I took my car in for a service and…
I took my car in for a service and expected no problems as my car was less than 3 years old however on collecting it I was presented with a list of ‘problems’ ranging from a pollen filter that needed replacing to spark plugs and tyres!! I can understand needing to replace tyres but it smacked of trying to squeeze more money out of me as my hybrid service only cost me £200!!! After agreeing to having two tyres replaced I then went to collect my car and was told I would need my wheels rebalancing, forgive me if I’m wrong but I always thought the wheels were rebalanced as a matter of course after having new tyres fitted!! I was charged extra for rebalancing!! I won’t be using them again!!

Dear Mrs Moir,
We are disappointed to read your review and would like clarify some of what you have commented on. When we carried out the service as per the recommended manufacturers service schedule on the 7th November 2025 we advised two tyres as they were on 2mm of tread, a pollen filter and brake fluid change as this is recommended as per the Toyota service schedule and the spark plugs as we do not change these as part of the service.
This is certainly not us trying to squeeze more money out of you, it is us advising that you had two tyres that were close to the legal limit and items advised as per your vehicles manufacture service schedule.
You returned a few days later when we replaced the two tyres and also carried out the front wheel alignment, as part of the alignment service we always advise for the customer to return for a free re-check. According to our vehicle history, at no point have we charged you for re-balancing your wheels.

Top Service As Always.
I typically visit Mr. Tyre for my vehicle's tire needs. Today marked my first experience with their MOT service. The waiting room was comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly. They were happy to discuss matters with me, and the service was always prompt, which I greatly appreciate. In my opinion, I cannot find any fault with this establishment, I think I've found a new place for all my vehicle needs.

No breakdown list from the interim service…
Usually really good service me and my family have been using this branch for a number of years.
Car went for service and disappointing that there was no breakdown list from the interim service so no feedback not sure what if anything needs to be done soon for example no idea if tyre treads are ok ect
