Alhamdulilahi for the successful journey to Makkah and medinah for Umurah with family. We all enjoyed the services of Muslim holy travel through Abdul Rehman who gave us every support needed to secure a five star hotel accommodation nearest to the haram. Abdul Rehman Was always available to answer and respond to all my queries and I am highly impressed and satisfied with his services both before and during the journey. Jazakulahu khairan brother.

Lack of commitment,not gonna recommend it

I booked an Umrah package with Muslims Holy Travel and paid a £400 deposit (£50 per person for 8 people) after the agent, Tanveer, specifically told me that the deposit was to reserve our flight seats. He said he would let me know when the flights were ready to be issued.

On Thursday he told me to wait till Saturday. Two days later, I was told that the remaining payment of approximately £6,000 was due by Tuesday. On Monday, I tried to contact him to make the payment. He told me it was fine and that I could come to the office. Shortly after that phone call I was told that the flights had been cancelled by Tanveer.

I then asked what happened to my £400 deposit as I was led to believe my seats were reserved because of the deposit. This is when the explanation changed. I was told that the £400 had supposedly already been used to pay for our hotels upfront.

This was completely unexpected. My understanding was that I was booking an Umrah package, not separately paying for a hotel while the flight arrangement could simply disappear. If the flights were cancelled and the package could not proceed as agreed, I expected the deposit to be dealt with fairly and transparently.

I asked for proof that my £400 had actually been paid to the hotels, but this was not provided.

I was then presented with a completely different package that I had never requested, with a price of £7,245. I refused because this was not the package I had originally agreed to.

There was also a threat that I had signed an invoice and they refused a refund due to it stating that it is non-refundable. However, this invoice was only provided and signed after I had already paid the £400 deposit. They also FAILED to mention their terms and conditions before payment. My argument is that none of the agreed package has been delivered therefore the invoice is void. They also claim to be ATOL protected - Under ATOL and UK Package Travel Regulations, they are legally required to issue a full refund within 14 days if a package flight is cancelled. They are actively violating these regulations by withholding my deposit.

Since then, rather than properly addressing my concerns about the original booking, the deposit, the cancelled flights and the explanation regarding the hotel payment, I have received a whole different package including different flights and hotels. A completely different arrangement. Not once but twice.

I have repeatedly tried to get a straightforward explanation and resolution, but my actual concerns have not been addressed. I have therefore had to escalate the matter.

For me, the biggest issue is not simply that flights were cancelled — these things can happen. It is how the situation was handled afterwards, including the changing explanation about my deposit, the refusal to provide evidence, and the attempt to move me onto a different package rather than resolving the original agreement.

For your own protection, I would strongly recommend paying by debit card or credit card where possible rather than making a bank transfer.

I am sharing my experience so that anyone considering booking an Umrah journey can make an informed decision. Get everything confirmed in writing, make sure you understand exactly what your deposit covers and what happens if the package cannot proceed, and keep all correspondence and payment records.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend paying a deposit without being absolutely clear about how it is protected if the package cannot proceed or simply avoid this company.

Absolute nightmare with Mr Faizal and Mr Tanveer!Do not trust this agency! Two days before our flight, they caused massive panic by lying that they didn't have my family member's visa just to extort more cash from us. Then our flights got cancelled and they flat-out refused to rebook them unless we paid them extra money! They put us on the most cramped, awful flights and lied saying there would be no food. To top it off, our hotel in Istanbul looked like a run-down rented house where they used old towels instead of blankets! Absolute disgrace. IN THE END AVOID AT ALL COSTS PLS!!! ❌

UNACCEPTABLE AND ATROCIOUS SERVICE!!! 🤬 Mr Faizal and Mr Tanveer completely ruined our trip!!!DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS AGENCY!!! I have traveled to Saudi Arabia, Makkah, and Madinah three times now, and our experiences the past two times with other providers were completely fine. But this recent trip with Mr Faizal and Mr Tanveer was absolutely atrocious!!! There were five of us, including three young children, and they put my family through pure hell from start to finish!!! In my opinion, they have zero professional standards and no empathy!!! 🤮We booked and agreed on a price a whole year in advance, but they continuously harassed us and demanded more money after the deal was already finalized!!! We paid for 4-star hotels, but they breached our agreement and downgraded us to rubbish 3-star places instead!!! Then, literally TWO DAYS before we were meant to fly, they caused severe distress by claiming they didn't have the visa for my family member and demanding extra money to get it. This felt like a complete setup to get more cash out of us, because they actually had the visa the whole time and only handed it over the day before we left!!! 😡Then our flights got cancelled and they flat out refused to rebook them unless we gave them even more money!!! We had to literally force them just to get another flight booked!!! They put us on the worst, most cramped flights (the one from Saudi to Turkey was a joke!!!) and told us there would be no food on the plane!!! ✈️❌When we finally got to Makkah, the hotel reception told us our travel agent DIDN'T EVEN PAY FOR THE ROOM!!! The hotel owners explicitly told us they had been chasing him for payment for a week!!! To make matters worse, the hotel staff actually woke us up from our sleep in the early morning and kicked us out of the hotel because of his unpaid booking!!! Doing this to a family with three kids is absolutely unforgivable!!! We were left stranded for two hours wandering the streets looking for a place to stay!!! The room they finally scrambled to get us was a tiny, disgusting box!!! We couldn't even fit our luggage inside, the sink was blocked, the shower head was broken, and THERE WERE ACTUALLY RATS IN THE HOTEL!!! IT WAS COMPLETELY INFESTED AND FILTHY!!! 🐀🤢When we complained about how terrible the hotel was, Mr Faizal actually had the nerve to say to us: "Why can't you ever compromise with anything? You actually have to compromise with the situation, please."!!! Absolute cheek!!! Why should we have to compromise on a rat-infested room when we paid for a 4-star package and they kept demanding extra money from us!!!We were forced to find our own hotel, which was bigger, cheaper, and way better!!! But when we asked for a refund for the unlivable room, they tried to shortchange us. They claimed the tiny broken room cost MORE than the good one, and said they would only refund the cheaper amount!!! We had to fight and pressure them for days just to get our own money back, and every day it was the same excuse: "tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow!!!" Then on the last two days they just went and changed our hotel on us again anyway!!!To finish off the nightmare, the place they gave us in Istanbul looked like a run-down old rented house!!! The beds were terrible and they were literally using old towels as blankets!!! 🏚️Mr Faizal and Mr Tanveer are completely unprofessional, dishonest in their dealings, and take advantage of families going on a sacred journey!!! They are an absolute disgrace!!! 🛑IN THE END AVOID AT ALL COSTS PLS!!! ❌

Would never recommend!! Booked to go Umrah with my family of 4 in March 26. Paid £6000 for flights, hotels and transport. Trip was cancelled on FCDO advice due to Iran-US war and we were going through Qatar which was under attack then. We only got £1810 refunded by MHT. They never provided us with the details of how much the flights and hotels costs were and were not readily available when contacted afterwards. We were left short by over £4000! Would NEVER recommend!!
