So far? poor communication from one of your recruiters. This is people's lively hoods your playing with. People take time off work or risk their jobs having interviews during working hours, to get ghosted. Recruiters ignoring their LinkedIn messages and taking days to come back to candidates that THEY first approached is very poor form. Will see how this one pans out, and if it doesn't improve then willl be happy to put a call in to his line manager.
A friend of mine tried for a job with spirit aerosystems and told him he was a good fit for the job never heard anything back from them apart from blatant lies and promises despite various emails and phone calls.
LYDIA GORMAN was her name totally useless and should be ashamed of herself yet she employes guys that have no experience or incompetent, people like that cause depression and anxiety in others.
Avoid the company!!! I have travelled from Aberdeen to Glasgow two time already!!! Promising a test very keen for me to start the job at BAE System. When I finally got there two time there was no test apparently my name wasn’t on the system! Phone back morson’s told me to ask for certain people, also trying to tell me test was on a different date!! They cannot pay me for wasting my time to travel and hotel cost but sorry and still wanted to keep me?!!! Do not work for them waste of time and money!!!
Avoid Avoid Avoid this agency is the parent of why recruitment agencies get a bad reputation! I spoke to a women called Lydia Gorman who was advertising a job but didn't have a clue what she was talking about regarding what the role entails, hours, salary, premium salary for shifts, The whole point of an agency is to find this out for you in black and white before attending an interview! not go there blind with no info about it, awful experience with this agent, shows me her terrible communication she has with her so called client who can't find out basic information, don't waste your time talking to them
Unfortunately, my client uses Morson to manage contractors' contracts and pay so I have no choice but to work with them - and I can honestly say in 25 years of being a contractor, Morson is the worst organisation of this type I have ever dealt with. Despite my client renewing my contract several times, I have never received (or signed) copies of the updated copies, meaning I've been operating without a contract for the best part of a year (although have been paid). Similarly, Morson has completely failed to check whether I have up to date business insurances, exposing the client to unnecessary risk. All Morson emails are entitled "Urgent Compliance Requirements" - even though they're mainly low level irrelevant information like their Easter opening hours. They never bother to make any personal contact to check you're ok, that you've read the emails, to let you know your contract has been extended. All you get are these "Urgent Compliance Requirements". Their onboarding procedures expose the client and the contractor to unnecessary IR35 risk from HMRC - and they are in breach of GDPR principles. If you're looking to hire Morson to make your contingent workforce, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
Absolute joke of a company no pay and kept blaming other areas of the Company. No contact or help, stay well clear.
Not an honest company. I got approached by a recruiter via LinkedIn. They share job specifications and salary with you which are interesting, to gain your interest. Afterwards they tell you that your profile is not suitable for the position and they try to sell something to you that is horrible and honestly makes me feel insulted. They don't seem to know anything about the roles they are recruiting for. They have no idea what the job entails. They come across as parasites.
what a complete unprofessional plonker. Rude and very ignorant. Need to get your act together and speak to candidates with respect and not rude and like animals. Lacks professionalism. Avoid this company like the plague. All they do is waste your time & muck you about.
Got a job everything promised was false, because I approached the company and recruiter about both going back on their word I got told I was not needed.
Then to top it all off I was told I would be paid, waited all day as was told after chasing payment it could take up until 6pm and guess what nothing in bank and was told it would be and now office and payroll closed. Thanks for wasting my time and making me now default on bills as you couldn’t even pay me what’s owed!!!
Disgraceful behaviour and pure crooks
They are flaky paying contractors. Unreliable with poor support. Other agencies are better, and given the generally poor standards of agencies, that's saying something.
The chaps at Morsons are highly professional people who get you great contract roles. I dealt with James Headford and was impressed by the honesty and no nonsense way he went about things. Would highly recommend.
Dealing with a guy called Rory who was absolutely fantastic. Got the job I wanted as I had never been contracting before I had lots of question which he was speedy with replying and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend 100%
Pay is crap, they don’t care about your health, they most likely don’t do sick pay, and if you have a reason to be off like being sick, they will end up just firing you anyway, stay away from them not worth your time at all.
I worked for Morson for 5 months. They would either forget to pay you or in the end claim they paid you too much then raise a CCJ against you!!!
My advice is to keep well clear of this organization whether you are an employee or employer.
Extremely poor experience with Morson at Scotland, very poor communication, ive been a professional for over 30 years and wont be using this agency again
Hours always short. Can’t get through to the relevant people at the office, dont reply back to emails.
A few minor points, but overall very helpful and quick to respond to any of my queries. So yes very pleased.
