I decided to upgrade some musical equipment and took out finance with a finance company who passed the reins to NCO Europe, who mistakenly took my initial deposit as a payment so when my 36 payments in their eyes had been paid failed to actually take my last payment, then when they realised they had not taken the last payment they reported me for a missed payment, I only realised this when my credit score took a dive. Obviously I contacted this company as they were the only ones I had credit with, they said I needed to make one more payment, which I did immediately but made sure that they realised it was their fault and not mine, they apologised profusely and promised they would contact the necessary people to put my credit score back where it should be. You know this is not the end of the story because on 31.03.26 a message came up on my credit score saying I had missed a payment, so yes I phoned. them again today and I heard the usual tales of “cannot understand how that has happened” etc etc they said that on their books my account was paid and closed last February, and that I should send a copy of the email I had received from Experian which I have done. Hopefully my credit score will be corrected.

They are abusive and making things difficult for me unnecessarily. No one should experience abusive treatment.

Terrible.. I had a amex card. I neeeee to pay before the 11th of januari which I did. Amex had a problem with there payment systeem so it was sent to nco Europe but it was paid already.. now almost a month later en multiple phone calls and e-mails and also sending proof of payment. The case is still open.. The people of customer care are horrible not friendly at all and make up lies for there mistakes.. and now it still takes weeks according to them to close this.. Uhm why I paid.. in full.. shouldn’t be with nco in the first Place and now they won’t close it? No no I go to court if I have to.. and I Will win this because there is no outstanding balance.. there wasn’t one when the first mail was sent.. so close the case

Would give NO stars if I could. Set up a payment plan with them and after a year of paying consistently they emailed about updating my financial information - I replied and stated that nothing had changed - they stopped taking payments without telling me (not sure why?), recorded a default on my credit file and referred my debt to another company. I have contacted them to rectify this as the default was false and therefore fraudulently recorded, they are trying to pass the buck and told me to contact the original client. I'm in the process of instructing a solicitor to take them to court - I'm told the default can be removed and I can get compensation for damages from them.

I phoned NCO and got speaking to Farouk Ahmed....he was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, polite, articulate and has been my light in a very dark tunnel. He sorted payments for me, and went over and above to do what he could for me. If anyone has any dealings with NCO ask to speak to him - i guarantee he will do his very best to help.
NCO please note - this man needs a promotion!!!!

NCO Europe, will not update my credit report, therefore it is showing up as High Impact which is effecting my credit score, I have tried contacting them to no avail, they want me to set up a payment plan however I am managing this on my own, pls note I was never behind on my payments from Vanquis Bank who sold my account, therefore I will not get into an agreement with a company that I did not ask for

I had to negotiate an agreement with this company. They could not have been any more patient, supportive and understanding. In particular, I would like to single out Mr Farouk Ahmed for his compassion and kindness.

If I could give a 0/5 I would.
Worked for this company and my severe pregnancy symptoms were continually dismissed as if it didn’t matter - which was affecting my work.
Finally after a welfare meeting was raised notice was taken. However they had changed everything they had agreed to set up in the plan when it came down to my 6 month probation meeting which I then decided it was in my best interest to leave.
The company & staff caused me so much distress that I ended up becoming very unwell which also affected my unborn child.
To top it off, I was owed 2.5 weeks holiday.. this wasn’t paid to me and looking on my “payslip” received I was only entitled to £77? To add this was then taken off me to pay for tax bare in mind I hadn’t even worked for the company in over a month so the tax shouldn’t have been taken from me.
Raised this on with the management team who said they will need to raise it to payroll.. after continuously emailing to chase this up, I still haven’t received a response.
So despite the company pushing myself to the point both myself and unborn child where unwell, they’ve also taken all money owed from me and don’t respond🤨

Absolutely useless. They wouldn't uphold a complaint because they said they couldn't trace an email having been allocated to a particular department. Erm, whose fault is that? They accept i sent the emails as i repeatedly sent them proof but won't accept responsibility for the delays that occurred. This is just one example of their incompetence. 6 months later and back to square one.

I keep getting text messages either a link asking me to open it as there is an important message. After the 4th message I have looked online and can see it is a credit agency. No other correspondence received and what it is regarding. Terrible take over from an organisation. Zero rating from me and would prefer written correspondence before receiving text messages with a link. I will not be opening.

Like others, I have had my credit score trashed for a Duologi finance arrangement that I never had due it being cancelled back in January 2024. However due to an obvious admin error, NCO Europe have stated that I have missed over 6 payments to an account that was never opened in the first place. I have emailed enquiries@ncoeurope and had NO RESPONSE. I have raised a dispute with TransUnion to try and clear up this mess and also pursuing this legally - I would suggest you contact me to get this sorted ASAP.
