There's an older lady who works here that has the worst attitude I've ever seen. She slams things around, complains when you ask for something, rolls her eyes at you. I've also witnesses her talking t... See more

Easy fix… don’t buy from them!
Discusting pie
Just bought one of dicksons family mince pies today but boy i wished i hadn't, i might as well have just ate a lump of lard instead because that's how bad it was full of grease and fat they obviously went out of their way to source the fattiest cheapest mince they could find it was discusting i had to throw it in the bin can't believe this company has any customers at all if this pie was anything to go by so avoid at all costs
My missus brought home 2 steak pies…
My missus brought home 2 steak pies today, as I asked her. l've been buying from dicksons for years and I'm extremely disappointedn that they are now conning their buyers, with substandard produce. There isn't much in the way of steak, as they are using fillers to thicken the gravy that much, so they can put less meat in them. The pastry is far too thick..and the pie trays have a wider rim, which makes the pie look bigger than it is...The mince pies are pretty much the same...thicker gravy..and less minced beef..The steak pies were £4.78p for the too...STOP RIPPING OFF YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS, You're already losing them...You're selling substandard produce and charging more for it...from a now ex customer. I'm gonna tell my family to stop buying from you too...enough is enough...
Absolutely shocking how Dixon quality…
Absolutely shocking how Dixon quality foods have dropped so low in quality. Once they we’re unbeatable in texture and taste but now myself and friends have vowed never to buy again. Steak pies full of thick gristle saveloys with bones in them as are the pork pies sausage rolls etc. Such a shame profits soared through cheap meats offered to us….yuk
Salt mayhem
Every Dickson’s products yak! All I taste is salt nothing else... pastry is too thick and hardly any filling for the prices you pay. Will not buy again ☹️
Walked into Pelaw shop
Walked into Pelaw shop, prior to ordering food, needed to take a couple of disposable Napkins from top of counter, member of staff approached me and asked if I needed any help, I replied that I just needed a couple of Napkins, but was told in an abrupt attitude, that I needed to buy something. As a regular customer to this shop, I’m disgusted at the customer service and attitude from this female member of staff. My advice, don’t waste your money in this shop, Greggs is next door and the service is much better.
Staff unaware of promotions
In the Metro newspaper there was an ad for Dicksons which included vouchers for various deals.
It's a while since I've bought anything other than pies from them so I decided to use the voucher for a pork sandwich for £1.99.
I visited my local Dicksons today and asked if they had any of the pork sandwiches left, and showed my voucher.
I assume the woman serving was new as she looked baffled by my voucher and had to ask a male if they had any.
He was very dismissive to her and said if there were any they'd be in the cold cabinet.
As there weren't any I just said thanks and walked out.
As I left I heard him quite abrasively telling her twice 'You have to make them'
I had no intention of turning round to see if they were now prepared to make me a sandwich, and I left to buy a lovely sausage sandwich and coffee from a nearby Cooplands shop.
I've noticed some Dicksons stores in my area have closed and it could be due to the poor customer service they display.
Maybe better staff training or mystery shoppers could determine why the Staff in my local store seem unaware of promotions the company is running or how to make a sandwich.
There's lots of sandwich shops where I live and no reason for me to go back to this Dicksons where they don't seem to want to make money.
Loved the first few mince and onion…
Loved the first few mince and onion pies, from lovely pastry to tasty filling, but the last couple of small 2 packs have been too salty, have you changed the recipe?
One of the best customer service
I regularly purchase cheese savoury (the best cheese savoury in the world) from MI Dickson and I have to say that John Cowan and his team provide the best service, they so friendly, helpful and welcoming that it makes purchasing so simple and easy to complete. Thank you guys.
