Ridiculous

Ridiculous. Poor. Pointless!
The previous version was excellent so, at most, needed a tweak here or there.
Which idiot decided to press ahead and roll out this aberration???

Abysmal and virtually useless

I used to rely almost entirely on the Met Office app which was pretty good before and usually the most accurate. The updated version is a disaster, clunky, can’t properly locate me like before and no options to sort and personalise favourite locations. No written forecast and I can’t find pressure indicators or the long range forecast either. Dismal, am infuriated that I actually paid to remove ads (and before ad-free was free). Wish I’d kept the old one.

Wrecked a previously brilliant app

Thought I'd add my voice to the barrage of disapproval. The Met Office have absolutely wrecked a previously brilliant app. Surely, with this much bad feedback they have to listen and scrap this new version. I tried for a few days and then uninstalled. It's hopeless.

What was wrong with the previous app

What was wrong with the previous app? This new version of the app is hard to navigate. The colours make it hard to read. Maximum wind gusts are not displayed with the average wind speeds but separately. Please return to the previous format. I shall be looking for a different app.

Bring back the previous app

Bring back the previous app. This new version isadarl screen, ony s limited amounta of data on the main screen, less than the last version. To fidout more details you gave to scroll down and click to open another page for wind, for pollution, for rain .It's not user friedy and very difficult to navigate on a mobile phone. Duets dark scree it will be impossible to read the screen in bright daylight.

Rubbish

It looks like a child has put this together. Hard to navigate, clunky performance and no pressure chart. It’s garbage after the old one was fine. Why do this????

The new app is appaling

This new app is awful and not user friendly. The screen is too crowded with information. Who decided we didn't need a pressure map. It was one of the most useful features. The location accuracy is appalling. Several miles out and varies on different devices in the same room.

Terrible

Terrible, wind arrow should always point to where the wind is coming from, not to where its going, definitely a step backwards.

This is the most terrible update

This is the most terrible update. The last app did not look good and it had is faults but it was easy to see at a glance. This upgrade wastes a huge amount of valuable screen space making it very slow to use. Key information such as wind guests is hidden. Key information should be available at a glance. We do not need descriptions and graphics. A shameful update.

The new “upgrade” is depressing with…

The new “upgrade” is depressing with its black and grey background and far too busy.
On the landing screen I want a quick look to clearly see the sun, rain and wind for the day before going out as the old one provided perfectly. My location also keeps coming up incorrect.
Unfortunately the forecasts are very good or I would switch to a different app

Can't get on with the new weather app

Can't get on with the new weather app, my locations are gone as well as local one miles off my actual location. Dark screen is awful, unpleasant to read, screen too cluttered, info difficult to find. Going back to the BBC

Weather app not fit for purpose.

The met office has taken away my access to the daily weather information which is essential to my life.
The new version is unclear, difficult to read and eats up my mobile data so that I cannot regularly check it.
Please reinstate the old version of the app.

What has happened at the met office

What has happened at the met office? They used to be able to tell you what tomorrows weather would be like, and the day after. In recent years they struggle to be able to tell you what the weather will be like in the next hour!

Get a grip Met Office

What on earth are the met office doing? This new app released in January 2016 is awful, a totally retrograde step. Don't they have testers to try these apps before release? The rainfall map is now terrible, takes forever to scroll through. Also what is the point of stating in the main weather view the percentage chance of rain when you don't say how much? 90% chance of 10mm/hr is totally different to 90% chance of 0.5mm/hr.,..

Oh dear

Oh dear, possibly the worst attempt at a weather app ever. The previous app was ok , not the best, but sufficient.
