Visited store in Darlington, served by a lovely lady called Julie, I couldn't see what I was looking for julie politely offered assistance, and found exactly what I wanted in storage, as it was from the Autum range.

Went in to buy some new hiking boots. Young (ish) lad whose name I forget helped me choose a pair and gave me some excellent advice regarding fitting and what boots to buy as I have recently got a painful bunion. He even wrote down a link to you tube and insta sites with advice for people with bunions and how best to deal with them. Fantastic customer service- give him a pay rise and promotion!

I have been into Millets a couple of times recently, as I’m new to hiking and needed a pair of good boots. I didn’t really know where to start but the lady who served me was extremely helpful and patient, and gave me some good advice. I purchased some boots on my second visit and I’m very pleased with them so far. Excellent little shop with 5* customer service!

Called into Darlington branch for advice on ladies walking shoes. A young guy came and measured my feet and we talked about my needs having had an operation on my right foot. I am now the proud owner of a pair of Merrell ladies walking shoes and some really comfortable Bridgedale socks. First day out my feet feel amazing, I feel I could go anywhere in my new shoes. Can't thank you guys enough for your patience and very helpful advice. Will definitely be back again and would really recommend you to others.

we visited the store yesterday to get some boots for an upcoming trip to Scotland, as we entered the store and looked at the boots a female member of staff came over and asked if we needed any help, when approaching another member of the team when we wanted to try on some boots, James came to assist and could not have been more friendly & helpful and had us sorted in no time!! 🙌🏻

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the lady that served me in the Darlington store today. The item I needed for my daughter wasn’t in store but she was able to order it in-store to be sent to my home. I’ve already had a email saying its been dispatched. Purchased some new walking trainers from the darlington store and jade who served me was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The young man in Millets helped me to find a suitable item of clothing then assisted us with a problem we had with a torch on a hat which was not purchased from the store but he showed us how to charge it up as he had a similar one- very pleasant and patient.

Myself and partner are travelling to Iceland and we had came into store on two occasions to look for a coat for my partner. Both times the staff were super friendly and helpful, and on the second time we were served by two lovely ladies. You didn’t have the coat we were originally looking for in my partners size, but the sales assistant was so helpful she managed to find us an alternative, which my partner absolutely loved!! We were definitely impressed by the quick, efficient and helpful service! Plus the interest in our trip and how friendly all the staff have been, we would 100% recommend millets to our friends and family, Thanks so much!
