I have historically always had good…
I have historically always had good service at the Exeter dealership. The service this time was also good. Mike was very helpful to sort out a headlight bulb issue. I only dropped a star rating because messages left at the online check-in had not got through to the workshop. It's the people that make the experience good, so the trend to move towards non-human contact (self check-in and collection boxes at pickup) are not welcome.

Avoid this dealer
Mercedes Exeter did two expensive repairs on my GLC both failed. They did repair both, eventually, free of charge however within a few short weeks both repairs failed again causing a breakdown. A local independent Mercedes mechanic was horrified at the very poor workmanship including loose and missing bolts. I complained to Mercedes several times but their response was basically tough luck. Their customer service team treated me with disdain. Thoroughly disgusted with their service. IGNORE THEIR VEHICLE HEALTH CHECKS as clearly they cannot even get that right. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

Our records show that the repairs carried out by Mercedes-Benz of Exeter were completed in line with Mercedes-Benz repair procedures, using genuine parts, and that subsequent issues were addressed free of charge under warranty, including the provision of a courtesy vehicle on each occasion.
We categorically refute any suggestion that repairs were completed with missing or loose fixings while the vehicle was in our care. Where independent inspections or further reports are obtained, we are always willing to review them as part of a fair and balanced investigation.
That said, we recognise that vehicle concerns can be frustrating and we regret that you feel disappointed by the outcome. We have made efforts to engage constructively and, as a gesture of goodwill and without admission of liability, offered further support to help bring this matter to a close.
We would encourage you to contact us directly should you wish to discuss this further, as we believe this is best resolved through open dialogue rather than via a public forum.

Superb customer service
We went into the showrooms with a list of what we needed a vehicle to do and spoke to the team who were extremely helpful. We got the suitable vehicles down to a couple which they let us open/sit/configure as we wanted. We then test drove one of them and purchased it. All throughout the process they were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, polite and courteous. Comparing the experience to other similar brands they were so much better. If you need a vehicle I recommend dropping in and talking to them. You will be pleasantly surprised about how customer focused they are without any hard sell. Overall it was a simple pleasant experience.

My car was in for its regular service…
My car was in for its regular service as part of the service plan.
The service i received from mike was excellent as usual.
I must also give thanks to josh, the technician who carried out the service.
He's health check video was easily the bedt I've had. Where as normaly its very difficult to hear whats being said, josh chose the perfect time with no background noise and was clear in his descriptions of my car.
Well done josh , I look forward to you dealing with my car in future.

Repair of Indicator - not quite solved yet
My car was in for the repair of the right hand indicator on mirror housing. I was told that it was due to water that got in the housing somehow
When i got my car back, I noticed a gap on the housing. I sent pictures to the person in charge of the repair, Gemma Vincent
She emailed back: "Yes no problem, I will have my team call you took in for a mobile service visit."
James visited me at home and took a look. They said it will be dealt with on the 9th of Jan 26, when my MOT & Service is carried out

Sam Ward's customer service was exceptional. My purchase was not straight forward as I had to deal with a running deal which had 4 months left, but he took over and handled everything for me. He kept me informed every step of the way, and what started as a general enquiry ended with a purchase of my other dream car. In his absence he made sure I had contacts just in case, Matt and Shakira were great. Will recommend their Dealership in a heart beat.

Having had a stroke recently I arranged collection and delivery of my car for its annual service and MOT.
All went to plan and I was notified of the work involved for the car to pass its mot.
