Seriously what a team!! they removed an over 40mt tree with a stump of nearly 1.5mt diameter in just over a day, Great Job!! Super professionals! and very well priced.

Chris & team have done a few big tree jobs for me. Latest one crown & reduce a large oak, reduce a large hornbeam and pollard another. Arrived bright & early, job done by 1.30pm, site left very tidy. Excellent work by a very friendly & knowledgeable team all at a good price. Highly recommended.

I had 3 very large conifers to remove. I have used Chris before and have always found him reliable and efficient. The team did a great job and in record time. They left my garden and road side clean and tidy, even vacuumed by lounge! I would recommend using Mint and Swift. Thank you.

A huge sycamore in my garden blew over in a storm. It was leaning against the neighbour's chimney, and I was scared that any attempt to remove it, or any further storms, would knock the chimney down doing lord-knows-what damage. I called some Tree Surgeons. Some said the job was too big. One wanted to get a crane and charge me £7,000. Chris of Mint&Swift came promptly, a day after my phone call, to have a look. On Monday I asked him to do the job and His team arrived at 8 am the following Wednesday, and by 1.30 that day the tree was gone and all the wood taken away. No damage to the chimney either. Whew! He charged me £3360. Half what the crane guy wanted. The team cleaned up after themselves and were very polite, showing me how they were doing the work, which I liked to see.

Was very happy to find this company. When Chris cam to quote he was amiable and knowledgable. The first quote coincided with serious family issues and a bereavement but it felt safe to call him some time later to requote. His quote wasn't the cheapest but we felt his expertise was comparable with other good tree surgeons we used that were on holiday for when we wanted the work done.

On the day he came to the job, we noticed compared to our usual company there was less experience and equipment in the team (apart from Chris and one other). Chris seemed to become more irritable once he got the job,and things seemed to break down over a minor confusion with one of the trees to be trimmed. Chris then was almost not wanting to honour his quote until we agreed we'd recheck our communications. It was all there in black and white. He agreed then to cut the said tree but it was a tense atmosphere. When we reviewed the overall work, an apple tree was hardly topped and the job on a leylandi wasn't as tidy as we'd hoped. It looks very messy. We'd planned on getting more work done but we've decided to go back to our regular company and wait for them if they're unavailable.

Needed to have a row of Leylandii trees reduced in height. Received an excellent service from quote to completion and would recommend. Thank you for your service.

We had a brilliant experience with the team at Mint & Swift. The quoting process was excellent, I called and spoke to the team and a quote was completed within 24 hours. I had another quote from a gardener and opted to initially go for that option, however the gardener attended and was not able to do the work that was needed to reduce the height of 13 trees and only got through a third of the job. I immediately contacted Chris who was able to have a team of tree surgeons attend the following day and we are very happy and thankful for the professionalism of Mint and Swift. They attended at 9am the next day as agreed and completed all the works and left the garden clean and tidy. The team Chris, Kane, Maz, Dan, Charlie & Charlie were so hard working and couldn’t have done more to deserve this 5* review!

I would 100 percent recommend Mint and Swift. From quoting to completion I couldn't fault it. The team who came to complete the work were very professional and left the garden and home tidy and neat. They were very friendly and went above and beyond! For future work I will be asking again for there help!

Needed overgrown tall conifers and a hedge trimmed, squared off top and sides, front and a little off the back. Chris came over on the 13th, and since he had a cancellation of a job that day was able to re-assign a crew of three. Nice, clean and thorough job all round. Even cleaned up cuttings from neighbour. Not so pricey, no fuss and job done within a few hours. Happy days!

Impressed with Chris McGinnity when he came to give me a quote for pruning or felling cypress tree. Chris advised felling and I received a very prompt and professional free quotation the same day by email. I accepted the quotation and arranged for the tree to be felled and the stump and root under slab to be ground away and the slab relaid after grinding. Fellers arrived an hour or so earlier than expected. They felled tree and did some grinding and relaid the slab. They tidied up and removed most of the debris from the site but left quite a mound of shavings over the hole and I was advised this would settle. A helleborus plant has gone presumably during the felling. I paid the invoice within a couple of days. My gardener came this morning to replant a shrub in the space where the tree had been and I was told the root had not been completely ground away as had been agreed and paid for so the plant could only be planted shallowly. Feel I have been let down and taken advantage of as there is no way I could see and check that the work of the stump and root grinding had been done efficiently.

Mint and Swift were absolutely awesome! Very happy with the service from beginning to end.

We have used Chris at Mint and Swift twice now. They removed the big apple tree and huge fig tree in our garden. And did some 'cleaning' of the garden.

I was very impressed with Chris from the first time I spoke to him and he could give me a quote the same day and did the work a few days later (or maybe it was the next day.. sorry I can't remember, but it was very quickly). The price was also very reasonable. (I got 4 other quotes)

They cleared the garden waste (tree and all) and left our garden clean and tidy. I highly recommend Mint and Swift as a reliable, professional service.
