I had an extremely negative experience with MyKreator and I strongly advise against using their services. Here's a detailed review highlighting all the issues I encountered:
1. Marnix, the owner of the company, is highly unprofessional and unreliable. From the very beginning, he failed to deliver on his promises and made the entire process incredibly frustrating.
2. One of the major red flags was the payment structure. Initially, Marnix promised commission-only payments to influencers. However, just after a week, he suddenly changed his mind and requested to switch to flat rates plus commission. This inconsistency and lack of transparency raised doubts about the integrity of his business practices.
3. MyKreator's approach to integrating with Shopify was a nightmare. They required the installation of multiple apps that significantly slowed down my store's performance. This not only resulted in a poor user experience for my customers but also affected my website's search engine rankings.
4. The company's case studies seemed suspiciously fake. They appeared to be fabricated to entice new customers. This deceptive tactic further eroded my trust in the company and made me question the legitimacy of their claims.
5. Another issue I faced was a company email for communication. MyKreator relies on spamming hundreds of influencers using these email accounts. This not only reflects poorly on their professionalism but also harms the domain's reputation, causing important emails to end up in spam folders.
6. MyKreator's response time was abysmal. Whenever I had concerns or needed assistance, they were slow to respond and often provided excuses for not meeting deadlines. This lack of prompt communication added unnecessary delays and hindered progress.
7. It became evident that Marnix and his team had no understanding of my target audience or products. Their pitches to influencers were poorly executed and failed to generate any meaningful results. It was clear that they had not done their due diligence and lacked the expertise necessary to effectively promote my business.
Considering all the aforementioned issues, I strongly recommend seeking alternative options for influencer marketing. Either find another agency with a better track record or consider handling the marketing in-house. MyKreator's services yielded absolutely no new influencers, no revenue, and only wasted hours of my valuable time. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by avoiding their services altogether.
