What a great experience with My Holiday 2. Lots of emails with questions prior to the trip were answered promptly which put us at ease. The whole trip was perfectly organised and their affiliates that they work with in Egypt are very professional. We will definitely be using My Holiday 2 for our next adventure. Support a small Australian business and give them a go. Thanks Guys, Shaun and Victoria.

The Hurtigruten deal MyHoliday2 put together was great value. Flights, hotels and all transfers included. Hurtigruten was the best! We had a great trip with so many inclusions - even wine with meals. You do pay extra for kayaking and camping if you want but all daily landings and zodiac tours are included. We had informative lectures on board every day and the scientists travelling with us spoke about their research and joined guests for dinner. Just can’t fault this tour. So many activities, gourmet food and the scenery in Antartica is beyond imagination. This trip exceeded my expectations.

Terrible communications and no after sales services whatsoever if things go wrong. We recently used MyHoliday2 to book flights and a Hurtigruten Nowegian cruise. The cruise was wonderful however we had been booked on a connecting flight to Norway from Copenhagen with only a 1 hour transit time. Unfortunately we missed that flight due to delays at passport control. We were unable to contact MyHoliday2 as they have no after hours emergency contact number and had to book and pay for another connecting flight. When we did arrive at our ship we found that MyHoliday2 had booked us in a double rather than a twin cabin. Worse still unbeknown to us we had been marked as a "no show" for the original connecting flight and all our return flights to Australia had been cancelled. We were not advised of this by either the airline or MyHoliday2 and did not discover this until the day before our return when we tried to reserve seats for our return flights. As we did not book the tickets the airline would only deal with MyHoliday2 and not us directly. MyHoliday2 sold us emergency flights home (at the same price we were able to get online), but despite many emails requesting that they, as booking agents, find out why this happened and to assist in claims against travel insurance and/or the airline, they have not done so, and we are now out nearly $6,000 for the additional flights. We have continously received assurances that they would look into this but 6 weeks later still have heard nothing. We also had to chase them before our trip for final booking confirmations for our cruise and airport transfer vouchers.

We had a wonderful experience seeing the cherry blossoms all over Japan. Our tour had a big group but everything ran smoothly and to time. The tour covered all the highlights and was a perfect introduction to Japan for all ages. The guide gave information about each town and monument but we found it useful to collect English information pamphlets at each site. We were very lucky with the weather but it would be good to give future travels more information on contingencies if there is bad weather. All hotels were comfortable. Include meals were pleasant.

I enjoyed my recent trip to Sri Lanka. The driver and the assistant could not be faulted. It was the first group tour (9 people) for our guide who was a personable young man and seemed quite knowledgeable about his country but to begin with he wasn’t always able to explain organisational details adequately. Our accommodation remained as per the itinerary but he swapped many of the activities around so each day was a full one and became tiring as most of us are in our 70’s. Our free time was non-existent until the end of the tour when we had one full day and two half days at Hikkaduwa. Apart from the cooking class in a private home, all other optional activities became mandatory as there was no provision made for those who didn’t want to participate. Having said that, most of the optional activities were well worth taking. After some consultation, on our last day our guide arranged to pick us up for lunch and undertake some non-strenuous activities before dropping us at the airport. All in all a great tour in a fascinating country.

We recently did a South Korea & Japan tour and it was supposed to be a small group but there were about 70 people in 2 tour busses. We advised you guys that my wife was a celiac but they said they were not advised of the same by the travel agent and were not that helpful and were left to ourselves to discuss the meals that were included with the restaurant owners. The guides were fine but the one in Japan didn’t take into account the age of some of the people and expected them to be able to walk fast.
Most of the hotels were good but a lot of them didn’t have a bar or food available when we were not back to the hotel until 7.30 to 8.00 at night. I would have liked to give its 3.5 stars but no option for this

Came across Myholiday2 when searching for budget all inclusive holiday packages.
After a few emails back and forth I ended up booking my Borneo tour and stay in Kuala Lumpur.
All communication was via email or chat and although some of the responses were a day or so delayed, they answered all my questions and gave suggestions on some changes.
Myholiday2 staff accommodate me with changing my lay over into a 5 day extension with minimal fuss and cost.
I am the type of person who wants to have everything lined up and squared away a month or 2 in advanced and did question things like who to contact in Borneo in case of emergencies etc which MH2 were able to direct me to the right place on the vouchers for this information.
All in all had a nice experience and will definitely use again.
Trip was fantastic and everything was as described in the itinerary

Great tour with a great group of people. The small group tour of Egypt and Jordan was truely special and the guides supplied were absolute stars. Highly recommend this trip to anyone with these countries on their radar.

Very bad communication and the staff don't know much when you ask for information. It's the least helpful and most incompetent travel agency I have ever used. I won't book again.
PS
I do not wish to communicate with you directly but happy to provide supporting evidence to Trustpilot.

Our Borneo trip was fantastic. The tour group was small and our guide was excellent. Food and accommodation were simple and well done. The trip was well planned and gave us exceptional opportunities to see the wonderful wildlife up close. We stayed around Sandakan with river jungle and island experiences. I think I would visit Kota Kinabalu as well because we could not find music, local crafts or sea swimming in Sandakan.

My son and I are going to Turkey this year for the Anzac day memorial. It is a bucket list for me, booking and talking with staff has been great experience, we are looking forward to meeting new people and paying our respects to the Anzacs and heroes who have passed in other wars.

We recently returned from a 10 day tour of Sri Lanka overall the tour was very good the hotels very excellent you couldn’t fault them , but a couple of things we didn’t enjoy one our driver was a great guy but drove like a maniac which was comfortable for us or the couple with us and that’s saying something as we’ve-toured India secondly on the day before we left we decide to have some sea food at our hotel big mistake we noticed it was flavourless and not fresh consequently we both went down with terrible food poisoning so be careful the trip was great the local food great just not the sea food

After 4 years and two months I have finally received a refund for a holiday I payed for, minus $1000. Nothing but dishonesty. I would never ever recommend this company.
It’s a shame that I can not upload photos as I have lots of proof about the lies that Brunei airlines had not refunded the ticket cost, when once I contacted Royal Brunei airlines themselves, they told me they had given the money back to the company 14 months earlier.
Also to be told by the owner “do you expect me to take the money out of our pockets” when in fact the airline had put the money back into the their pocket 10 months earlier….
They fail to mention below that they were offering 80% of the land portion only and even though there were numerous emails and phone calls from myself to them re the status of the flight portion, they continued up until last week to tell me that Royal Brunei airlines had not refunded it yet. I called Royal Brunei myself last week to find out that they had refunded it 14 months ago.

We are still on this torturous “holiday” in Borneo. Can’t wait for it to end. Started off bad with the overnight flight from Sydney then a 5 hour layover in KL. Kota Kinabalu is an unattractive place, with lots of development happening that is scarring the coastline. Not much to do there. The islands are OK but coral is bleached and largely dead and a minimum of sea life. Lots of barriers and signs restricting people. The tea plantation was OK but strung out too long. Too many stops at war memorials, though very moving, why do it 3 times? The 6 hour drive from Sabah Tea to the Sepilok Jungle “resort” was excruciating- road works and choked with trucks the whole way. Hundreds of acres of palm oil plantations which have destroyed the native forests and displaced the wildlife. So depressing and ugly. This was NOT mentioned in the itinerary. I have hip pain and found it terrible. It is negligent that this was not clearly described before booking. Sepilok is nice and saw some wildlife, but again, depressing knowing these animals have been shunted into this small area due to environmental vandalism. Food is terrible. Mainly generic Chinese slop. Can’t get a salad or a fruit salad despite the abundance of beautiful produce around. Not even a banana smoothy - the waitress said “we don’t have any bananas”!! There are hundreds of them in the markets!! Now the horrible prospect of a 7 hour layover in KL before the overnight flight home. This is my first, and last, package “holiday”. I almost booked an early flight home last night - I noticed I could get one with Air Asia very cheap and only a 2 hour layover in KL. I realise that many people like these package deals as it is all done for them and they might not have the experience or confidence to travel independently. But please go into this with eyes wide open. You can book your own flights to suit you. You can get in touch with a local tour company to tailor your own holiday, at a much cheaper price. I recommend just flying into Sandakan and spending maybe 4 days in the jungle seeing wildlife, then fly out again. I don’t recommend Kota Kinabalu. Try to eat in local places that aren’t for the tourists. Support the locals rather than a big company. I hope this helps.

This as my first holiday with MyHoliday2. The first few days were strange as we were basically left to do our own things with our Tour Guide telling us to call him if we needed anything - this has not been the norm for the many group trips I have done with other Tour groups before. We didn-t meet the whole group until Day 3 - also strange as we all commented that a Meet & Greet Dinner that first night would have been ideal. In saying that we had a great group & had many laughs together. We managed to get a driver organised through the consierge for us & took in his City Tour w which was great. He knew where to position is for the best photo's, had us laughing lots & was very knowledgable & easy to understand. We also had dinner at the Fish Markets close by to our accomadation & you have to try the fish - so fresh & delicious. Not a fan of the giant prawns - were a bit tough. It was great to get out of KK & get to the animals that we had all come to see. The Kandasang War Memorial was well worth the visi. Learning about the Sandakan Death March via a vidoe had many in tears & really highlighted their strength & bravery - something to never forget. Who doesn't love Orangutans & that our accommadation was just down the road from the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre & the Sun Bear Conversation Centre was fabulous. The Labuk Bay Proboscic Monkey Sanctuary was like no experience before. The arrival of the bachelors was both unexpected & exhilerating. They ran up into our observation areas banging along the way & then up onto the roof - it was such a amazing things to experience & a definite dont miss in Borneo. The food was the biggest let down for me personally as was not the Malaysian style I was hoping for but very Chinese style & not good chinese. The food at the Bilit Adventure Lodge was what we were all hoping for - great selection, fresh, tasty & more malay style. Could not fault the food, accommadation & service here. The Kinabatangan River & Jungle expeditions were fabulous. The only thing we didn't find was elephants. there were so many other intersesting places that we visted. I would recommend this trip as it was great value & 13 days was perfect. If you are after souvenirs don't wait to the end buy them as you will be dissappointed. Get them early.

As a single traveller I wanted an adventure… but also easy, comfortable and safe travel. Myholiday2 guided tour delivered!
Sri Lanka was an amazing destination!
We saw Buddhist cave temples, got up close to wild elephants, climbed lion rock, saw sea turtles at the beach … the list goes on.
Thank you it was a fantastic trip.
My only feedback is around tipping. We were advised we only needed to tip the driver and yet he said we needed to tip every tour guide. It’s only small amounts and it’s money going to the right people, but that needed to be clear up front when booking the tour.

From the pick up at the airport to drop off this was a truly amazing holiday! Everything ran so smoothly. The wildlife we got to see and the experiences we had were the best. Ray was our tour guide and we couldn't have asked for better. He was super helpful, informative and such a laugh. Jum, our driver, was always happy and helpful. And all the staff at the different resorts were great. And we made some fantastic friends 🥰.
Some of the rooms were "rustic" but that was to be expected.
Don't think about it, just book it!!!

We have recently returned from a fantastic holiday in Sri Lanka. My husband and I travelled with 4 other Aussies in a very comfortable, airconditioned van. At times we had difficulty with the language barrier as the driver/guide spoke quietly and fast. Due to this, the people in the back of the van did not hear lots of the commentary. The van was always spotless and water bottles for us all was provided every day.
My only siggestion to MyHoliday2 is, take the trip and advise travellers of the tipping that is required. Every time you have to store your shoes at a temple, you need to pay to get them back. Even though you have paid for an experience on the tour, you are also advised by the guide that you MUST pay a tip. Even though it was not a huge amount, there were times when we were not expecting it and had not managed to get rupees beforehand.
