I had a cracked bathroom floor tile so…

I had a cracked bathroom floor tile so found Minoli online and contacted them. I didn't have the tile type or colour so Shaun Liptrot from Minoli asked for a photograph and then sent me a sample to compare. It was the correct one and I ordered the tile with a few to spare in case of other cracks in the future. Shaun kept me informed throughout the process and I could not fault his customer service which was outstanding. Thank you and wish other companies had such a high regard for their customers! Highly recommend.

Happy two years later

Two years ago we got Minoli Venti Mix tiles in a natural matt finish for our kitchen backsplash. I'm really happy with the quality and look, and I’d highly recommend them. While having a rustic-looking surface, they’re non-porous and perfectly sealed, so they handle fat, juice, and water splashes without leaving a trace. Super easy to clean.
We have Luminous glazed tiles in the bathroom, really beautiful colours. Go for Minoli.

I just wanted to say how brilliant…

I just wanted to say how brilliant Shaun was from the outlet department near Oxford . We moved into a new build flat 11 years ago and the tiles around the bath were from minoli

Fast forward a few years and I now needed a walk in shower and had an idea to just add to the existing tiles

However I could not find them anywhere

I emailed Shaun on the off chance and he replied straight away and told me the name and that they had some in stock

From that point he went above and beyond despite the fact that I was placing only a small order

He provided such good service and I received the tiles and they look great alongside the existing ones

It’s a win for customer service and also a win for the environment as less tiles were needed and it would have been a shame to have pulled off the old ones when they were still good

Thanks so much Shaun - you are a star

Buying Direct from Minoli Tiles

A high quality showroom in Oxford with a huge range of tiles to see in large display format and also an adjacent factory clearance unit as well.
All the colleagues that we dealt with whether by phone or in person were very helpful.
A special mention to Lee who was especially supportive and knowledgeable and helped us to make our choice.
Thanks also to Gary for sorting out the order and arranging prompt and free delivery of our tiles.
All in all, a very good experience and we very much look forward to seeing the tiles fitted in our home.

Problems

We ordered the extra large format Boost Natural tiles that are front and centre on the Minoli website via a reputable third party reseller. Our bathroom fitters, who came highly recommended and clearly know their trade very, very well, instantly had difficulty cutting the tiles. When the second tile shattered on a straight cut, they telephoned Minoli to seek their advice on how to cut the tiles. Minoli advised them to use the exact method they had already been using. My fitters decided to get a top-of-the-range wet cutter and were supported in this decision by Minoli, whose advice their sought throughout. Whatever the method, the tiles kept breaking when cut.

Minoli sent someone to our house. He swapped the blade on the cutter my fitters were using and the breakage rate was still around 50%. Sadly the breakage rate meant we ran out of tiles to complete the bathroom.

Since then, I have been chasing both Minoli and the reseller to attempt to get them to send more tiles so we could have a functioning bathroom. I did speak to the MD, who was initially very responsive and seemed to take my concerns about the quality of Minoli tiles seriously. Communication tailed off however and he seemed more concerned with me going via my reseller than just getting tiles to me. All in all, I would not recommend Minoli tiles to anyone - there is clearly a fault with the tiles and despite some initial good engagement, they don't seem bothered with fixing things. Best avoided. If matters are resolved swiftly from here I am prepared to update my review but time is ticking on.
