Would you trust an accountant who ignores their client?
Kate Milne was recommended to us by our cousin who is a close friend of hers to manage our mother's probate. Mum died in September 2024 and we instructed Milne and Co a couple of months later. At first Kate engaged with us and asked all the right questions.
She told us she had what she needed to progress and would contact us if she needed more.
By January 2025 we became worried about her lack of response to emails and calls.
She finally did respond in January to tell us all was in hand.
That was the last response we had from her.
In desperation, my sister contacted the Probate Office and confirmed what we suspected. Milne and Co had not lodged anything with them.
