Donate directly to the parks

With the current climate and funds and protections being stripped from our park systems, I wanted to donate to help protect these national treasures. However, they inundate you with emails and since donating to them I now get things to save the birds, save the elephants, save these natural natural treasure or that natural treasure. Meaning they sell your information. Disappointed to say the least. If you want to protect the parks, donate directly to a park(s) of your choice but I can't recommend donating to NPS

They waste money on $ appeals

They waste money on $ appeals, sending me return address stickers which are NOT recyclable. For years, I have requested to be removed from their mailing list, to no avail. What do they actually spend money on that is not their fund raising bureaucracy? Why are they poorly rated by the non-profit rating services.
