My case ID is 4001341753, its ongoing since 6th June and I provided MOI, Degree, and Transcripts for my degree. Since it was a readmission case, Donna (advisor) asked to me to submit transcripts for the initial years of study that I had done, even if this was at a different institute, or a number of years prior. I did that with an online copy and then they asked me to submit a university copy and I did that as well. I keep receiving new dates (15 days to right) and since I m in the UK it's a nightmare to manage things from distance in India. But somehow I managed it, but I started my application on 6th June and today is 8th August and after proving all documents I am still waiting. Since I am in Uk and want to move over to a different Visa, it's been a nightmare for me and my family for the last 2 months with all the struggle to get what comes as a new expectation every time. Hope I will get the right attention since it's been again showing new dates to the right. would appreciate any support and want to close this as a matter of urgency.

Scam business organization. They should not be allowed to operate in the UK since credible recognizing bodies like Engineering Council,CMI,ILM,etc exist.This is pure fraud in the name of education advisory which claims to recognize bodies that they are not.

I received my e-statement of comparability but you mentioned that English language is my second language, although in my high school certificate it mentions that English the first foreign language.

I needed my undergraduate qualification validated to a UK equivalent. A graduate of a premier design institute in India which is also recognised internationally, I provided ECCTIS with a letter from the college administration stating that the diploma I received back in 2001 is equivalent to the degree the college currently offers. For some reason that is not enough for ECCTIS.
They would like me to get a letter from either AIU, UGC or AICTE whom I have emailed through their respective websites but seriously doubt I will ever get a reply. The college is recognised as a provider of under gradate and post graduate degree courses in design but because on the AIU website it states degree course and I received a diploma back in 2001, ECCTIS chooses to ignore a legitimate and official letter issued by the college and insist I get a letter from the AIU with similar language to validate my diploma qualification.
I have now come to the conclusion that in principle ECCTIS is not accepting the degree qualification status listed on the AIU website in my case even though my college has submitted in writing that that is what my qualification is worth today.

I have now sent a request for a cancellation and refund. I am sure that too is going to be a lengthy process, considering its been 2 months since I submitted my documents and it takes up to 2 weeks for someone to respond in writing after each communication.

On their website they lay high claims to the level of expertise and networking they have. I had hoped they would take advantage of professional channels to communicate with government bodies such as AIU, UGC or AICTE in India to verify my claim if an official letter from my college counts for nothing.
It is very disappointing and frankly quite frustrating because I see no way forward.

Very very disappointing. I am devastated.

First things first, I had my basic education and bachelors degree from India. Currently on an apprenticeship program and I was asked to provide proof for my Maths and English school qualification by the university, as that happens to be part of new apprenticeship regulations set up by HEE.
Then, my university sent my mark sheet to ‘UKENIC’ to compare! (I wasn't aware of this initially).
ENIC responded almost by rejecting my qualifications and asked for Transcript. I applied to CBSE board and my school for transcript.
Meanwhile I did some research of my own and I was confident that the level of education I received from Central board of secondary education is certainly equivalent to GCSE.

1) I would like to thank UKENIC for accepting my Maths.

NB: I had several people advising me during this period that, come what may ENIC will not accept my ENGLISH QUALIFICATION and the reasons I heard are not the best to hear or write here unfortunately.

2) for not my astonishment, ENIC refused to compare my English qualification by saying they are not comparable even though it may be taught as a first language.

I felt this very disrespectful and devaluing.

Just because by default I was born in India and was educated in India I am being made to go through this embarrassment and disheartening situation.

I wish those working in UKENIC or the company Ecctis understand what it means to be devalued and have the kindness to accept that countries like India do provide a high standard of education.

So, best wishes to UKENIC/ Ecctis for making much more profit!

I see ENIC has edited the response saying I have not responded. I am quite unsure about the words I must use here. However, please can I say that It’s very inappropriate for ENIC to do this, because I have had an almost 20 minutes conversation over the phone with Mr Andy Barnfield on 04/07/2022 (@1210 for 19minutes and 29 seconds).
From the conversation I was pretty clear that ENIC/Ecctis is reluctant to make any effort to accept some facts, such as about the standard of education provided in countries like INDIA. I was told they will not compare English education from countries like India, Philippines etc because that’s how is their current protocol.
My conclusion is Ecctis is a private company purely profit driven and if they agree to compare English from India or such countries they loose customers and there will be a steep decline in their profit.

My request to ENIC/Ecctis.. please have a protcol to understand what it means to be valued and to be treated with respect.

Awful organisation to deal with. They got me and others running around like crazy to get an MOI letter which, after over 2 months of back and forth, they decided it must be emailed directly from the awarding body (not the affiliated college), contradicting their own requirements on their website that the MOI letter can come from affiliated colleges.

A complete waste of time and I guess I can't do anything about it either.

Do not waste your money. Their database and assessments are incorrect.
Please read all reviews before wasting your money.
They compare my full degree with Honours to the undergraduate Foundation degree. How can it be true after studying in the University for 4 years? My sister Who lives in Germany received a full degree when doing the same comparability in Berlin.
If I continued studying back home, I would be doing doctorate.
They are absolute scam. Please do not waste your money.

Please I have recently done my statement of comparability with UK ENIK and the best part is the have given me the qualification but in (additional comparison information) it say that (although English may be studied as a first language it is not considered comparable to English language GCSE studied in uk)
which means this certificate which i paid £ 60 all together has no use as its not accepted to do a level 2 apprentiship which is the least qualification in uk.

requested them to review my qualification as it was not accepted for my function skill in return i received even if you do graduation in India its not considered as comparable to GCSE to uk.

It is a big scam. Their Statement of Comparability is a big fraud. Don't buy their service.

I was little apprehensive to start the process with, after reading all the comments and also I have completed my post graduation from a small town from tamilnadu, india. nevertheless I went ahead with application, I was going with a tight schedule as I am planning to leave to UK pretty soon, once I provided all the documents and made the payment, Ecctis did provide me timeline of 10 days.

I was checking the website regularly, to my surprise I received the e-certificate two days earlier than expected, if you are confident about your education, I would recommend please go for it, definitely you will not be disappointed.

Hi I am having a bad experience with the organization, I applied for a fast track option and created the application and provide the required documents on 17 November 2021. And the completion date was shown as 19 November 2021, but still my status is showing "checking".

I had a bad experience with this organisation and really I am very disappointed with the unfair decision about my five-year bachelor degree when I applied for a statement of comparability with them.

I graduated from college of pharmacy after five years of university study and applied for registration as a pharmacist in the UK.

Unfortunately, They recognised my bachelor as diploma of higher education and non equivalent to the UK bachelor degree ( meaning I that my five years bachelor is useless) . I think they are based on outdated information about the education system in my home country ( IRAQ) which share the same characteristics with other countries in the Middle East.

What’s really upsetting more me was that they recognise the bachelor degrees from other neighbouring countries in the Middle East ( Sudan, Egypt, Jordan) as equivalent to the UK. These countries have exactly the same Entry requirements to a Bachelor degree course as in Iraq is based on the secondary school Baccalaureate exams..

They can’t understand that I am applying for bachelor degree comparability to the UK bachelor and not for secondary school system comparability. They didn’t look at my bachelor and instead they focused on the entry system to the university in my country to that in the UK. This is not what I need from them.

I applied for the reassessment with them with the same negative outcome.

This unfair treatment to qualifications obtained in Iraq is really sad and heartbreaking.

I have no thing to do with them and they don’t accept the idea and advice to review their regulations to compare the qualifications to those in the UK

This organisation has continued with their decision about my bachelor degree despite providing a strong evidence during reassessment request. they don’t want to admit their mistakes. Really very disappointed about their unfairly treatment

I took the service of UK NARIC to assess my degree qualification comparable to UK education system frame work. I uploaded my school credentials both Bachelors and Masters Degree on Sept. 15, 2021 and the completion date on 29 Sept. 2021 which is exactly 10 days. ( you can see the time frame in Order Status in your account). After 3 days I received a message from NARIC that my Bachelors Degree cannot assess whereas my Masters degree they can do. So, I opt the option to proceed to evaluate and assess my Masters Degree. There is also option there in the link says if you want to continue or if not you will be refunded of the fees.

Sept. 24, 2021, i received an email confirmation from NARIC that my Visas and Nationality Service (English Proficiency) application is now complete and yes upon seeing the result i am very satisfied and overjoyed. My Master Degree is comparable to UK Bachelor (Honours) Degree I felt so happy about the result.

Despite of all the negative reviews I read I can attest that NARIC assessment is fair to the high degree.

I am proud to recommend NARIC for those who wants to assess their degrees without taking IELTS.

After seeing lots of negative reviews i had to come back with my own experience i had my results after a week of submitting and payment . I submitted my transcripts , certificate and Letter from my university . I am greatly pleased with the service . My degree was attained from University of Zimbabwe

I would like to thank you for your services. l am very happy. l submitted my documents on 23 August 2021 and by 6 September 2021 you were done with the assessment. On the very day you managed to dispatch my certificates through DHL as l had choose mine to be posted and on 13 September l received the parcel in hand. Thank you so much for being so efficient.

Awful experience! Even though my transcript letter states my degree was taught in English they need another letter saying it was taught in English. All of my certificates are in English with English as a subject too but that is not enough. They keep asking for more and more. They really are wasting time.I keep calling and they just want more letters and documents.You are better off sitting for a test here than waste time on this. They just take your money. They are so expensive! DONT USE THIS SERVICE!

Thank you for your reply. You have received every document but you want separate letters to state the degree was taught in English when it already mentions on the transcript. Most organisations have adapted to understanding the need in pandemic which is still ongoing. Getting in touch with Universities whilst you are in another country is not easy but I guess as per your reply that is my problem which is a shame. I do hope people take these negative reviews seriously. I didn’t!

The interactive system goes around and around again, I find my self logging in again and again to bring me to the same point, The website set up needs to be refined
there are no option to choose which UK level you want to compare your overseas certificate against, for example comparing overseas degree against a GCSE English and Math in UK

I too sent my qualifications. After about 15 days I was asked to send my educational qualifications.

I hold a national Diploma in teaching English and it was a course similar to a degree which was awarded by the National Institute of education. I had over 18 years of experience as a teacher in Sri Lanka.
They said my qualification is similar to a first year of a 3 year degree. This is really frustrating.
