The pick up hub was a great start to our trip, the free coffee, campers community cupboard and general staff mood were brilliant.

Too tip, check the community fridge and cupboard for some of the essentials you might need to buy. Then leave any unused essentials when you drop the camper back.

Returning Home to reconnect with Whenua and Whanau, no better way to do it on my own schedule allowing my path to be revelled rather than planned!

wish I could give 100 stars. service went above and beyond. written to the company on exceptional servixe of two emplyees. they made the whole hiring process seemless and I was driving off in no time at all.

Amazing experience. Everything was neat and tidy and love it. Love to do one more road trip.

Booking and service was good however unfortunately there were multiple problems with the vehicle maintenance. Coil light was on the whole trip, difficulty starting motor on two occasions, door to cabin not closing, windows not opening, smoke alarm needed batteries replacing, cabin smelt of cigarette smoke, shower rail dislodged from wall. Unfortunately we will not be using this company again.

Everything was great and clear. Starting with the reservation process, quick response from the booking team, checkin and great car. We absolutely loved it.

Enjoyed our first experience with using an RV. The staff at the Auckland location were friendly and helpful, but we did wait a long time between checking in to collect the RV and actually driving off.

The vehicle was old and run down. Obviously not checked over before being rented out to the next sucker.
The heater didn't work, Gas cooker leaked gas and couldn't be lit with the sparker unless van was plugged in to power, so first night were unable to cook, Sliding door constantly had a very loud rattle, 12 volt battery system didn't even last one evening before the fridge was unable to work and the beds were worn out. Heap of crap!! And the only compensation was the offer to waive the diesel tax of about $180.

Staff were friendly and made whole process very easy.

We are in New Zealand for the first time from Brisbane and the heater stopped working. We lost half a day in Wellington getting it fixed. I understand if it was a fault. But it was just that the heater was not serviced and was not performing. Once done it was heating fantastic. When asked for a fair compensation we were given a megre $105 back and then no response when we asked for more. We have always used THL since 2009. But this time was worse. The cold really made it really bad. We will surely think next time going with THL.
Don't just apologise, refund correctly.

From arriving in Auckland to the free transfer to the camper van site, to staff helpfulness in running through everything was just what we needed before we ventured onto the open roads in the North Island. Driving the van was a breeze, and most places could a accommodate the van size for parking. The van return was another simple process (thanks to Barry!) and we were able to make use of the communal kitchen with items that we hadn't used could be left for new holiday makers. Would definitely use again if/when we return to NZ. Until then, thank you x

Everyone was so lovely and accommodating. My Familly from overseas had the loveliest welcome to New Zealand!

Very neat and tidy, with all the basic emenities in it. Beddings were very clean too.

The car is good but being a campervan, it’s not. We had issue on lights/power. We had issue on reimbursing as initially we did not got approval for full amount reimbursement but good thing Elizabeth from customer service helped us. It makes us feel bit better. But as to the campervan, it let us down.

We had an excellent experience. The toll free service number was a great service. We had a nail a tire, an arrangement was made for service in the next big town and we were on our way within an hour. We had a couple other minor issues that were answered by the toll free service center. Great customer service.

The pick up and drop off was smooth and efficient. Thanks for the shower facilities too.

Our campervan was great, clean and stocked with everything we needed.

I made a complaint about the water tank in the camper finished before even 24 hours of taking it without any shower or toilet use just washing cups . When we try to fill up the tank the water hose provides has no adapter to fit and we could not use it . I try to call many times no pick up . When we arrived I made complaint to the officer and he promised someone will give me a call to discuss still nothing happened and no one call me . It’s apear to us you don’t care about customer to enjoy holidays. I had family came from overseas and this had caused lots of discomfort and disappointment.

Nice RV, very comfortable and clean. So easy to checkin and check out. Highly recommend.
