French polisher is a magician. I needed a patch repair on my oak engineered floors - pretty much everyone said that this couldn't be done and that I'd need to get the whole floor refinished if it was possible at all. Josh is a magician and totally remedied the problem in half a day without any disruption at all, taking care to make sure it looked good from all angles. You'd never know that work was done unless you were actively looking for it, and it should get better as time goes by. Patch floor repair seems to be a service that is quite hard to find. It's not cheap as such, but once you factor in the costs of moving furniture, renting an airbnb for a night or two... it really is so much cheaper and less hassle. Obviously will recommend to others! Mr Sander were really good about being proactively in contact too.

Davey turned up within the half-hour slot he gave me and, throughout the 6-7 hours it took him to sand and varnish my kitchen floor, he was courteous and considerate. The floor looks excellent, with a new lease of life. Highly recommended!

The initial contact was good, I was updated carefully by the admin team.
On the day of the appointment, I was told that a different contractor would be coming. It was my understanding that the original person was in the install team, however the one who actually came was from the sanding division, so not ideal.

I booked a half day morning off work - my appointment was for between 10-12. At about 1230 I called the company to ask where the contractor was. The lady gave me his number, saying she would call and find out, and that I should too. I mistakenly assumed she would call first, and then call me back to let me know why the contractor was delayed but this didn't happen.
I then called him myself around 1300 to ask what was happening. Apparently, he had me in the 1330-1530 slot!
This was very frustrating as I work zero hours and depend on every hour of work, so I was unable to work the afternoon and lost half a day's wages.

The contractor was, to his credit, very apologetic, said it was his fault and came as quickly as he could, probably around 2pm.

In 1 minute, he already said the entire floor needing lifting and reinstalling, and was promoting sanding.
After my probing him, he offered other solutions, saying he was a sanding contractor, not a repair contractor. He left saying he would speak with the correct contractors for their opinion, and the company would email me back.

To date, I have heard nothing - the appt was 19 Aug and here we are 10 days later.

I have yet to find a company that actually offers solutions rather than the bog standard 'rip it all up, use our new flooring (nothing is damaged or broken) and pay us £££.'

Avoid this company unless you want sanding done.

2 stars because the admin lady was helpful and the second contractor was apologetic.

We were very nervous about using more tradesmen after a recent bad experience , however this was amazing from start to finish. Davey came to give us a quote and listened to how apprehensive we were, he arrived at the time agreed, his attention to detail was second to none a true perfectionist! Had an excellent experience with Mr Sander. Called them as the sander I had initially contacted fell through and we really needed to get one in before moving in a week later. I spoke with a lovely receptionist who got in touch with the technician right away. Got extremely lucky as they’re very busy but they had availability for the next two days! Arben came by for an initial assessment and then got to work the next day. The living room, dining room and hallway parquet flooring was in quite poor condition and Arben was amazing. Very professional and patient in explaining the process and different options, as I know very little about parquet floors. He finished the job after two days and the floor looks absolutely beautiful now, the difference is unbelievable. Looks like a brand new wooden floor!

Kieran worked really hard and completed lounge, dining room and hallway in one day. The quality of finish was completed to a very high standard, would definitely recommend.

Lee did a really great job restoring our original floor boards and carefully replacing boards which proved tricky with uneven floor.

Had an issue with appointments, now rescheduling and been compensated.

Don’t look for anywhere else if you need floor work. Mr Sander team visited our place free of charge, they gave us a quote (no hidden fees or bullshit), the team arrived on time and finished the floor work with high quality in 3 days as they promised. I highly recommend

Alan and Alex are very professional and conscientious. They arrive on time and stay until they have achieved their goal for the day. They fitted engineered oak flooring to our hall, dining room and laundry rooms. The installation is excellent and has transformed the appearance of these spaces. Everyone who visits is very impressed so much so that a friend wants them to do the same work for him and Alex has already done the site survey. Highly recommended, do not hesitate to use them.

Arben and the team at Mr Sander did an absolutely fantastic job fixing some bad water damage to engineered wood floors in our rental property. They were quick, professional and friendly - would definitely use them again (in fact, we are going to very soon)!

My engineered wood flooring looks like new! Kieran was polite, explained the process fully and did an excellent job. I whole heartedly recommend Mr Sander
