Itinery brilliant, cabin great but MSC just seem to want more money money money from customers when not a cheap holiday in the first place.

Despite an excellent itinerary, I felt the cruise line simply treats its customers like cash-cows. Definitely not what I'd expect a cruise to deliver in dining experience or customer care

Generally a great experience but let down by poor shore excursions and lack of awareness of halal food.

Seems like they are trying to sell you excursions aftermarket restaurants and other products to make the money

My father took me on an MSC VIRTUOSA cruise 2 years ago;

I enjoyed myself that much I booked 2 more cruises whilst on board to take my girlfriend on the same ship!!

WE are recently returned from a Norwegian Fjords cruise and I have booked 2 more!!

The crew and staff are exceptional;
The service is excellent;
Superb value for money!

Easy to start your holiday within 1 hour of arrival at cruise terminal
Staff friendly , cabin always clean, ship clean, food good, but be warned not a great variety for vegans.
Entertainment on the whole good.

Naik our butler in Yacht club was amazing! We also really loved Desi and Henry in Top Sail. We cruised for my husbands 40th birthday and everyone in YC made it so special, thank you MSC and we will see you again soon!!

MSC Virtuosa to Iceland and Norway.
I had long wated to visit Iceland, and was happy to visit some Norwegian ports that I had not previously cruised to.
Ship was about 3/4 full, so not too much pressure on the on-board facilities.
Very good theatre shows but the on-board lectures could have been better: who knew that Stonehenge is in Scotland?????

Staff were every bit as hard working and attentive as on previous cruises, and overall it was a very special holiday for my wife and I.

Would I go back to Iceland? Probably not by cruise, as it would likely visit the same ports. Maybe tour by camper van if I ever win the lottery......

Would I go back to Norway? Maybe on a winter cruise....

Overall, it was a fantastic holiday. There were points where I truly wished that we could just stay there forever.

Embarked at Kusadasi. A total free for all. No priority boarding for Aurea. In fact no reservation at all. Had to go to customer services. Had to repay for internet and drinks package. We had a refund later on. Room not equipped
No dressing gown, slippers, prosecco or chocolate. No twin beds as ordered.
Top18 deck. Great sun loungers but no umbrella or shade so a total waste of time. Hand sanitizer machines mainly empty
Food ok but limited to MDR and buffet.
Very busy ship. Rude people.
All bar and restaurant staff were excellent.
Entertainment in theatre very good
All other musicians in bars very poor.
Extra work for bar staff having to refill water bottles.
Room service delivery ok but water for tea was like warm. So a waste of time.

Great itinerary, great value for money.

MSc do loads of things right they are a top company, and I always say you can find good and bad in all cruise companies, msc are one of the best although can be very expensive compared to others, for onboard activities and excursions, but overall great company.

The food was not satisfied

Provide tea and coffee facilities in your room at least.reasonbly priced trips.room size was small.drinks package are expensive unless your fortunate to get a deal and drinks could be priced reasonably.tea and coffee could be made available through the day also without paying extra and no charges for water..I would look else were other than MSC,had a better experience with Cunard and P&O

Tried MSC yacht club and its fantastic
Apart from drinks and internet you also have a bar/lounge area plus restaurant. The top deck area has food and drink with a pool and hot tub. A butler to take you to shows and boarding/disembarking
Staff have more time per person

We are sorry to say that the onboard experiences and entertainment on MSC Virtuosa seemed to be obviously aimed at being less intellectual, compared with other cruise lines we have experienced. The actual essential cooking detail standards were below par. The choices for true healthy eating does not seem to have been given enough consideration. The ship itself was fine and well run, as were most staff.
