incomplete data for total credit available - only lists 1 credit card where as I have 4 current - no way to report their error
This was awful
This was awful. The website would not let me create an account, even after verifying my access code. Subsequent attempts to do this didn't work since the code had already been used. Called support 4 times, and wow, what a useless group. Deleting cache in the browser was the only offer of help and that did not work. Requests to speak to someone in IT did not work. Never got it to work and gave up.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. They sent me an email stating there was a "critical change" to my credit report. I have Lifelock & other identity protections that didn't flag anything. I tried logging in to mytrueidentity and got locked out! Tried calling customer service 4x and got nowhere. Tried resetting my password and still locked out. Feels like a total scam.
Like everyone else
Like everyone else, it wouldn't go through after putting in all of the info. I tried on 3 separate occasions.
Also why are some of the remarks from Sept and we just received the notification a few days ago?
Their help desk of the credit bureau…
Their help desk of the credit bureau (Transunion) is very UNHELPUL or My True Identity. They answer nothing for you other than canned phrases. YOU get the same stuff. My True Identity or Trans Union. I received an email from My True Identity and got nothing there either. I want to thank congress and the senate, for this ridiculous settlement made for their constituents' behalf. All I have to say is PU!
The mytrueidentity website is very poor
The mytrueidentity website is very poor. Tried to save some changes to my personal information and security question - hit save but the changes are not saved / retained.
Also - it shows a past address for me that I have never lived at and do not even recognise.

Terrible website - Unable to login after enrolling
Unable to login after enrolling. Their 2-factor identity doesn't work. This should be an embarrassment for Trans Union. Doesn't leave one thinking there's anything secure with a users' information.
Is it possible To give 0 stars
Is it possible To give 0 stars? This service collects all your personal info and doesn’t work. Don’t even try to sign up.
I tried to enroll and failed
I tried to enroll using code from a notification about a data breach, and offering free credit monitoring. After filling out the web form I got "We're having trouble with your request and apologize for the inconvenience. Message ID: 005"
A farce.
Unsatisfactory very low QoS by TransUnion
I was double disappointed about weak security systems at TransUnion, how data breach at TransUnion put my security at risk and how the situation was managed by TransUnion. I followed the instructions per letter that I have received from TransUnion after its data breach but I had a terrible experience with the mytrueidentity.com site and customer service which TransUnion uses . I did some research and find out that I am not the only one. I wonder if someone can take a lead and file a lawsuit against them and our Government does something about this situation. No one should experience what I have experienced or all other people like me experienced. Please help to spread our SoS signal to the right authorities.

Don't Trust Them!
Yes this is a scam on top of the original scam! I already had my Big 3 credit agencies Frozen but still TransUnion allowed my info to be hacked. Just like others say here, I followed the instructions in TU's snail mail letter, finally got to the *legitimate* trueidentity website, gave them all my info (reluctantly), and got an error message telling me to try again OR call a #. So, I called. A woman with very poor English answered and asked for my email and phone #. I asked why she needed that as they can't verify something they don't yet have. She said "so I can call you if the call is dropped". Using fear here? No, I said, if the call is dropped I will call YOU back. After repeating this same conversation yet again, she finally said "Well, I can't help you then". I told her she was scamming me and I hung up. Miracle of miracles! A split second later SHE called me back. Hmmmm thought she didn't have my #. I will surely be hacked yet again by these scammers.
Head Shaker

I received a letter from Transunion about the security breach and what information of mine was compromised. I went to the Transunion website could not get in it said I have been blocked. Next day same thing
third day same thing. I called the number for Transunion 24 minutes later I was connected to an a rep and after a conversation that ended up with 2 new phone numbers to call one for mytrueidentity and one for getting an answer for why I was blocked after I got off the phone I realized that the second number was the one I had just called! On the fourth day bingo! I'm able to log in to the Transunion website like nothing happened. So that was good. I decided to go to the mytrueidentity website My
screen says site not secure I am at risk entering the site! You can't make this stuff up! I tried 2 more times checking to make sure I had the spelling correct same thing. After that I tried a few more times and it just redirected me to the Transunion website. After that I abandoned any attempt to proceed further into the "woods" with this.
Transuniin my identy
This company, it's website and customer service is a joke. And because I seen an extreme ugh volume of the same exact complaints. They obviously do not care or learn from their mistakes

I must have called a half dozen times regarding being unable to sign on, i decided to do a review and see on Trustpilot others are experiencing the same problem as well
Web site won't take my information no…
Web site won't take my information no matter how many times I've tried. I have two years' monitoring because of yet another data breach. My old account has been cancelled and I am unable to create a new one. This has to be the worst site for data security. You can't even be sure trueidentity.com is even a valid site given all the problems encountered.
Disband this corrupt company
Disband this corrupt company. I received a letter from Transunion stating that my information was breached. I got no help from Transunion. I was told to use the website for free monitoring and other services due to the breach. I was unable to connect with anyone who could not speak clear English. They were rude, I was hung up on twice then given 4 other numbers to call. The only websites were for services to be paid by the party that was breached. There was not one website dealing with my problem or any place to enter a code that was provided by Transunion for extra credit monitoring. This is nothing more than an elaborate scam by Transunion and should be addressed by the FTC!
