You can no cancel when you login in online (intentional). The only way to stop them is to cancel your credit card. Good luck!

Deception and fraud
To me it seems like a platform run by amateurs with zero professionalism or integrity. My membership was automatically renewed even when I did not choose to do so, despite a dozen messages to customer service no response or action. Current status is an interesting one: I do not have access to premium services even though I was charged a membership fee, the customer support does not respond. What a garbage platform based on fraud and deceit.

They push reports about research and investing offering a trial period for 14 days and after they would charge a fee in amount of $99.97, however they charged my card immediatly and once you sign up and enter your login information if you want to cancel there is no option to manage your subscription, no option to email, and no option to call customer support, they list phone number 212 736-3100 which belongs to the Empire State Building not Moby.co, I will follow you on social media and inform people of your dealings till you refund my charge.

No way to cancel the subscription
They are purely running the scam. They advertised 14 days free trial and $99 / year. but they charged me immediately after the sign up. they dont have option to cancel the subscription in their app. Sent mutliple mails and no response. Luckily i paid through paypal and contacted paypal . Paypal refunded the amount immediately after filing a dispute stated 'they received multiple disputes about this and refunding my amount back' So be aware of all this before subscribing

Really Fair
I signed up for a reduced rate for 12 months. I used the service on and off and always found the recommendations very good. The research and rationale was always very thorough, and if you were willing to wait, most if not all turned out to be winners. So I'd definitely recommend it for that. But the reason for the 5 stars is because I've decided to play it safer with my investments so I don't need the service anymore. I forgot to cancel, and after a few emails, Moby refunded me the full amount. This seems to be the opposite experience of some on here, so I wanted to say thank you and to give them a shout out. Definitely a good service in my experience, and I would rejoin if my risk appetite changed!

I cancelled my Moby subscription weeks ago, but they keep charging me. I’ve sent multiple emails to their support team. No reply, no acknowledgment, nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating to be ignored. This feels like a deliberate attempt to make cancellation difficult and exploit customers who don’t have time to chase support endlessly. Avoid Moby until they fix their cancellation process and start responding to customers.

Be careful of this company. It is very difficult to cancel services after the introductory offer. We tried to cancel the app and the service before the next yearly installment was due but even after an email, they would not cancel. They essentially said they would not refund anything after 30 days. Well, I'm trying to cancel after a full year, and no, they just want your money. Also in today's volatile market, single stock picks are not very reliable.

Moby has been awesome for helping me through my investing journey. All other sites/programs I've used are often sleezy and just try to upsell me, but Moby has seemingly only been here to help, which I truly appreciate. Haven't seen another company do what they're doing before!
Misleading Renewal Practices and Disappointing Customer Service
I signed up for Moby last year with a promotional deal and used the service off and on. While the daily market updates were occasionally interesting, I wasn’t impressed with their stock picks overall. I had a few small wins, but far more losses, some I’m still trying to recover from. That alone was disappointing, but what truly pushed me away was the poor customer service and shady renewal process.
First, there’s no simple way to cancel. You can’t just log in and click a button, you have to email support. Even then, they don’t honor the first request. Instead, it turns into a back-and-forth that feels intentionally drawn out.
Then there’s the auto-renewal issue. Moby claims they send out reminders before charging your card, but I checked thoroughly, including my spam folder, and I received no such notice. The only “reminder” I got was a $199.95 charge hitting my credit card. I reached out immediately and was told there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only for new users, and sorry, nothing they could do.
Eventually, after pushing, they offered a 50% refund. While that’s better than nothing, it still doesn’t feel right.
Here’s the bottom line:
• There’s no excuse for hiding cancellation behind a slow email process.
• No one should have to fight for basic fairness when they didn’t get a renewal reminder.
• Good customer service is about respecting people’s time, money, and trust, not squeezing every last dollar out of them.
Had Moby been more transparent and ethical, I might’ve returned someday. I might have even recommended them in my investment circles. But after this experience, I won’t be back and I’ll be warning others to avoid them too.

Absolute scam
They follow some super shady practices. I do not even have an account with them and they billed me an annual subscription fee on Android just because someone downloaded the app on my phone. Just straightaway got an email receipt and now they are completely refusing to refund the subscription fee - I've been in touch with them for the last few weeks and they keep going around in circles and saying they can't refund.

I have sent a total of 5 emails over the course of 5 days and have not received one reply. My initial email was just a simple question about a bonus offer that I did not get. My follow up emails were just to try and get a response but now I want to get a refund and no one will reply still. Read the other reviews on here and it’s all the same. I emailed their support, I emailed their link in the welcome letter, I emailed their app feedback address all different places to contact them and not one single reply. It’s just crazy that they can’t reply. I have checked my junk mail they just don’t respond. Again I would like a refund as I’m in my 30 day window and yet I can’t get a reply. Strange how that works.
Updated: Just stop with the BS. I emailed a simple question on Monday 4/21 and did not receive any response until Saturday 4/26. The we don’t know how to check our junk folders excuse is old. If you cared at all about responding promptly we wouldn’t have to send multiple emails so just stop. You don’t respond to customers in a timely manner as is evident from the complaints on this site and then make excuses. I would still be paying for your services if you made ANY attempt to reach out to me in under 5 days. That doesn’t seem like an unreasonable request. You just don’t care so stop lying and turning it around on the consumer. You should be ashamed of how you handled this.
Update #2:
Finally got my money back on May 24! Since I couldn’t get a response in a timely matter I contested the charges with my bank. When Moby finally got back to me even though they said they would issue the a refund the fought my claim and dragged the process on instead of doing the right thing. I had to continue to provide documentation even though they clearly state a 30 day Moby back guarantee and I was a whole 4 days in. Just look on the App Store reviews and here and you will see who this company really is.
