Motel One Reviews 

Needed to cancel our reservation (Motel One Amsterdam) due to Corona and a cancelled event. They charged 90% no show fee.
Look for another hotel if you get a chance. We will never do business with this company again, ever!

I only ever seem to put poor reviews on TP and I wanted to change that. Motel One in Newcastle has been newly designed and I wanted to say a huge thank you to the wonderful staff for our night away last night. Love the design and love the incredibly helpful staff.... it couldn’t have been better for the price. I’m going to try Manchester next!

Motel One in Saarbrücken. The hotel had very small rooms and limited equiped - no kettle or tooth mug.

At the bill the room was clearly specified with breakfast included in the price for the room: breakfast 23 Euro for 2 persons and room price 66 Euro. Even though we were charged another 23 Euro for breakfast!!
The employee, who was very unkind, would not accept that the breakfast was included in the price as specified at the bill!

We will never stay at Mobil One again....

Very time I stay at the one motel I am greeted with friendly staff and the rooms are great to stay in with a queen room at £69 per night great value for money

Edinburgh Motel One

Ten out of ten for location, staff friendliness and the refurbishment is just fabulous!

High end Hotel Aesthetics and facilities at cheap motel prices if you like a bargain with a touch of luxury then you need to check out this chain of hotels. The compact motel size rooms save you money but the beautiful reception, bar, lounge and eating areas provide the comfort and atmosphere of a top end Hotel.
In addition the staff could not be more helpful friendly and accommodating.

I can not recommend this chain of hotels highly enough. You really must give them a try on your next trip.

Nice atmosphere and great interior in the lobby/bar area. On top of that, we experienced a top quality service, with very service minded employees 👏🏼
Nice location next to a U-Bahn, and without any noise from the relative big street below.

I stopped at the Edinburgh Motel One. It was right opposite the xmas martkets ans next to the dungeons. Great location. Not far from the tram. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was poor in comparison to most hotels. Limited selection for vegetarians. The plug sockets in the room where in the most random locations which made it difficult to even make a tea or charge my phone. Toilet was nice and clean. No iron in the room. Overall it was pleasant and the bed was nice.

Stayed at the Edinburgh Princes location,
Great location except in the room I found a ladies bra behind a chair!
Explained this to the front desk, received an apology from the receptionist, expected at least something more for the fact they clearly hadn't cleaned the room correctly
Overall quiet hotel but doubt I would stay again due to this

Motel One Manchester, Royal Exchange, Superb Budget Hotel. In a terrific location, very helpful and friendly staff. Consistent excellence from the housekeeping team.

The decor and atmosphere are just perfect

Very noisy room. Noise coming from somewhere in the Motel One Edinburgh. The guy on night reception wanted to offer me another room, but the place was fully booked. He said it was too loud and went to investigate. Still unacceptably loud 2 hours later.

When I arrived I asked for a quiet room and got a noisy one.. even a hostel is much quieter. My experience not good. Rest was great, but sleep is number one reason why I book into a hotel motel.

The motel is great otherwise, friendly staff, clean room, ideal location.

Stayed at Motel One for 2 nights last weekend.
- Super easy booking, ring direct and all sorted within 3 minutes.
- Location is central with a car park next door, take your ticket into Motel One and they will scan it for 15% off, we payed £22 for two nights.
- Beautiful decor in the reception/bar area.
- Staff were all helpful and friendly and dealt with any queries straight way.
- We stayed in a wheel-chair access room on the 4th floor which was spacious, clean and modern with great lighting (perfect for makeup).
- TV with freeview channels, TV/coffee facilities/hairdryer (massively impressed with the quality)/choice of pillows/plenty of plug sockets
- Great value for money which was the main reason we booked and glad we did so
- Only negative was the free wifi seems to be a foreign ip address so we could not stream programmes from itv/channel 4 etc.

I can't recomend the underground rooms at floor -1 at Motel One Frankfurt
Nice clean rooms, but unfortunatly room heating was not working during my stay. I had 15'C room temperature (room 021). Used the hair dryer for ½ hour to heat up room.
Cleaning ladies knocking doors before 09:00 am is also too early.
