company OVER 900 emails, made countless telephone calls (with the vast majority not being responded to) regards to ongoing issues falling on deaf ears and our project not being touched for weeks, sometimes months at a time.

This company certainly has the sale force to sell you their services but definitely lack the expertise to actually produce and deliver on their contract with endless empty promises and excuses.

Even though the original sales person in April 2014 was fully aware of all our requirements, (which were drawn into our contract) after 6 months into the project the manager informed me on 23rd September 2014 that the software was mis-sold and will not work to our specifications:

Quote from Manager “So I took it upon my self to work with the developer in my office to completely change and start again with the software”.

After 18 months of the above statement we were given many assurances with timescales which were always followed by excuses why they hadn’t been fulfilled.

From the stock answers we have on emails:-

1. "We don't understand the functionality of the back office", (which I can assure everyone reading this review, after over a year of being at the computer at times till 2am or 3am in the morning are fully conversant with the system)

2. ‘our server is the issue” even though we have been in contact with the hosting company who inform us that Neoteric has some coding that is not allowing parts of the website to migrate to our upgraded server,( which was advised by one of the managers at Neoteric) which in turn now has fundamental parts of the website not working.

With us being unable to receive any response or closure to the website being fully functional we were left with no option but to publish a review on Trustpilot, in the hope to gain a response.

THE MD of the company contacted us within a few hours, asked for all outstanding points to be emailed over so they could be completed.

To our surprise, we then received an email from the manager with bullying and threats:

"You can quote the spec and like I said all what we have done exceeds that. We will remove everything which is not in it"

"What ****(manager who has now left the company) has said is irrelevant now this is not being built".

A reply was sent to the manager in question, which was also copied into the MD along with other employees we have dealt with over the years, to our surprise our emails were returned as spam.

This action made it very clear that Neoteric had no intention to rectify the outstanding points.

It was then brought to our attention by another design company that coding had been added to the site so that Google could not search for our website anywhere on the internet, fortunately this was rectified by this new company we found and came to our rescue and was able to undo someones underhanded work.

As the website stands at the moment under the sales of goods Act, all products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. (The rules also include digital content in this definition. So all products - whether physical or digital - must meet the standards)

The site is not of satisfactory standard (searches for our website via mobile devices certainly proves this)
The site is not fit for purpose (there are features either not working correctly or have not been implemented which makes it impossible to complete functions)

We have been left with no option but to make other individuals, companies aware of our experiences with Neotericuk, along with official business's who our taking our complaint very serious.

anyone wishing to employ a web design company to design a website, please do your research and make sure all correspondence is in writing before you sign on the dotted line.

When making the extremely important decision of what company to hire, it was never just about their track record, portfolios and overall ability to meet certain desires as a business, but rather about the people within, and if they can prove they understand the importance of the task at hand, whilst showing the drive and passion in order to complete such a project. They passed with flying colours.

Six Notch is an extremely complex website and they tackled it with such enthusiasm from the very beginning. From day 1 with Neoteric providing a competitive quote, too the developers working tirelessly and being available at ANY time, they really have contributed immensely and elevated the potential Six Notch now has. Neoteric won't sit there idle and just nod their head at every word. They'll put forward realistic ideas throughout that really contribute to the functionality and usability of the website.

We've ran into issues along the way, which is inevitable with a site so complex and it would be naive to believe that everything will progress without a hiccup. But the way in which the personnel respond in a professional manner really helps mitigate any issues that arise.

The successful experience has lead to Six Notch working with Neoteric for several upcoming projects.

Initially after visiting the team in Preston we were very impressed with the solutions they offered to get our business online and integrate our sales channels. Following on from making payments of over £1800 it quickly became apparent that this company was not carrying out the works as instructed, we were sent generic screenshots of what our site would look like and then when it was made accessible barely any of our products were on there not to mention the sections of text that were in Latin that had clearly been copied and pasted. Having been concerned at the lack of progress we headed to Preston to meet again, the person we met this time had clearly not been briefed on our requirements although he did promise all issues would be ironed out within 2 working days, again this was another false promise and 2 days on we found out the project manager had left. We have since asked for a refund and all emails have been ignored. DO NOT deal with this company they will waste you time and cost you money.

Earlier this year we commissioned Neoteric UK to design and build a bespoke E-Commerce solution. We knew what we wanted to achieve but didn't know how to create what we wanted. After speaking with Nick and Wayne over a couple of different meetings their knowledge of online marking and E-Commerce was excellent, exceeding all other companies we met with and filled us with even further ideas of what we wanted. These two guys have been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I can't recommend working with them enough. The project hasn't been easy sailing but every potential obstacle we have come across they have either dealt with it for us or trained my team to do. We wanted an website that sold products and generated quality leads and we have ended up with exactly that plus a wealth of knowledge that we can now apply ourselves.
