Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product quality, particularly the operating system, which they found to be problematic and intrusive with unwanted updates. Customers also frequently reported issues with the technology, including difficulties with cloud sync, website navigation, and the functionality of peripherals like pens and onscreen keyboards. The customer service was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to get human support, experiencing robotic responses, and facing endless loops when trying to resolve issues. Reviewers also felt that the company’s approach to user experience was poor, citing enforced logins, data collection, and a general disregard for customer needs.

Utterly disgusting

Utterly disgusting!
Taken £104.99 despite cancelling over a year ago.
As I already pay monthly!! Refunded by my bank and now reclaimed by Microsoft. Leaving me out of pocket. I have evidence it was cancelled. Poor service!

I’m honest“Charged for Microsoft 365 for 3 Years Without Using It — No Help From Supportly disappointed with my…

I’m honestly disappointed with my experience with Microsoft.

For the past three years, I’ve been charged for a Microsoft 365 subscription linked to an email account I haven't used in 20 years. I never actively used the service, never downloaded the apps, and never activated it on any devices. It simply continued billing in the background.

When I discovered the charges and reached out, I was told their refund policy is limited to 30 days, which meant there was nothing they could do about it. While I understand companies need policies, it feels unreasonable when the subscription was clearly never used or activated.

This is a company that reported roughly $275B in revenue in 2025, and it’s disappointing that there’s no flexibility or customer-first approach in situations like this.

At the very least, I hope they consider improving their billing transparency and offering better support when long-unused subscriptions slip through the cracks. On the flip side, I need to be more diligent with my subscriptions.

Have to pay for Minecraft twice

Have to pay for Minecraft twice. Lost access to my email account and was not able to migrate the Minecraft account, so now they are telling me I have to buy the game again even though I have the transaction and order id from when I bought it.

Source of harassment

Microsoft is an anti-aesthetic factor that lacks the minimum cultural conditions on all computerized complex in front of me on my work desk.
They spread advertisements with a despicable intrusion that leaves no normal space for the individual. They are a major source of harassment.

A complete and utter sh*tshow

A complete and utter sh*tshow – Don’t waste a single cent!
"I’ve spent over an hour staring at a screen trying to launch a game I actually PAID for, all because of Microsoft’s bloated, broken, and completely useless ecosystem. This is a total disgrace.
Their login loops, mandatory apps, and constant errors are a joke. You don't buy a game here; you buy a headache and a technical support simulator. Their system is pure garbage and it’s clearly designed by people who have never played a video game in their lives.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MICROSOFT. You’ll spend more time fighting their broken launcher than actually playing. Save your money, save your sanity, and go to Steam or literally anywhere else. This is pathetic, unprofessional, and a complete waste of human time. Absolute 0/10.

Windows 11 is TRASH

Windows 11 is TRASH. Avoid at all costs. Small business owner here. Been using MS Windows since mid 90's. This new system, Windows 11, is now costing us time and money. Too much AI BS and too much unnecessary crap running in the background. Our whole office is soon ditching all MS Windows products and computers. Off to Apple, Google or Linux world. Good ridance!

Microsoft Needs To Go

I Couldnt Hate A Product Or Business As Much As I Hate Microsoft. Decades Ago When It Was MsnTheir Products Like Hotmail Was Great. Not Now. Now I Can't Even Login Without Having To Get A Stupid Code Sent To A Backup Email.. When My Husband Got A New Phone, Just Because He Hadnt Used His Email. On That Phone They Took Away His Email. To Date (1 Year Later) We Still CANNOT Get His Email Back. They Refuse To Help. We Made A New Email For Him, Now He Cant Even Use Bing Anymore Because They Said The Account Was "Suspicious". This Is Why I Prefer Gmail, Gmx Or Proton.

Microsoft doesn't update date added in account

Many weeks ago I added new email accounts, my current telephone number etc. to my account. To prevent to being locked out.
I removed old (not accessible) email addresses. I could not remove a previous phone number at that time. So I added 1.

Now I have to change some things. And guess what!!! I have to prove I am me by let MS sending an email to not existing email addresses anymore. Or a text message to a not existing phone number.
WHY is it possible to change data weeks ago to get stuck with old info?!

Microslop = Scummy

I'm so sick and tired the tens of times they block out important emails. I never receive them at all. And of course, looked in the spam folder, spam filter, trash bin, scripts, etc. Emails never reaches me at all because these morons block so many real emails that I can't receive so I must change my email to gmail for so many websites and contacts in order to receive them!

Improve customer service

Improve customer service. The account recovery process is frustrating and repetitive, relying only on the Account Recovery Form, which often says the information provided is “not enough” to verify your own account. Account recovery should not be this complicated. There is also no option to chat with a real support agent to explain situations. Customer service phone services doesn’t solve anything either the system only connects you to automated messages telling you that everything must be handled online and disconnects the call. Unfortunately, Microsoft’s system feels unnecessarily difficult and unhelpful for customers who genuinely need assistance.
