Do not subscribe to this service they have been taking payments from me
Monthly despite me cancelling more than two months ago.
I intend to take this further

Like all of the reviews for this service, I thought this had potential until I wanted to cancel. I have tried to cancel several times now, along with emailing with no responses. I am now in the process of battling this with my bank. This is bordering on fraud. NOT happy. Stay well clear of it.

This started out great, until I wanted to cancel. I requested to cancel my subscription four months ago and they have continued to charge me. I have had to contact my bank to stop them taking any more. I am not the only person this has happened to, I just wish I had read the reviews before subscribing.

My daughter subscribed to Medic Player as her school recommended it. We’ve tried to cancel the subscription twice and Medic Player are still taking payments. This is NOT OK.

Unfortunately several unauthorised payments taken. I’m going to report this to online fraud / police as I see other people have given similar reviews.

I felt this had Great potential, and was excited that a friend had a voucher for 50% off. Which was accepted at the checkout.
But then I couldn't gain access from 16th February, the day I purchased it. So I used the contact form. NADA
I emailed 3 times no reply, no confirmation of reply. Eventually yesterday 28th so 12 days later I called my bank and asked them to charge back. Which was done quickly.

What's really sad is, if they had just called or emailed and said ourbad that voucher code wasn't valid you need to pay 50 quid extra a year, I wouldn't have batted an eyelid because I felt this could help me in my studies.

After I tweeted my experience they have apolgised and sorted the issue plus given me a free 12 month subscription.
Can't do better than this really. Excellent.

Update 18/0321.
So after doing everything I was instructed to do, and given a year free (it still didn't work btw) but I had my money back via a charge back. This morning I received a letter from my bank with medicplayer disputing the charge back claiming that I was stealing their intellectual property.
Luckily for me. I keep meticulous records and have videos showing it doesn't play on my account, photos of the conversation on twitter as well as the copies of emails I sent.

The bank were highly amused that they even tried to claim it when I have such an overwhelming amount of evidence.
Clearly one side of the business doesn't know what the other side is doing

Yet again, they've tried to take payment for a cancelled subscription (that I've attempted to cancel via their website 3 times). They failed to respond to my cancellation requests, phone calls, Tweets, Facebook comments, Facebook messenger messages or emails.
I then took up a dispute with my bank. They suspended payments from MedicPlayer who have now had the audacity to contact me because they've tried to take yet another unauthorised payment, and failed!
DON'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY - THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Took up a subscription based on "free trial", and then decided to cancel the subscription. In spite of following their (difficult) process to cancel, they have taken an unauthorised second payment. I have stopped my card. I am yet to receive any communication from Medic Player about this matter.
