We hired this company to work on two walls and two columns in Sa Ràpita, Mallorca. At first, they created a good impression with quick and responsive communication. Their sales representative, Pedro, visited promptly and put together an estimate and contract without delay.

However, that’s where the professionalism ended. The price was already steep, and in hindsight completely disproportionate to the actual work delivered. The team spent no more than two days on-site drilling holes for wall protection and returned once briefly to measure humidity—charging €5,000 incl. VAT for this.

Despite clear assurances from Pedro, the walls and columns were left unfinished. Instead of completing the job as agreed, we were confronted with an additional offer to “finish” the work at extra cost.

This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch: get the foot in the door with partial work, then upsell the rest. We were left with unfinished construction and no real support. Not acceptable.

We contacted them because we had a humidity problem. They came and said we had to inject the walls. They were even sending our wall to the lab to check the injections they needed. It sounded that it would solve the problem.

We did the treatment and we had to wait ONE YEAR to let the wall dry. We did this and then they came back. They made more holes in the walls ‘ to check the humidity’ and they said it is now below their maximum. The case is… we still have the same problem and it didnt help at all. The engineer told us we need a ventilacion system, but this is not what to adviced us. And that the treatment is not working against your problem is not guaranteed

Now we are repairing the walls and we found out that there has been drilled a lot of holes. But a lot of them are not injected at all.

After all,
-injections is a good way against humidity in the walls. But in our case this was not the problem (although they said it was, and they are ‘experts’)
- this treatment was badly done
- it is super super overpriced
- they dont advice about humidity they just sell treatments against it.

Within a few days MURPROTEC scheduled an in-home inspection/sales call, during which we discussed options and recommendations. A few days later, a technician arrived to talk through the installation in more detail: more recommendations and clear-cut expectations about what to expect from the system.
A week later the unit was installed in a very prompt, clean and efficient manner. It took most of the day for a 4-bedroom flat but a quick mop after he left and there was no trace of him being there.
In the weeks since the system was installed, we have seen a dramatic decrease in ambient humidity: no more moisture on windows, even on coldest mornings; no damp walls; lighter, crisper air in general. We used to see morning humidity levels of 65% or higher, now we are between 40-45%, which is ideal. It's early days but so far we are very happy with the investment.
The only thing that remains to be seen is the impact on our electricity bills. We run the system at 10% from 8:00 until 23:00 and at 60% overnight. Once warmer days arrive we will be able to pause the system while we have the windows open.
It's not a small investment but if it solves your moisture problem forever it is well worth it. Winter humidity in Valencia can be a nightmare.
