Purchased an order for just shy £3000 and the customer advice who originally placed my order was lovely and very helpful. The item was out of stock and was delayed in delivery which I wasn’t made aware of.
The price then dropped before I had any confirmation of any new delivery date so I called to advise them as I previously been advised that they offer a price match. The lady who answered the phone call this time was incredibly rude and deliberately unhelpful. She told me they do offer price match but was refusing to do so.
I have now cancelled the whole order and will shop with an alternative brand. The price match and “quality” machines is not reflected in their customer service!

We purchased a Miele built-in refrigerator in August 2024 and less than two years later it suffered a major system failure. The appliance operated at approx. 20°C for around a week. We only discovered the issue by chance. There was no warning and no effective alert despite food being stored at unsafe temperatures. What makes this situation particularly distressing is that I am heavily pregnant and we also have a four-year-old child. We lost food, incurred additional expenses and experienced significant stress and anxiety. After waiting 8 days for an engineer visit, the technician confirmed that the appliance appears to have a major fault but was not authorised to make any decision regarding repair or replacement. We have therefore been left without a working refrigerator for more than a week while Miele's internal process continues. The technician was professional and helpful. My criticism is directed at Miele's escalation and decision-making process. I would never have expected a premium brand to leave a family in this position, particularly given the health implications and the age of the appliance. Extremely disappointing experience.

James is a thorough thorough technician. Does everything right? Sometimes it doesn’t go right and I get him back and he puts it right but himself is a gentleman and I trust in him To eventually we’ve got things working all down to him. I think where I never had the new data put down for years when the other agents come it was only when James come and downloaded the new data. It took a few weeks but now it’s working fine and I wouldn’t have anyone but James

Hi,I am extremely disappointed with both the customer service and after-sales support from Miele UK.
My coffee machine is still under warranty, yet I have been trying for months to get someone to inspect it. The machine doesn't display an error message, but after making just one coffee, I have to refill the water tank. This clearly doesn't seem normal, and I simply wanted an engineer to investigate why this is happening.
Instead of offering support, I was told that if an engineer visits and no fault is found, I could be charged £180. I find this unacceptable for a machine that is still under warranty, especially when I am reporting what appears to be an issue with its performance.
I was also told that someone would contact me to discuss the matter further, but I have received no follow-up despite waiting for months.
I expected much better customer service from a premium brand like Miele. Sadly, my experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and completely lacking in communication. I hope Miele improves the way it supports customers who simply want genuine concerns investigated while their products are still under warranty.

Booked delivery of two ovens with disconnection and installation. On the day, the fitter incorrectly deemed the installation unsafe, but my electrician confirmed it was a straightforward like-for-like replacement requiring no alterations. Despite repeated calls, Miele refused to reconsider, so I rearranged delivery with disconnection only and arranged installation myself.
The ovens were delivered, but the disconnection wasn't carried out, and my newly restored doorstep was damaged during delivery.
Seven weeks later, I'm still waiting for a £330 refund for services I never received. Multiple emails/calls have produced only generic responses expressing "understanding" without explaining the delay or resolving the issue.
I chose Miele for its premium reputation, but the customer service has been anything but premium. It's been impossible to get a meaningful response, leaving me feeling that customers are simply expected to give up.

the engineer solved our problem with our drier and we have experienced no further problems,

The engineer was anxious to sort the problems and willingly answered any questions.

Engineer was very very efficient and thorough in his work.
However, the wrong motor was supplied to him, he had to rearrange the visit. He was very embarrassed by this.

We had to have the lock on our oven replaced because it had melted during a pyrolytic clean. Miele’s stance was that, as the unit was almost 12 months out of warranty (it’s only used six months of the year) they had no responsibility. They would not accept that the lock was obviously “unfit for purpose” - how can it melt during one of the built in processes and be fit for purpose. We were charged over £420 for the call out and part replacement - the guy who did the work was efficient and quickly sorted the replacement. Wish the same could be said for Miele’s attitude which was a lack of ‘customer care’ think twice as there are other ‘high end’ suppliers who are much better.

I’ve sent a review after the visit; excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable engineer. He is an asset for the company.

My hoover is just over 3 years old and it has stopped working I have called up for help and done everything that I can possibly do but the person on the phone was not helpful they just want me to buy a new hoover with 20% or pay £150 for them to fix it. The customer service department is not very helpful so please be aware when purchasing from this company

Despite having a 10-year warranty on a number of Miele products, and having recently needed to claim for an oven malfunction, Miele have been harassing me to pay the £377 repair costs.
Despite my repeated efforts to provide clear and indisputable evidence of the warranty, backed by Domestic and General who confirm I am not responsible for the repair costs, Miele have continued to harass me for payment. It has taken an exchange of over 50 emails and a number of phone calls (impossible to speak to anyone with any authority) to try and resolve. Any human contact with Miele is always through a bland Filipino-based call centre whose staff operate by reading from a standard and unhelpful script.
Miele need to feel very ashamed of their "hiding behind a stone wall" approach to handling customer enquiries or complaints and their treatment of customers.
Miele have left me disillusioned and in much despair. Shame on them! If you're looking for anything like a half decent customer support service then I would say avoid Miele at all costs.

If I could give less than one star I would. Definitely not the company they used to be. We had a washing machine with a 10 year warranty. It finally broke after 12 years. We foolishly thought, simple just buy another Miele. Only comes with a two year warranty. Unfortunately, they use a third party courier, Arrow XL to deliver and install and they have no clue about installation. They delivered on the first attempt but unable to install unless we wanted to take the risk of them flooding our property. We declined. Customer service were not helpful. A week later, and a second attempt a different crew at least managed to disconnect the old machine and connect the new one, after quite a lot of spilt water. We ended up contacting our local plumber to check it over. I wish we had read the reviews before committing. Should have bought a Bosch with 5 year warranty!

I have a Miele freestanding under the counter fridge, about 2 years old. There was a lingering rotten smell in my kitchen, which I eventually traced to the back of the fridge, to a plastic container behind the ventilation grill. It was completely inaccessible, so, having consulted the manual, I rang customer services. I received no useful help, the agent seeming not to understand my problem. I offered to send a photo, but no. I have spent hours trying to clean the container, my hands scratched, cloths and knives ruined. What a ridiculous design! I'll never buy another Miele.

I ordered a part on 3rd July. I received an email stating that the part would be delivered on the 4th it wasn’t ! I received an email from DPD to say that they had missed me!
I organised for the part to be re delivered Monday 6th again I received an email from DPD that they had missed me. I contacted Miele customer services who rearranged with DPD to deliver on Tuesday 7th giving an hour slot again this time was missed. I rang Meile customer services again who were able to tell me the driver was running late which meant I would miss him due to my commitments. Wednesday the 8th DPD informed me that they are returning the part to Miele.
I spoke again to customer services who advised that once the warehouse had received the part I would be issued a refund which may take up to 10 working days.
I can confirm through camera footage that DPD did not call either Saturday or Monday. I have stayed in 3 days to accommodate delivery of a Miele part and still not received it to be told by customer service that I will be refunded once it’s received back. I have bought Miele appliances over many years but if they continue to use a delivery company that cannot deliver parts when stated or on time then it gives me no confidence in the company I am purchasing from. I feel totally penalised for poor service and the only person affected is me.
