The platform didn’t offer a great variety of options, although it did include MoreYoga, which I’m already signed up with for unlimited sessions. Some sessions required MoveGB to contact the venue in order to book me in, so the process wasn’t always immediate.
I had a disappointing experience when I booked a class that ended up being cancelled the night before. I turned up and waited at the door, only to find no one there. MoveGB didn’t inform me of the cancellation, so I had to contact the venue directly. They told me it had been cancelled the night before, but this wasn’t reflected on the MoveGB system.
I also booked a trial aerial session, only to receive an email from the venue saying it had actually been removed and was no longer available. Additionally, cancelling my 2 week trial with MoveGB wasn’t straightforward there was no cancel button, and I had to contact them directly. (no reply until 4 days later.)
Overall, the system didn’t feel smooth or automated, and some of the advertised sessions were not up to date. Needs improvement in terms of communication and reliability.

I’m sorry, but the customer service at MoveGB has gone downhill massively. They don’t have the staff to man the phones to get back to anyone. Theres a 5 hour wait on the chat box function. If anything goes wrong forget resolution on the day. They need to invest in more staff or resolve underlying issues of running out of passes!
For example 4 passes a month, but 52 weeks in a year. Divide 52 by 4 and you have 13 months (this is due to all the extra days in months ie 30 or 31 days) added up. Therefore 5 passes a month, not 4 is what’s required for MoveLite membership. Just adjust prices to take this into account, as the hassle of not having enough passes per week for the whole year causes a lot of problems and shouldn’t have to call in to resolve a basic miscalculation of the passes needed on the membership.

It’s been a great app for me, pushing me to use my 4 swim sessions each month which is all I needed alongside my outdoor sports. Communication has always been quick and very polite if ever i ve had any issues

MoveGB seemed like a good deal however unless you pick the top package, everything has additional fees. I pay around £45 a month and have to pay an additional £3 per class, bringing the fees up massively, which wasn't made clear when signing up.
That being said - the last 4 days i've had issues booking classes through the app and web browser. It flagged up a number to ring for help, and when i did, got through to the venue itself, who said it was MoveGB i had to speak to as understandably, its their website - sneaky and unhelpful of MoveGB not to put their own number in their error messages.
i tried to contact MoveGB on two social media platforms and got no response. I eventually emailed and got a reply and they gave me a couple of credits to use for classes which was helpful, as i was still unable to book so didn't actually solve the problem. The following day they I contacted them again and they told me its a billing issue (funny that it can take £45 a month direct debit with no issues but when i actually try and book a class, thats suddenly an issue). Having spoken to the bank they've advised they can't see anything stopping the one-off payments at their end and i've had no other issues with online payments etc using this card.
Its been non stop back and forth with MoveGB for 2 days and counting now, with them being very friendly but not actually very helpful. I would cancel but i have another 3 weeks of membership paid for, so i'd simply be losing money if i did that. Wouldn't recommend and won't be renewing.

I booked a free taster class on their website. They charged me £55 without notifying me. I’ve emailed/ called the customer service over the phone multiple times. It seems they make the refund impossible even thought it’s their fault to charge me. They said they will give me a refund but it’s been 2 weeks, no news! All they did was deleting my account. So now I have to call my bank to report an online scam! Outrageous!

I’m loving Move, wayy more than I thought I would… it’s been great for my lifestyle and I’ve definitely noticed a saving in how much I used to pay for fitness 😅
