Looks like a scam, smells like a scam
I paid for the 3 month plan, figured I would try it out, and use for a bit and see how I like.. I don't, first thing I did was set up my Screen name and password, I ran a check on myself, the results were limited at best. I then did a check from my dashboard, to see who had search me. some names came up. I did a check on one of the names, and it took me back to where I signed up for the Plan I bought... Made it back to my page and it showed me still signed in. I then tried to do a background check on my son, Same Results, back to sell me a plan page.. I signed out and signed back in using the same user name, and password, My computer auto saved for me when I created, I check It was the same.. I get Uh Oh! 410: Page is Gone. I went to the bank this morning, reported them as fraud. There is no way I can find to contact them. They never took my email or any contact info from me when I got the plan???

My Life.com refuses to remove my personal information after multiple requests by Optery to remove it . I will be reporting them to my State Attorney Generals office and to the Federal trade commission. Also to my member of congress. They are the worst of the Data brokers at this time.
disturbed by mylife's existence in 2026
it's disturbing that someone has acquired MyLife out of bankruptcy in December 2024, especially when it was sued for deceptive business practices in 2020!

I signed up to simply correct my address and the site doesn't work. Don't do it.
SCAM ALERT
SCAM ALERT! DO NOT join MyLife. They do not provide any data or information that you can't get for yourself by googling. It is only public information. They also make it impossible to cancel the service. I tried to cancel but they renewed anyway and charged me. I've tried several times to get my money back, but all they said is that my service won't automatically renew after this cycle. So, I paid for a cycle I didn't want to begin with.
Don't even risk a trial with these scammers
I signed up for a free trial even though it looked pretty scammy. It had some of my background info but was missing more than 50%. I then canceled the same day and wrote an email specifically confirming that I canceled my trial, did not want a subscription, and did not authorize any transactions, renewals, subscriptions fees, or otherwise. Month later they start charging me. Still trying to get them to reverse the charge and follow the law.

I decided to look up my profile on MyLife. I have never seen such a string of misinformation about me including a string of people I've never even heard of. If any organization relies on this as a resource they are doing themselves a major disservice.
Screw them!!!
Not worth the time to give a proper review. Read all other reviews.
Can you give Zero Stars?
Is this company really even trying? I looked up my own name and was blown away by how many inaccurate items appeared. According to their website I'm still married to a person I divorced over 26 years ago and my new spouse of 10 years isn't even mentioned. That's pretty basic, public info, right? My address is still listed at a house I moved out of approximately 5 years ago; and there are relatives listed that I've never heard of, and I'm pretty sure I'm not related to them. When you search for a name the way in which it makes you wait while it builds a status bar "collecting info" is lame. I can't believe there aren't major lawsuits against this company.
I am yet another customer who cancelled…
I am yet another customer who cancelled before my trial period ended. They continue to bill 29.95 a month, regardless. There is no cancellation option on the web site when I am signed in. They never respond to my emails. Their toll free number merely announces to send an email and then disconnects.
UPDATE - as you can see from the reply by mylife.com they didn’t even read my review where I make it clear they ignore emails.

I can't believe I was stupid enough to sign up for their services. After signing up, I discovered they give you no details, and need more funds. I asked for a refund, and my only response was they set me up to non-renew. I keep sending replies to them at how bad they are and they don't respond. They tell me I have 3 new people that looked me up, and my most recent is February of 2025. What 3 new people. Total lies!!!

Charges continue after cancelation
Charges you even after canceled subscription, someone years ago made an account under my name with a fake photo. My life kept sending emails so I finally did the free trial in hopes to remove photo and false information, after canceled subscription I am repeatedly billed $29.95 a month for a service I don't use and my subscription is canceled. I have no other choice but to cancel my card as the bank nor the company will refund charges that are fraudulent.

Disgusting don't waste your money they should pay you for the lies they try make you think is truth. Not a single item on my profile or my immediate family's was accurate. WORST people search I've ever used it needs to be taken down. Maybe someone who can actually do the job do it and maybe that might make a difference. If I printing out a report it wouldn't even hold up as toilet paper!!!!!

If I could rate this company as a -1 star I would. They are scammers and I hope no one has the experience I had.
I signed up for a 59.85 trial and then they charged me another 179.00
They have no one you can talk to in person and I emailed and of course the answers do not make any sense.

Endless displays of 30 second timers, no info to be had
There's absolutely no way to view your own reputation profile or anyone else's for that matter. When you look up anyone and click on their/your name it forces you to sit through several annoying and unnecessary 30 second timers until it eventually corners you into filling out several fields in an attempt to weasel your personal information out of you. If you try to get them to send you an email with a link to reset your password so you can log in, as soon as you click on it guess where it sends you... back to the endless 30 second timers. You will never view any information on this site, accurate or inaccurate, whether you or anyone else. It's a scam website built on false pretenses in the hopes that they annoy you enough that you either give them your personal info, money or both. Don't recommend.

False info scam site
This site charged me $59 for a "free trial." It also has false info. I tried to Lock my profile, but it's still there and available. They send daily emails to entice you to go back to pay for info. There is absolutely NO way to remove your profile...no telephone numbers or ways to contact them. It might be time to start a class action lawsuit against them. AVOID this search site like the plague!

I wanted ONE REPORT... ended up costing me almost 100 bucks
I wanted ONE REPORT, signed up for ONE DAY... Imagine my surprise when i was charged again for a full month the next month. I searched their site and there were no options to cancel or even to remove my credit card (well, no options on the links that actually worked which were only about half) so I sent an email to the 'contact us' telling them to cancel my account... then I was charged again the next month. I ended up having to tell my card company to no longer honor payments by this site just to get my account cancelled because they wouldn't respond and had no options for the user to do so themselves.

I wanted one report
I wanted one report. I put in my credit card # and it said not valid. Tried another, not valid. I was concerned about a scam. The site would not allow me to proceed to obtain the report as I hadn't paid. Found out payment had been deducted from one of my "invalid cards". A scam for sure.
