Proxies do their work

Proxies do their work, you get plenty of resources to help you make the most of the service, and if anything goes wrong for any reason, their customer support is quite helpful.

As for cons, you can refresh proxies only once per month. Yet, it's somehow understandable as their proxies are built on static IPs and are dedicated to one customer

I'm trying to start a small business to make some extra income, and this company has helped me out tremendously. I know nothing about proxies, and they patiently taught me everything I needed to know.

Once I even got a refund for a project that I had to cancel. No hassles, immediate refund. I wish all the other companies I deal with were that professional, that prompt, and that honest

Just wanted to say

Just wanted to say, you're the third proxy company we have worked with. You guys have been by far the best and will probably be our last. You keep up the customer service and product side like this and you'll always have our business.

Hidden subscription and debit of funds from the card

For some time we used the myprivateproxy service and were generally satisfied with it. Until we noticed that the amounts for proxies that we did not buy and did not use began to be debited from our card.
As it turned out, we did not purchase a proxy package, we purchased a subscription, which was not mentioned when we purchased a proxy.
We are very upset that we were charged for services that we did not use. And we did not want to purchase a subscription. The subscription terms were not transparent and were not clearly described. We didn't know that it was a subscription and thought we were purchasing a one-time proxy package.
We have contacted support several times for a refund. As a response, we received a standard message that the case is being considered by the billing team. After that, the cases were simply closed.
We are very upset with this attitude towards customers and hope that the support service will still respond and return the money to us.

Update on their answer:
We are very sorry if you have the impression that we are abusing Trustpilot to get our way. This is absolutely not the case. We want to share our experience of using the myprivateproxy. And pay attention to the fact that we are getting incomplete replies from the support.Had it been made more clear in the beginning, that your service is a subscription-based one, we would’ve definitely paid attention to it including monitoring email.

As we already addressed this issue to you, it is not very obvious that when making a purchase on your service, we automatically subscribe to your services. We are very sorry that you regard the appeal here as an attempt to undermine your reputation.We, as customers, express our frustration with your service. Unfortunately we do not always have access to the email address. I think many of your clients have already encountered this.

We are glad to see that you have already taken steps to improve this issue, and would like to address them to other users.We have proof in the form of screenshots (trustpilot does not allow you to attach them here) where you can see the "before" and "after". After our appeal to support, a footnote appeared on the proxy packages stating that this is the cost per month.

But it is precisely because of the lack of transparency that we got into such an unpleasant situation. We are always ready for dialogue and we hope that you are ready to consider the opportunity to meet us halfway for the reasons listed above.

We list our services on our website as costing a specific /monthly price. What is hidden in this?

MPP uses a subscription-based business model, which means our customers receive the services on a recurring basis for a monthly, quarterly, six months, or annual fee.

Our services are set to automatically renew on their renewal date after the initial term to prevent any disruption in the service. Renewal invoices are emailed 7 days before the renewal date so you can have enough time to cancel before renewal.

Unfortunately, you ignored the renewal notifications, waking up after several months claiming that you had the impression our service costs were one-time. How can you think that this excuse can be a valid argument?

Some customers have found a loophole to misuse Trustpilot to get things their way. We'd rather have lots of irrelevant negative feedbacks than give in to a form of blackmail whereby a client has the impression that he can get anything in exchange for a review.

To avoid at all costs

Worst proxy provider. I worked with them for few months until I discovered that they were billing me too much, then they refused to refund. Also their service is very poor, proxy are slow. To avoid at all costs, I found a much better provider now with fast proxies and honest billing.

Update on their answer: they refunded nothing, I have several Paypal dispute with them. This website should be closed

Due to a failed API call to PayPal, one of your recurring subscriptions hasn't been updated accordingly; therefore, there were indeed some excessive charges.

When an invoice over-payment occurs, credits are automatically issued to the customer's account balance. Thus, payments registered in excess are not lost. Instead, they are visible in the dashboard and can be used on future invoices or refunded.

Analyzing the conversation you had with our operators on this issue, I notice the following. You opened a ticket flagging the over-payments; we explained the cause of the error, apologized for the inconvenience, and immediately refunded all over-payments.

A few days later, you have returned claiming that our calculation is incorrect and that a higher amount should be refunded to you. At that time, we provided you with a statement and politely and concisely explained that our billing system is fully automated and that we returned everything recorded in excess. We also asked you to report the payments you are referring to, indicating the transactions IDs. Unfortunately, you didn't do that. Instead, you impulsively canceled all your services with us and requested a refund for them too, even though you were not eligible.

Then, when we told you that you were not eligible to receive a refund for those service cancellations, you reacted impulsively again by leaving this review.

Everything you argue here, except the error that was remedied by returning the over-payments, is false.

Indirect Scam

So I recently left a good review after I had the proxy setup, worked fine, was a good price and was well pitched to me with a nice location. All was happy. Until the actual usage of the proxy started, My intent of use of the proxy was clearly stated before purchase, they advertise their service as "unlimited" which is FALSE advertisment. They cap your usage, no wonder it's cheap. They told me I was using too much which was 6GB. Now today, my proxy has been restricted to 192 kbps which renders the proxy useless as you can barely load chrome with this speed. This is a way of my payments to continue whilst having an unusable proxy. This is quite literally a scam that's going on here. I would advise against this company VERY STRONGLY as they hook you initially at the start but it's not what it seems. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Using my money and making my proxy useless, nice one myprivateproxy

As stated in our AUP, at its sole discretion, MPP can limit the number of simultaneous connections and the number of connections per section, as necessary to ensure stable service for all users.

Upon closer examinations, it appears that there was not a networking abuse but an error on our part.

As compensation for this unpleasant situation, we extended your subscription for a period of 3 months.

Amazing company!

Proxies works fine, the support team are really nice and helpful with any issues around the proxies.

Support is A class!

I've been using this company for a few months now and I've had one issue and a few questions.
When a proxy subnet went down, I contact support and it took only 4 minutes before it was replaced with a working subnet.

My ISP started to change my dynamic IP a little too often (1-5 times per day) so I had issues with not being authorized. I had to manually go in each time and update to my new IP. This created a massive headache for me - one round later to technical support and the solution was at my hand to use API access to update my authorized IP.

Thank you - I highly recommend MyPrivateProxy!

Horrible Horrible Support

Horrible Horrible Support. Billing department is a joke.
I used this service for several months, it was OK. Nothing great, they would replace my assigned IPs a few times with short notice. Fine, I can live with that. But once I canceled my subscription I've been getting billed for the past 4 months after that, and worst of all-- BILLED DOUBLE. I've put in a ticket, they made it a priority and fwd to the billing department. One week later, still no updates. I am now calling into my bank to dispute the charges. Very unprofessional. I even emailed for follow up and no reply.

Good Efficient Service

I have two contracts with MPP. Immediate allocation of proxies and they work fine.

Although I wanted UK proxies for one of the orders, I didn't get them because I just requested European. However, quickly and easily resolved with support.

My bad as there is a space for special requirements when you order and I didn't use it! But like I said, quickly and easily resolved.

Tried it, cancelled and 24/7 support is trash.

Got a medium prio ticket after cancelling, telling me how to cancel which i alrdy did like a day ago. Then now when im asking for a refund it has taken them over 3 days to just give me 2.5 dollars back...

Edit: 4 days and still waiting.
Edit #2 took them 2 years to respond to this review lol.

Although you saw in the bank statement an authorization attempt made by the payment processor, the payment was not actually made, being marked as suspicious. As a result, the authorization attempt was lifted by the processor in 3-5 working days, and the corresponding amount has become available again.

To avoid such situations, use real billing info and avoid using proxies or VPNs in the order process.

False advertising

Purchased 20 proxies from myprivateproxy.net because we used them in the past and I knew they work.

After an hour, seeing that my proxies were not delivered, I contacted the support team by opening a ticket.

All I received was an automated replysaying that the ticket was forwarded and updates will follow so I sent another message 3 hours later asking them to just deliver my proxies as the payment was made and I followed up with another message to ask them what happened to their:

I also mentioned that I will need a refund if they don't intend to deliver urgently, as advertised, in order to go purchase somewhere else.

Still no reply, contrary to their 24/7 support advertisment so I asked them for a refund.

2 hours later, I received another automated reply saying that the ticket was forwarded tand updates will follow.

3 hours after my last message I initiated a PayPal dispute and sent myprivateproxy another message updating them with my actions.

No reply, so I followed up with another message 2 hours later, letting them know that they are the worst and I will make sure everyone knows it and that I only received 2 automated messages from them, not even the courtesy of a human being.

40 minutes later, I posted a review here and sent them another message with a screenshot of the review.

2 hours later I finally received the first real reply, being notified that because I kept replying to the ticket, it was bumped back to the bottom of the queue and the reason for not receiving the proxies is that my PayPal payment was not confirmed and I should resolve my issues with them.

So much for the "Trained, in-house experts are here to help 24/7. Our robust help center includes guides, video tutorials and more." A reply to a ticket, messes up their entire support system.

I told them my PayPal account was in good standing and that the money was sent from the PayPal balance so there is NO more confirmation needed on my end, it is most likely on their end because PayPal probably sees them as high risk due to numerous refund claims.

In the meantime, they issued me the refund on PayPal.

After providing me some screenshots, it became clear that PayPal indeed hasn't delivered the payment because they were reviewing it to protect the seller (MyPrivateProxy). This was odd but indeed, the payment issue was not on their end.

So, after realizing the payment was the factor that caused the delay in the proxy delivery, I asked them why they couldn't update me on this as they advertised, with their 24/7 support team, I received messages regarding my lack of knowledge and other irrelevant specification, without owning the fact that I only recieved a human reply after over 10 hours from the purchase but pointing me to the inital response time and today's response time and I will have my answer. ( I assume they were talking about the first time I used their service when I indeed received the proxis instantly). None of these cover the fact that their support team is not there 24/7 and if you have an actual issue, you will receive a real human update after over 10 hours.

Update :

2 days later, I received a phone call by a person that hasn't even introduced himself and threatening our company for inflicting reputation damages to MyPrivateProxy and I should retract the review here, which I just did.

He also told me that the reason for the payment being held by PayPal is because the myprivateproxy account was made under one name and the PayPal account beneficiary was under a different name which is true because the myprivateproxy account was opened by an ex employee of ours a year ago and we used the same one now.

Even though I am completely unsatisfied with the experience, I updated my rating from 1 star to 2 stars because of the payment issue which was completely not their fault.

The bad review reflects :
- false advertising because they promise 24/7 support and they don't
- inability to own their mistakes and try to salvage a potential customer relationship or at least reduce the amount of frustration caused by the lack of a proper support team
- trying to intimidate bad reviewers in order to prevent damage to their brand instead of working out an amiable solution or at least an apology

P.S.I recorded the phone call, even though their harasser didn't present himself so I assume it can't be connected to them directly

Replying to your ticket will bump it back to the bottom of the queue. We work the queues from top to bottom so each time you reply, you delay a reply from us.

As stated on our website, proxies are assigned within seconds after payment is completed. However, according to PayPal, your payment is not yet confirmed; thus, that's the reason for which the order it's still Pending. Please get in touch with PayPal and clear out any issues you might have.

you need to pay twice

I've paid via credit card, then they told me your transaction suspended. Ive looked for my last transaction on their site, but nothing there. They tell me to pay again. Actually my money is gone on mpp. Be careful

All negative reviews about our website have one thing in common - are related to issues over which we have no control, so I do not think it reflects our professionalism and the quality of the services we offer.
As stated on our website, proxies are assigned within seconds after payment is completed, and of course, confirmed!

There are situations where payments are not instantly confirmed such as when the customer made his payment through a PayPal eCheck. It usually takes 3 to 5 business days for an eCheck to clear and for the money to be sent to us; thus, the client will have to wait all this time and because he often does not know how that he has eCheck and not a debit card as the subscription funding source, he will blame us for lack of promptness.

Also, sometimes certain orders need to be manually reviewed by us or by payment gateway. The entire verification process can take up to 24 hours, and this can cause delays in the activation of the service. This verification is made only on orders marked as Fraud by MaxMind.

There is no situation where a once confirmed payment is not immediately followed by service activation.
