Can’t live up to all promises
They made promises that they could work with all financial institutions to reduce my interest rate and monthly minimum payment. They were able to work with several of the financial institutions, but there were three they were unable to arrive at any type of compromise.

Our goal is always to work with as many creditors as possible. However, there are situations where certain accounts are already enrolled in separate arrangements directly with creditors, which can affect how those accounts can be handled within a Debt Management Plan. In some cases, clients also choose to continue managing specific accounts outside of the program based on their individual circumstances.

Unemployed at 55 for the First Time

AFS helped me take a dire situation and turn it into a story of triumph. I was behind on payments and was sent to collections, which I knew was going to poorly affect my credit. When I started a plan with AFS, I felt like I had direction and support to correctly navigate the situation I was in. American Financial Solutions was a lifesaver for me. They helped me every step of the way from getting my finances in order to coming up with a plan to pay off all my debt. I had so many loans and credit cards that it became extremely overwhelming. The first person I spoke to at AFS, Jennifer, was so nice and expressed a lot of empathy for my situation.
