The fees of needhelp are too expensive. I won't be using it again.

Ease of making appointment. Speediness of engineer making contact once job was registered.
The job was completed within 2 days of request.
The engineer was very polite and completed the job professionally.

Eyüp was very professional, on time and built the wardrobes and bed to a good standard.

Handy site to seek help for projects, but be careful how you choose a candidate- price is not the only factor.

The bathroom suite we had bought as a replacement for our existing one turned out to be not suitable for the task in hand. Aldis had to spend 3 days adapting the arrangement of the bathroom to fit the new units. He and his brother worked incredibly hard to make it fit and did a great job. We look forward to using them again in the future - and next time we won't pre-buy the units!

Sometimes I could not find the messages sent to me and I thought your payment system was a little complicated I would prefer to be able to speak to a person if I’m experiencing difficulties
However I do like being able to post jobs and feel that they will be completed professionally.

One guy came out he couldn’t do the job.
Everyone else was quoting ridiculous prices like 600£ to put a shower unit together.
My son did it in 2 hours!

I put out a job for a new shed, got a quote that suited me, communicated with Valentin T who gave me good advise. Set the date for the job and it went smoothly. What a great experience. Very happy to use Needhelp again

Helpful service. Good to have anonymity whilst requesting services. Appreciated the payment system for security too. The plumber we chose had good reviews and we found them to be correct.

Absolutely awful service, they claimed to find a trader within 48 hours when that did not happen I had to source a tradesperson on my own which was much cheaper than the £99 Needhelp charged so therefore requested a refund, this took over 2 weeks and many emails and a phone call for them to admit they failed and now waiting for the refund to go into my bank

We had a very bad experience with Needhelp. We were looking for someone to fix our toilet and hired a person through the platform who had many good reviews. However, the job made the condition of our toilet worse, and we quickly realized we couldn’t trust the person. We decided not to continue.

We had initially planned to pay 125€, but since the person had still spent some time, we gave them 70€. We requested a refund from Needhelp and were shocked to learn that 1) they would only reimburse 100€, as they take a 25€ fee, a 20% cut. We hadn’t noticed the fee was so high, and had we known, we wouldn’t have used the platform. It seems abusive to charge such a fee, especially when the problem hasn’t been fixed. 2) They didn’t process the refund directly, we had to follow up nearly a month later to finally receive it.

When we raised our concerns, they only referred us to a form that was meant to transfer the fee responsibility onto the person we hired. But in our view, Needhelp also bears responsibility. We find their approach disappointing and shameful.

Great platform that deals with problems well and lets you pay when your satisfied with the job
