Really helpful call staff who weren’t overpowering on selling optional extras. Prices were as advertised with no hidden extra costs and Motorhome chosen is a new model, hoping it’s what it’s what it’s advertised as when I pick it up!

Only had a quote so far but stopped at the hidden extras. Think I understand now and if I can get cheap excess insurance may take up the next offer

We've used national motor homes a few times and always had a great time. The motor homes are always in good condition and ready to go. What puts us off doing it again is the fact that the return process seems designed to catch you out. Like a dodgy landlord you find yourself quibbling over damage you didn't cause and fearing the holiday is going to cost you double what you planned. The hidden extras in terms of costs also really stack up and turn a uk break into the equivalent of a week abroad. If you use them you will have fun but prepare to be fleeced

We have previously used this company before, the experience of motorhoming was great, the only downfall with the company is all the add on's we are hiring again and find that the add on's are just as more than last time for examplw hirinf plate, cutlary, hoses to me these should all be part of the cost. However the are very efficient with booking service etc.

Have hired from this company before and the whole experience has improved a great deal. The booking and confirmation process is slicker. The collection at the depot is straight forward with no further paperwork, as it should be. I’m especially impressed with the efficiency of the online chat service. The one downfall is, the heating system on the motorhomes should be reset before collection every time,..that would save a lot of grief for the hirer. The fuse you need to pull and refit to reset the heating control is not what the booklet or fuse panel icons stated. We found it to be the AUX2 fuse. But overall, a huge improvement on customer service, well done!

The service has been ok but I think there needs to be more information before hand about how much is necessary after you book including lots of form filling.
It could also be made more clear that the deposit is non refundable.

Great deals that come through regularly. I did try booking one but when I got through to payment it said there was no availability which was disappointing. Will try again though.

Excellent motor homes top rate price’s and the staff are really helpful

We’re always keen to see the offers from National Motorhomes, so decided we’d like to use them for a trip this year. Went to the website and got quoted a really competitive rate, got right to payment screen to be told, none available at that rate but still quite a good rate so left our details.
We then had a really positive discussion with a member of the team for a pick up from Manchester, just needed to confirm date of pick and contacted them first thing (as agreed) to confirm. All sold out overnight !! Still hanging on to wanting you use National Motorhomes, has a couple of conversations, culminating in a hard sell for a pick up in Barnsley, which apparently is the same distance to Manchester! Didn’t like the hard sell approach so asked to be kept informed if anything else comes available for Manchester. Was told nothing will be available until April. Thanked them for their help and continued looking. Next morning first thing, urgent contact as cancellation had been received for Manchester!! And lots of subsequent emails to sell a Manchester hire. Really wanted to use them but their sales team left us feeing very uncomfortable. Would have been a very happy customer up to the Barnsley discussion.
